Verified Veterinarian
Growing up I always new that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I do not remember ever considering another career. After graduating veterinary school I initially went into equine practice, and actually completed an equine surgery residency in Leesburg, VA. However, after having my daughter in late 2022, I knew I needed to change career paths. Providing in-home euthanasia allows me to provide personalized and vital care to owners and pets in my area while supporting a family-oriented lifestyle.

I’m was absolutely pleased with our decision to go with in home pet euthanasia. Dr. Lowman was incredibly thoughtful and her serene presence felt nothing but adequate to what we needed. It was a moment of deep bonding with my family and my kitty that will be forever missed.
After 16 wonderful years with our beloved dog, Mickey, it was time to say good bye. We chose in-home pet euthanasia with Codapet. Dr. Megan Lowman was so kind, comforting, and expertly managed this difficult day. Although this was a very sad day, we are so thankful that Dr. Lowman helped us provide a peaceful end.
Dr. Lowman was communicative and extremely supportive during this difficult time with our dog, Lincoln. She explained the whole process and answered any questions we had. She also showed her kindness by following up and asking if we needed anything.
During such a difficult time recognizing that our 12 year old lab had reached the end of his life, we were comforted to find an option for in home euthanasia. Dr. Lowman was incredible kind and compassionate. She explained the process and made sure we were ready and had time to say our goodbyes.
Dr. Lowman is very kind and caring. She helped us get through this difficult parting with support and understanding. She was also kind enough to return at a later date in with Blu’s urn. We will always be grateful for her helping us during this emotionally painful time.
Dr. Lowman was so comforting during our rainbow appointment for our dog Teddy. She was professional and friendly throughout the visit. I’ve been recommending Dr. Lowman and codapet to anyone considering their options. My family and I had a lot of closure and a big part of that is because of Dr. Lowman. Thank you again.
