Verified Veterinarian
I have spent the majority of my career as a spay/neuter veterinary surgeon, helping thousands of animals live healthier lives while also reducing the number of unwanted pets. That work taught me the importance of compassion, prevention, and service to both pets and their families. Over time, I felt called to focus on another important part of veterinary medicine—end-of-life care. I believe every pet deserves to pass peacefully in a familiar place, surrounded by people they know and love. When I’m not working, I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and camping with my four-legged best buddy Hopper, visiting my son at Clemson, who is continuing the Tiger tradition, and spending time with my daughter, who is a senior in high school. I know personally the comfort and joy animals bring to our lives, and it’s so important to honor them with dignity and love at the end. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside families during such an important time. My approach is guided by empathy, compassion, and respect—for both the pets and the people who cherish them.

Dr DuBose was so thoughtful, caring and patient. She didn't feel like a stranger, but more like an emotional support for us during such a traumatic time.
Saying goodbye to my soul dog, Nosie Rosie was the hardest goodbye. Despite my hurting heart, Dr Laura came in like a warm hug. She immediately felt like an old friend, so calm, and caring and loving! She took her time and never made me feel rushed. It was the hardest but most beautiful goodbye and I’m so grateful I had Dr Laura to walk me through the process.
We were very fortunate to have found Dr Laura. She made a difficult situation a little easier. She was so kind and compassionate to my husband, myself and of course our boy Gibbs. We didn’t feel the process was hurried as she took the time to make us and our boy comfortable and that we understood what would be taking place. Thank you, Dr. Laura, for being the one to help our Gibbs cross the rainbow bridge. Dan and Connie
Dr. Laura was the best. She was so compassionate and explained the details and how my girl would go to sleep peacefully. There was no rushing to take her away from us until we all had a chance to say our goodbyes and we were ready. I thank God for people like Dr. Laura that understand Sophie wasn't just a dog that she was part of our family. Being with my girl while she went over the rainbow bridge was the least I could do after all the unconditional love she gave us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use her again.
Dr Laura was kind, empathetic, and very patient with my elderly mom and the euthanasia process for her 18 year old kitty. There is nothing easy about losing our family pets. The service provided by this group of vets is invaluable in the grieving process. We had used this same company 3 months prior for our 15 year old dog and we experienced the same compassion and care. The sense of comfort and peace for everyone involved is priceless. Thank you for such a beautiful service!!
Kind, caring, understanding, compassionate, patient and professional. These are just a few words to describe Dr. DuBose. She explained everything in detail about the entire process. She let us take our time deciding when to start, and when to move forward to the next step. She loved on Dixie like she was one of hers. She treated Dixie with care, love and respect. I have nothing bad to say about any of our experience with Dr. DuBose.
