I have recognized over my years in private practice just how important not only the first day we have with our pets is, but also the last. Our experience with Sarah was very good. She communicated via text the night before, giving advice that wasn't considered and was valuable. She was flexible if we changed our minds. She was prompt, professional, and patient. I appreciated that she was able to coach us through a difficult time.
Dr. Sarah was like an angel. So kind & Compassionate. She took all the time we needed and was so caring. It was 3 weeks ago this afternoon that we said goodbye to Angie. Angie was 21 years old and my Constant Companion for 18 years. Dr. Sarah made Angie's leaving so graceful and without pain, she slipped away. Our appreciation is boundless.

We needed to put down our beautiful kitty Toby, who was failing quickly and in a lot of pain. Coda-and Dr. Sarah Clem were able to come to our house on a Sunday and euthanize her in a peaceful, loving environment. The end of a beloved pet’s life is always heart-wrenching, but providing a peaceful passing felt like our last gift to her. We will use their services again, if needed, for our other pets and would highly recommend.

Our hearts were broken when our Gracie left us too soon. Gracie was so sick but managed to get up to greet Dr. Sarah Clem when she arrived to help us. It was Dr. Sarah Clem coming into our home, letting me provide the last loving thing I could do for my little Peanut Buddy. She understood the moments belonged to Buddy and me. She provided a gentle loving hand to both of us throughout. Nothing takes away the pain of saying a last goodbye. The hollow in the house now is wrenching. Utterly. But having those final moments in the comfort and privacy of home allowed the experience to be completely personal to our life together.
Dr. Sara was wonderful. She was very kind and thoughtful, explaining the process with my daughter and I thoroughly. She was not rushed and allowed us to spend time with Buster prior to the procedure. Using CodaPet was the best decision. We were able to sit with Buster on the couch where he spent many hours cuddling with me ever since he became elderly and less mobile. It was very difficult for me finally to decide that the time had come to release my sweet Loki from my life and his suffering. Having Dr. Clem euthanize him in his own home was my first experience with in-home euthanasia; however, I will never euthanize another pet in a veterinary clinic again unless the pet's condition is so dire at that moment as to give me no other choice. The hardest decision of our lives was to put our beloved 14 year old fur baby down. He was so special but I know he was in pain and his body was failing him (even though his spirit never did). Dr. Clem made a difficult situation less painful for us. She is one of my regular vets so it was a relief that I had the option to choose her to come to help us say goodbye to our girl. I had to have my beloved maltese , Stella, put down when her inoperable cancerous tumor began bleeding. Heartbreaking decision to make, to decide it is time. She let me know. She was acting very nervous the night before. I knew something was wrong. Then all my cats and other dog just sat around her in bed. They already knew.... When she started bleeding I called Codapet and made an appointment for the next morning with Dr. Sarah Clem. She arrived on time. She was very patient. Even listened to all my silly stories. Gave Stella an injection to make her sleepy. Stella fell asleep in my arms lying on the sofa. She was snoring loudly when Dr. Clem, Sarah now, asked if I was ready. Stella got another injection. She was still snoring...and then she wasn't. So quietly. Sarah listened to Stella's heart, looked at me and shook her head. It was over. She was buried in the back yard under a beautiful little memorial. I can't recommend b this service enough. No scary trip to the vet. Just calm, loving nap at home. I miss her terribly. That is going to take time and probably a new pup in the future. She was the best....

I can't thank Dr. Sarah Clem enough for helping us with our beautiful Miss Bo...giving us the blessing of having her pass peacefully at home with our family around her. Miss Bo was a 14 year old pit bull mix and had been having trouble walking around for the last 6 months as her back legs were giving out to the point where she was dragging herself around. We were pleased to find Codapet when we asked our veterinary office, All Creatures if they provided in home euthanasia services and they provided us with Codapet's contact info. We were also pleased to see that Dr. Sarah Clem was available as she is also a Vet at All Creatures. Codapet's website was so helpful and their online scheduling made the whole experience very easy to setup and schedule payment and cremation services. Dr. Sarah gave us as much time with Miss Bo as we needed the morning she passed...and although it was hard letting her go, the way she passed in her bed with us all around her was the way it should be. She had a beautiful life and she passed peacefully which allowed us to manage getting back to our daily lives without her more easily. I can't recommend Codapet and Dr. Sarah Clem enough. We will be using them for all our future pets.

Dr. Clem was very kind and compassionate with assisting with my dog Tiffany. She let me take my time in grieving my dog. Dr Clem explained to me the process and what to expect. She treated my do with the upmost care. When my poor sweet Tiffany took her last breath Dr Clem gave me time to grieve. I would highly recommend this service

Dr Clem was incredibly kind and caring on one of the worst days of my life. She came to help my 13 year old dog cross over the rainbow bridge and gave me so much time and space to grieve during the process. She handled my girl with care and was so gentle. I'm eternally grateful to her.

Making the decision to put our 17 year old baby to sleep was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made. In all of out grief we are so greatful for Dr Clem and how much compassion she brought from the moment she walked in our home until she dropped of his ashes. My experience with Code A Pet started at a vet appointment with a very compassionate vet who recommended Code A Pet should I need them over a weekend. My call for an appointment was full of understanding about losing a pet. Dr. Sarah Clem came to my house to put down my 15 year rescue dog. My dog use to get overwhelmed when going to a vet, by having Dr. Clem come to my house she was able to stay calm. Dr. Clem was very empathetic, explaining everything she did. I would highly recommend this service and have to my friends.
Patience and love. That is how I describe Dr Clem. She asked if it was our first time; and waited for us to get our composure and answer. It was still a sad experience. But we felt at ease and in loving hands with her being there with us and listening to our stories about our loving Dexter and his crazy antics when he was young. It was the hardest day of my life but Dr Sarah made it less stressful. I wanted my baby girl to leave this world in her favorite room on her favorite bed, not in the stressful vet offices. Such a great service to offer for pet parents.
