After earning her undergraduate degree from Centenary College in 2014, she went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at St. George’s University in 2019, finishing her clinical year at the University of Pennsylvania. Her early career in emergency medicine gave her a strong foundation, but it was her own personal experience with in-home euthanasia that led her to this deeply meaningful work. You’ll feel Dr. Guerrero’s empathy immediately. When her own hospice kitty was ready to pass, she chose to say goodbye at home—on the couch her cat loved most. That moment became a turning point. She realized how comforting and healing it can be for pets and their families to say goodbye in a familiar space. Since then, Dr. Guerrero has made it her mission to offer that same peaceful experience to others, helping your pet cross the rainbow bridge surrounded by love. Outside of her veterinary work, Dr. Guerrero enjoys life in Savannah, GA, where she loves being outdoors, especially at the beach, and playing soccer. She shares her home with four cats—Chorizo, Vienna, Pepperoni, and Alien—and Leo, a lovable rescue dog from the Caribbean. Her goal is simple but profound: to honor your pet’s memory by ensuring their passing is gentle and serene.

Dr. Victoria Torres earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. A Pennsylvania native with strong family ties to Georgia, she and her wife have fallen in love with the charm and sense of community in Savannah, which they are proud to call home. During the week, Dr. Torres provides care at a local veterinary hospital and partners with Renegade Paws Rescue, supporting pets and families throughout the community. At the heart of Dr. Torres’s work is a belief that improving the lives of people begins with caring for the animals they love. Her passion for in-home euthanasia grew from personal experiences with human hospice care, witnessing loved ones pass peacefully at home. She views humane euthanasia as a profound gift—one that offers comfort, dignity, and peace during a pet’s final moments, surrounded by familiar sights, sounds, and loved ones. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Torres enjoys camping and hiking, board games, and spending time with her own menagerie of animals. She also runs a local animal nonprofit, Barkus & Meoux Savannah (BMS), which is dedicated to helping families facing financial hardship when a pet needs urgent medical care—further reflecting her deep commitment to compassionate, community-centered veterinary care.
