Verified Veterinarian
Veterinary medicine has been a passion since my teenage years after I experienced the traumatic loss of one of my own pets. Our pets play incredibly important roles in our lives and the human-animal bond is often as strong as our bonds with other loved ones. The loss of a pet can be very difficult. I have always been gifted to be with people who are suffering and I believe this unique skillset of medical and soft skills provides me with the ability to serve clients who desire in-home euthanasia services.

Dr. Suzanne Causey was exactly who and what we needed her to be for our dear Skyler. She was timely; in and out professionally and conscientiously. I especially liked that she had a helper at the ready to assist in transporting Skyler. I also liked that the next morning, Skyler came back home to us with the proper dignity. This is our second friend we had to say goodbye to, and will always remember how well coda pet has treated us. Thanks again, Dr. Causey. I know it isn’t an easy job, but it takes a certain humanity to see that it is done compassionately.Shane Barnes
Dr Suzanne Causey is very compassionate and does a great job with explaining the process. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to help our pet transition. She made sure everyone was comfortable and went at our pace. My family is very thankful to have found her.
Dr Casey made the transition for our Bella in a very gentle and compassionate way. She made sure we were involved in the transition process in a very respectful manner. Her professionalism came with a heart. We are grateful she was able to ensure Bella was given the respect and dignity she deserved. She helped make the transition compassionate and we are very appreciative of her services.
Dr. Causey showed genuine caring for our dog Luna. Dr. Causey examined her and agreed it was time for her to pass. That eased our anxiety over the timing of this event. Dr. Causey was very gentle and loving to Luna during the whole process. Even after Luna had passed Dr. Causey adjusted her position so Luna looked more comfortable for the trip back to Dr. Causey’s office for cremation. Dr. Causey informed us what to expect at all times during the event. It is truly a gift to be able to hold our beloved pet and her feel our love as she passed.
Our vet was very caring and considerate towards our dog. She took her time and made our dog feel comfortable. Truly appreciate her efforts.
Dr. Causey was everything we could have hoped for in such an unbearable moment—gentle, compassionate, and incredibly understanding. She never rushed us. She gave us the space to hold our boy, to love him, to cry, and to say goodbye in the most dignified and loving way possible. Because of her, Jack’s final moments were filled with warmth, comfort, and so much love. Saying goodbye will never be okay—but I am forever grateful that Jack was able to leave this world surrounded by the people who loved him most♥️🐶🌈
