Dr Neri was Sam's previous vet before she joined codapet. I knew from history Dr Neri is a calm, caring, and knowledgeable vet. The process was not easy but Dr. Neri made it so we understood all the steps. She gave us time when we needed it. I can not express how much calmer and less stressful the in home process was compared to going to a vet. Sam was treated with respect every step of the way.

Dr. Kelly was early which gave our family and pet time to acclimate to her presence. She was patience as one of my children were behind schedule. My pet warmed up to her quickly and the cheese whiz didn't hurt lol. Dr. Kelly explained everything she was going to do before she did it. She gave us plenty of time to spend and snuggle with our pet. The process did not feel rushed. She was so kind, considerate and compassionate. Our beloved Halo, a full bred Australian Shepherd & who was considered by us a very much loved member of our family was laid to rest by Dr Kelly Neri on Thursday, March 27 2025 at 7:00 PM. My family and I cannot thank Dr Neri enough for her deep compassion, flexibility & lightning speed responses to reschedule due to my husband’s own cancer chemotherapy & radiation appointments, and going far & beyond what my family & I ever imagined an in-home vet would do. About a week prior to Dr Neri’s visit to our home, Halo’s soft tissue sarcoma on her right front leg worsened, she began bleeding from her butt, necessitating doggy diapers etc. Of the many competing in-home vet services, my sister-in-law found Dr Neri & the CodaPet website & I quickly called and spoke to Dana who was also so compassionate & kind as is Olivia, another team member. What my family will always remember about Dr Neri is that she is not on a time table but so very patient & accommodating, such as allowing our entire family, including my 9 year old grandson who took Halo’s passing especially hard, for us to show our love and say our goodbyes to Halo’s earthly passing. We also will never forget that Dr Neri while Halo was under anesthesia told us that Australian Shepherds & German Shepherds are fighters & that sometimes it takes 1/2 hour or longer for them to pass…our beloved Halo passed on to a better place in about 10 minutes…our precious little Halo was ready. In addition, we could see the tears in Dr Neri’s eyes too. As Christians, we saw the same compassion & love that Jesus has for all of his creations & animals too. Moreover, we were concerned about how our only daughter who was already exhausted from digging Halo’s final resting place/grave would be able to carry Halo’s container filled with her favorite toys, Christian contents etc into our backyard following the city of Cary’s burial instructions for pets. Well, Dr Neri helped my daughter for over 1 hour to help her. When I offered Dr Neri to pay her extra for helping my daughter, she declined, saying instead to purchase something for my 2 grandchildren to help them with their grief in no longer having Halo’s unconditional love & earthly presence in their lives… truly, Dr Neri’s goodness is beyond measure. I had to make the very difficult decision to put my sweet pup dog Ava to rest. She was diagnosed with a mammary tumor back in July 2024. I searched around for a local in home euthanasia and scheduled with Dr. Kelly Neri. I then canceled early that morning hoping I could have one last weekend. Unfortunately she wasn't able to keep any food or water down and I contacted Dr. Kelly late Friday near midnight. I'll forever be grateful to you for going out of your way late on a cold night to help Ava finally be at piece without suffering. Dr. Kelly Neri was wonderful. I had expressed concern about giving Pikachu his sedative too fast and causing him to flinch, as had happened with another cat at a hospital, and she understood our concern and was so gentle and kind. She had my daughter offer him a Churu treat which she allowed him to enjoy for some time before slowly injecting the sedative. He quickly fell asleep with no pain at all. After then, she injected the euthanasia agent. He had no pain and no discomfort. Doing this in our home, on the couch of his choice, meant he had no stress, no metal tables or yapping dogs to disturb him and cause him anxiety. I plan to hire Dr. Neri again when it is time for my other cat to go. We all miss Peaky terribly, but know we made the right choice in using Dr. Kelly Neri and CodaPet.

Dr. Neri let us take the time to play with Annie before starting the process, which she was also very patient throughout. After the euthanasia, she let us spend extra time holding Annie, getting some of her prints, and letting us say some final words before removing her from the home. When you find yourself in an exam room at the emergency vet unexpectedly knowing you're going to have to say goodbye soon to your best friend, the last thing you want is to deal with logistics and scheduling and decision making. Our vet made it easy for us, hanging us a few brochure for vets that would come to our home - including CodaPet. We spoke with a triage person who set us up with a morning appointment with Dr. Neri so that we could have one last night together as a family. Dr. Neri was kind, considerate, and respectfully communicated timelines and what to expect. We prepared a place in our yard for Dizzy so that he could pass outside in one of his favorite places. Of course it started to rain as we were getting ready for those final moments but Dr. Neri was patient and flexible working with us as we didn't want to put him through the pain of relocating again at that point. Dr. Neri knew that we were uncertain we'd be able to make it all the way through the night before and offered to keep her phone on by her bed in case we needed her to come early. Fortunately we didn't, but what a relief to know she was willing to. Dizzy was comfortable with her and their interactions at the end. She was patient with our other dogs, and assisted us in one of the toughest times of our lives. We'll always be grateful.

Dr. Kelly Neri was a wonderful, caring, compassionate vet who made our in-home pet euthanasia experience as peaceful as it could be. We loved that she gave Pikachu a Churu treat to lick and let him lick it quite a while before injecting the anesthesia. Dr. Neri knew that we'd had a bad experience with one pet who had the anesthesia admitted too quickly, making him flinch. She was careful to go slowly. Then he quietly lowered his head a bit until she injected more, and he fell asleep peacefully. She caused him no pain whatsoever, and he was receiving love and attention right to the end. When she administered the euthanasia drug he was already sleeping. We are very grateful to her for making this painful experience as good as it could be. I'm also grateful that she had several openings the day we called and we were able to schedule for that day at a time that was convenient for all of us. I'd definitely hire her again.

Our connection with Dr Neir was one of compassion and empty. Our initial contact was to address any questions we had as a family . When arriving to the house her first thoughts were for Naboo to make sure we kept her as come, relaxed reducing any anxiety knowing that there would be someone new in the house. 10/10, will absolutely call them for all our pets in the future. The booking process, handling of our pet's remains, and the kindness, compassion, and care shown by the company was so far beyond what I expected. Our 17yo kitty declined in health practically overnight. She was good, then all-of-the-sudden she wasn't. We wanted her to be as comfortable and surrounded by love as possible, so we looked up at-home options. I'll never do it any other way now. Our Doctor was Dr. Kelly Neri, and I can't sing her praises enough. She was very adaptive to our and our kitty's needs. She made her so comfortable and carried her out after in a beautiful little basket with care and dignity. She seemed to know exactly when we needed a moment to grieve, she didn't rush or pressure us with anything. And she got us a perfect little imprint of her paw. Our kitty crossed the bridge in her own bed and we didn't have to do the hellish drive from the vet's office after. Afterwards, Codapet contacted our vet, and they handled our kitty's remains, delivering her in a beautiful little urn directly to us. Dr. Neri even sent a very thoughtful card after. The cost was less than we had to pay for our dog a few years ago, and overall the experience was as not-terrible as it could have been. They never once asked for a review, and I almost never write reviews. But this company has been so amazing during this time and I want to assure any pet owners that are looking at options that this is an excellent one. I am so grateful for this organization and especially Dr. Neri. It'll never be an easy hit, but they really softened the blow.

Dr. Neri is truly an angel. She recently helped me through the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do—saying goodbye to my beloved baby, Luna. Dr. Neri came to my home, which made an incredibly difficult experience just a little more bearable. We used Dr. Neri in September 2024 for the first time when we had to say goodbye to our fur baby. She was wonderful to work with, empathetic and kind. When it came time to call someone for our other fur baby during the holidays, Dr. Neri happened to be the vet available again. I didn't expect her to remember us, but she did, and she was just as empathetic and kind as she was the first time. She walked us through the process, gave us time to cuddle our babies, and helped our fur babies feel comfortable, spoiled, and loved as they crossed the rainbow bridge.
