Dr. Briell Dzierga
Born and raised in rural Massachusetts, Dr. Dzierga developed a fascination with animals at a young age, inspired by her love for drawing them. This passion led her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and Technology, with a minor in Honors and Biology, from The University of Rhode Island in 2014. She then achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian by earning her DVM from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. After veterinary school, Dr. Dzierga moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where she has practiced medicine on a wide variety of species, including large and small animals, as well as nonhuman primates. As a USDA Accredited Veterinarian, AVMA certified, and CAETA trained professional, she emphasizes quality medicine, care, and the importance of spending quality time with both pets and their owners. Dr. Dzierga believes that in-home euthanasia allows her to provide optimal care to her patients in the comfort of their own homes. In her free time, Dr. Dzierga enjoys exploring the outdoors, kayaking, relaxing on the beach, and taking walks with her dog Nala, a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix rescued during her undergraduate studies. She also loves painting and drawing. Dr. Dzierga resides in Charleston with Nala and her cat Pancake, who she found as a kitten on the road during her commute to work. Her mission is to provide compassionate care and quality time to pets and their owners during difficult transitions, ensuring they receive the best care in the comfort of their home.

Dr. Lara Allison
Also serves: Edisto, Seabrook Island, +15 more
Dr. Allison understands that saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the most emotional and personal experiences a family can face. With three decades of veterinary experience and a deep love for animals nurtured since childhood, she brings both professional expertise and heartfelt compassion to each home she visits. A graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Allison has spent her career building meaningful connections with pets and their people, always guided by the belief that every animal deserves comfort, dignity, and love at the end of life. Her commitment to in-home euthanasia began 24 years ago with Smokey, her mother’s cherished dog. On a peaceful riverbank, surrounded by nature and family, Smokey passed gently and without fear. That moment shaped Dr. Allison’s calling: to help other families provide that same calm, loving farewell in the familiar comfort of home. She believes this final act of kindness allows pets to leave this world wrapped in the same love they felt throughout their lives. When she’s not serving families, Dr. Allison enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and spending quiet moments at the beach. At home, she’s kept company by her two cats—Bits of Its, the gentle snuggler, and LB, a curious and talkative explorer. These daily reminders of the joy animals bring fuel her passion for providing compassionate end-of-life care. With every visit, Dr. Allison brings warmth, understanding, and a commitment to helping pets cross the rainbow bridge peacefully, surrounded by the people who love them most.
