The total cost includes the in-home pet euthanasia service fee, any travel fee (if any apply), and a platform fee. Additionally, depending on your choice, fees may apply for cremation services or keepsakes.
During your appointment, your vet will confirm your aftercare selection with you. If you choose to arrange cremation services, your vet will oversee your pet’s transportation to a local facility for cremation. If your preferred cremation option includes the return of your pet’s ashes to you, your vet will discuss the process to reunite you with your pet's ashes and the anticipated time frame during your appointment
Yes, upon arrival the veterinarian will assess your pet. This can look different than an “nose to tail” examination in a clinic setting and will focus more on the pet’s history and quality of life.
It is not uncommon to have doubts about whether the time is right. If you’ve taken the Quality of Life Questionnaire and are still unsure, we recommend consulting with your family veterinarian before scheduling an appointment.
Rest assured, if you book an appointment, your in-home euthanasia veterinarian will let you know if they do not believe that euthanasia is appropriate at this time.
You can expect your veterinarian to be in your home from 20-60 minutes, depending on how much of that time you need or want throughout the process.

Thank You Coda Pet, For the excellent job they did in a painful Moment because she won’t peaceful not in pain and the doctor was Amazing Thank You so Much For You support for helping me through this difficult Moment. I will recommend if someone need your services. I will recommend it Thank You. God bless.
This was the hardest decision we had to make, to put our Sugar down. Dr. Devlin came to our home where it would be more comfortable for Sugar and us. He was very kind, caring and empathetic. He took his time to explain everything and asked if we had any questions. I can honestly say, I am grateful we did this at home. It was very peaceful for our Sugar as well as for us.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from CodaPet and all I knew was that I didn’t want to go to a vets office to have this done. Dr Lisa Littejohn was so compassionate. I didn’t feel rushed and I truly felt like she cared for me and my sweet Maltese. Thank you for making a really hard time into something that was manageable to get through.
Dr. DuBose did super in the way she handled my pet. One would think it was her own pet. My pet was very calm around Dr. DuBose. She allowed me to hold my pet on my lap and I was able to show my love to my pet while Dr. DuBose performed the necessary procedure. I recommend her to anyone needing a professional, kind and compassionate Dr.
The vet went above and beyond. I hoped my dear Daisy would pass on her own, unfortunately that was not able to happen. The in home pet euthanasia experience was incredibly comforting for both me and my dog. Dr. Kit Warren seemed to have known us for years. In such a sad time I felt comforted and a peace that has lingered in the days following. I am extremely grateful for the last memories I am able to cherish. Thank you so very much.
The best decision we ever made! We didn't have to take our dog to the vet; something that he and we didn't enjoy. We and the kids were all able to be there as a family and send our beloved off with gentle love in his own home without any stress or strain, as our final act of love. Dr. Megan Duvall is an exceptionally fine veterinarian. Her experienced and loving touch was marvelous. Our regular vet didn't have any facilities that could compare to our own home; and would have charged us nearly the same price. We are so glad that Myles (our Border Collie) was able to pass away in his own bed surrounded by his family! This is a no-brainer folks! We are so happy that we found Dr. Duvall!! Thank You!!
