Verified Veterinarian
I grew up surrounded by animals as my mother is a veterinarian. I would always go to her veterinary practice as a young girl. From the age of 4, I had always aspired to be a veterinarian. Although euthanasia is an inevitable part of our job, I want to be able to support owners and ease their beloved pet's suffering within the comfort of their home.

Our cat had reached the untreatable senior age of 18, and it meant a lot to say goodbye from the comfort of his home instead of taking him to the vet, where his last experience would've been stressful and upsetting for him. Interacting with Dr. Jessica was exactly what I was looking for during such a tough experience. Prompt, respectful, professional, and gentle. We thank her and CodaPet for their service.
My seven year old sweet girl was diagnosed with kidneys problem that has no cure and our best option thinking about her being in pain and suffering, we decided for an euthanasia, I know it can be scary and losing a pet is the hardest thing we will have to go through, but it was the best for her, she was in pain and not eating, drinking and using the litter box for more than 24 hours, I called so many in home pet euthanasia until I found CodaPet and they come the same day. Even if was a painful choice, Dr. Jessica DiGenova made it peaceful for my sweet Lexa and I got to held my cat in my arms through all the process and we are gave 10-15 minutes to say goodbye to Lexa even after she had passed, Dr. Jessica then brought in a beautiful basket to that Lexa with her. It was a very sad day and very painful for me and my family but Dr. Jessica was very helpful, calm and kind with us and my cat.
Dr. DiGenova was very kind and respectful and gentle with our boy. My parents were really reluctant in having him put to sleep but after seeing how careful Dr. DiGenova was and how peaceful he was at the end they truly believed they made the right decision. I can’t thank her enough. After when he was ready to come home from the cremation Dr. DiGenova brought him back home to us. Thank You!
