Outside the veterinary realm, I enjoy golf, fitness, the beach, traveling, trying new restaurants, and quality time with loved ones. I share my home with my fiance and two cherished rescue pets: a gentle 14-year-old dog named Beaker and a spirited 3-year-old kitty named Churro.

Dr. Jessica Mumm is dedicated to supporting families through one of the most emotional parts of pet ownership: end-of-life care. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2016, she has practiced in various capacities, including companion animal clinical care, in-home pet euthanasia, and preventative care. With a background in community outreach and professional services, Dr. Mumm brings a wealth of experience to her work, ensuring compassionate, personalized care for both pets and their families during these sensitive moments. Believing that our pets offer us unconditional love and grounding throughout our lives, Dr. Mumm understands the importance of giving them a peaceful and dignified passing in the comfort of their home. She recognizes that in-home services provide a familiar and relaxed environment where pets can feel at ease, and their families can be present for a comforting farewell. Her goal is to make this final act of love as gentle and respectful as possible. In her free time, Dr. Mumm enjoys yoga, exploring the Twin Cities' vibrant restaurant and brewery scene, and spending time with her orange tabby cat, Hershel. She is passionate about continuing to provide meaningful in-home care to pets and their families, helping them navigate this difficult, but important, final chapter.

Dr. Keri Wasmoen is a compassionate veterinarian dedicated to caring for animals and their families. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences in 2012, and earned her DVM from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Born in Oklahoma, but a Minnesotan since she was four, Dr. Wasmoen always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Staying in-state for her education was an easy decision, allowing her to serve the community she loves. She met her husband during veterinary school, who provides emergency veterinary care in their area. Their lives truly revolve around a shared love for animals. Dr. Wasmoen’s passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age, inspired by her experiences on her aunt’s farm in rural Nebraska. Over the years, her summer stays at the farm deepened her commitment to animal care and advocacy. After more than five years in general practice, she found her calling with in-home euthanasia. This service allows her to combine her veterinary skills, compassion, and empathy to provide a peaceful and kind experience in the privacy of a home setting that is comfortable for both pets and pet parents. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Wasmoen enjoys a variety of interests, including hiking, camping, bonfires, gardening, and golf. Most recently she has started horseback riding lessons. During the colder months, she enjoys reading, painting, and tabletop games. Passionate about travel, she is currently learning Italian with hopes of visiting Italy someday. At home, Dr. Wasmoen cares for three pets: Darjeeling, a foster-fail cat; Balor, a one-eyed Siberian cat; and Archibald (Archer), a mixed-breed dog adopted during COVID. She also fosters cats and kittens for a rescue organization, providing a safe haven until they find their forever homes. Dr. Wasmoen's dedication ensures the difficult time of saying goodbye to a beloved pet is as gentle and respectful as possible.

I grew up in Pasadena, CA. I attended undergrad in Maine and majored in Sociology, and then completed a pre-veterinary program through LA Pierce College. In 2010, I moved to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. I served as the president of the student organization SIRVS, which ran no-cost veterinary spay/neuter and wellness clinics on White Earth and Leech Lake Reservations. I have spent the last decade honing my veterinary skills at two small practices, specializing in internal medicine, pain management, and feline medicine. I expanded the medical modalities I offer beyond Western Medicine by studying Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture under Steve Marsden, Nate Heilman, and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). Currently, I also provide volunteer veterinary care to the pets of unhoused and indigenous communities in the Twin Cities.

I believe that every pet deserves a "good death"—one that is as peaceful and filled with love. My journey to becoming a veterinarian was actually driven by this specific mission: to provide a stress-free, pain-free transition for animals in the place where they feel safest. I grew up on a hobby farm in a small town south of Green Bay, Wisconsin. My very first pet was a chicken, and they still hold a special place in my heart! After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009, I spent time in Chicago practicing emergency and exotic medicine, caring for everything from dogs and cats to reptiles and birds. Later, I served as the Medical Director for the largest wildlife rehabilitation center in the world. In that role, I managed the care of over 22,000 animals a year. It was there that I truly found my calling. I dedicated myself to refining euthanasia protocols, focusing on how to give even the most high-stress wild animals a calm and dignified passing. And then educating others in the field on how to do this. Because I am also a life coach, I approach every home visit with a deep sense of empathy and authenticity. My goal is to ensure your pet’s final memory is one of comfort and home, honoring the beautiful bond you’ve shared until the very last moment. When I am not helping families, I am often still teaching, writing, or helping wildlife.
