Her love of animals and interest in medicine led her to pursue a lifelong endeavor of serving animals and people. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University and went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her journey to becoming a vet began when she was 14 years old and took a job at a veterinary clinic, which ultimately solidified her dream of caring for animals and giving a voice to those that cannot speak for themselves.
