Dr. Taylor Lopez

Dr. Taylor Lopez

Goodyear, AZ

Dr. Taylor Lopez provides compassionate in-home pet euthanasia services across the greater Phoenix metro area, including Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Verrado, Surprise, Peoria, Wickenburg, Glendale, Scottsdale, Chandler, Mesa, and Gilbert. She earned her undergraduate degree from Delaware Valley University in 2019, a small agricultural school on the East Coast, before attending The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her DVM in 2023. Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Lopez relocated to Arizona after meeting her now husband and has built her veterinary career in the Valley. Her professional experience includes emergency medicine, where she developed a deep understanding of the emotional weight that end-of-life care carries for pet families. Dr. Lopez's path to in-home pet euthanasia began with her mother, a vet tech who first sparked her love of animals. Growing up, she was her mother's partner in rescuing baby bunnies, cats, and helping family members with everything from nail trims to unexpected animal care moments. That early exposure to her mother's compassion shaped the veterinarian she became. Her focus on in-home euthanasia grew out of what she witnessed during her emergency medicine years. Of all the euthanasias she performed, the hardest for her to see was when owners walked into the clinic with their pet expecting to take them home, but left without them instead. With in-home euthanasia, her goal is to create an experience that is peaceful, comfortable, and one that families feel truly ready for, in the place their pet loves most. Outside of her veterinary work, Dr. Lopez's life is full with her two children, who keep her very busy and bring her a great deal of joy. She and her family also share their home with Lola, a sassy cat who is very much in charge of the household. When she isn't with patients or her kids, she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the gym, or simply relaxing on the couch with her family.
