Dr. Sarah Clem

My Buster meant everything to me , he was a huge part of my everyday routine. Even when I would leave on a few days trip which wasn’t often because he had. separation anxiety and he did not want me to leave him. I would call to check on him often . Dr Sarah Clem was amazing . She was very compassionate and calm. You could just tell from the very first moment we met her that she truly cared She took her time explaining the process to us and answering any questions that we had . Buster went up to her as she was sitting on a carpet on our floor at his level . He was very comfortable with her . She made one of the hardest decisions I have made in my life a compassionate peaceful transition for my Buster to cross the rainbow bridge. I am so very thankful to have been blessed to have her here to help us during this very emotional hard time. I would definitely recommend her .

Dr. Clem made a difficult situation less painful for us. She is one of my regular vets so it was a relief that I had the option to choose her to come to help us say goodbye to our girl. She did everything right: gave us plenty of time to say goodbye, asked us about our girl and made sure that she was comfortable for the procedure. And she made us a lovely little paw print memento as well.

We needed to put down our beautiful kitty Toby, who was failing quickly and in a lot of pain. Coda-and Dr. Sarah Clem were able to come to our house on a Sunday and euthanize her in a peaceful, loving environment. The end of a beloved pet’s life is always heart-wrenching, but providing a peaceful passing felt like our last gift to her. We will use their services again, if needed, for our other pets and would highly recommend.

Dr. Sarah Clem has lovingly put our 16 year old Dog to forever peace 2 years ago and recently our 16 year old cat. Her calm and supportive presence help you and your beloved pets make this very difficult transition bearable. Making the decision to put our 17 year old baby to sleep was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made. We recently had to make the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to our beloved pet Nugget and I can’t express enough how grateful we are for Dr. Clem. From start to finish, she made the process as peaceful and comfortable as it could possibly be and my heart is filled with joy that we were able to do this as our last gift for my sweet girl. Dr. Clem was incredibly kind, empathetic, patient and took the time to answer all of our questions and ease our concerns. She gave us space to process the decision, but also offered guidance with such gentle understanding. The at-home euthanasia service was a blessing and really the best decision we could have made. It allowed our pet to be in their own familiar space, in her own bed, surrounded by pure love. Dr. Clem truly has a gift for this delicate work and she made a difficult day much easier to bear. Dr Sarah was incredibly compassionate and tender with our 20+ year old cat, Meadow. This was our second time with at-home pet euthanasia. The experience was very peaceful for Meadow; she was home and on her favorite couch blanket in her final moments, surrounded by love and care. I had to have my beloved maltese , Stella, put down when her inoperable cancerous tumor began bleeding. Heartbreaking decision to make, to decide it is time. She let me know. She was acting very nervous the night before. I knew something was wrong. Then all my cats and other dog just sat around her in bed. They already knew.... When she started bleeding I called Codapet and made an appointment for the next morning with Dr. Sarah Clem. She arrived on time. She was very patient. Even listened to all my silly stories. Gave Stella an injection to make her sleepy. Stella fell asleep in my arms lying on the sofa. She was snoring loudly when Dr. Clem, Sarah now, asked if I was ready. Stella got another injection. She was still snoring...and then she wasn't. So quietly. Sarah listened to Stella's heart, looked at me and shook her head. It was over. She was buried in the back yard under a beautiful little memorial. I can't recommend b this service enough. No scary trip to the vet. Just calm, loving nap at home. I miss her terribly. That is going to take time and probably a new pup in the future. She was the best....

My experience with Code A Pet started at a vet appointment with a very compassionate vet who recommended Code A Pet should I need them over a weekend. My call for an appointment was full of understanding about losing a pet. Dr. Sarah Clem came to my house to put down my 15 year rescue dog. Dr. Clem was kind, patient & understanding during her home visit. She took the time we needed to say goodbye and most of all, share stories of our beloved Bruno. It was very difficult for me finally to decide that the time had come to release my sweet Loki from my life and his suffering. Having Dr. Clem euthanize him in his own home was my first experience with in-home euthanasia; however, I will never euthanize another pet in a veterinary clinic again unless the pet's condition is so dire at that moment as to give me no other choice. Dr. Clem was very calm and compassionate from the moment she arrived until the moment she left, and the whole experience for Loki (and me) was as gentle as it possibly could have been.

It was Dr. Sarah Clem coming into our home, letting me provide the last loving thing I could do for my little Peanut Buddy. She understood the moments belonged to Buddy and me. She provided a gentle loving hand to both of us throughout. Nothing takes away the pain of saying a last goodbye. The hollow in the house now is wrenching. Utterly. But having those final moments in the comfort and privacy of home allowed the experience to be completely personal to our life together.

I highly recommend the service offered by Peaceful Passing / Coda Pet. Dr. Sarah Clem is gentle and kind, and truly helped make our very sad and difficult time of having our beloved of old dog euthanized. She arrived on time, greeted our dog with patience and gentleness, and without rush, asked for our consent before proceeding. Dr. Sarah was like an angel. So kind & Compassionate. She took all the time we needed and was so caring. It was 3 weeks ago this afternoon that we said goodbye to Angie. Angie was 21 years old and my Constant Companion for 18 years. Dr. Sarah made Angie's leaving so graceful and without pain, she slipped away. Our appreciation is boundless.

Dr. Clem made one of the worst days of my life just a little bit more bearable. I didn't have to think or really talk, she handled every step perfectly. I got my Lola back quickly and personally delivered. I hated having to make this decision but I am SOO thankful I chose Mr. Clem.

This was the first time we ever tried an in home service and we were so anxious. We wanted our girl to feel safe and comfortable in her home, surrounded by her family. We did not know what to expect, and Dr. Sarah Clem exceeded any expectations we could have had. Dr Sarah was kind and took time to get to know us and listened while we shared stories about our girl, Emma. She was patient with us and gave us time to say goodbye at our own speed. She never rushed us. She explained the process and welcomed any questions we had. She provided comfort to us and she gave that same comfort and care to Emma. We will always be appreciative of Dr. Sarah and the love and care she gave our sweet girl.

Dr. Sarah was amazing, compassionate and very knowledgeable! She made one of the toughest days a little bit easier with her kind words and empathy towards us! She reassured us every step of the way and gave us all the time we needed with our baby before letting him cross over the rainbow bridge. I would recommend her to anyone going through the same situation and from a pet owners perspective it was a much better experience than we had when we had to put our 1st dog down at a vet's office.
