Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia
I became a veterinarian because I believe it is our responsibility as humans to care for animals who don't have a voice or much of a choice in their lives. Whether it's a wild animal, a farm animal, or a pet, we humans impact their environment and what happens to them. My mission is to make every animal I care for feel loved and safe in any situation. Throughout my career, I have had to euthanize many animals, which is never an easy thing to do. During this difficult task, I have developed a way to focus all my love and attention on the life of the animal, not the euthanasia. So that in this challenging situation, the animal feels safe and loved during this peaceful passing, and the owners feel at peace with the decision that has been made.

Let’s be honest- no one wants to make an appointment for this kind of service- however, it’s a part of life for pet owners. Dr. Cara was wonderful and supportive throughout the entire process. From communicating beforehand to learn more about my situation to the visit and aftercare, each step of the way she was caring. Cara was incredible at her job and full of peace and compassion. Just a few hours ago we had to say goodbye to a family friend’s dog. I was sad and nervous as to how the experience would go. We could not have had a better professional, kind hearted, empathetic person to help us with such a hard day. Cara was very communicative and talked us through the whole process. Our sweet dog we said goodbye to was completely at peace and serene through the whole experience. He had a history of being afraid of strangers and being aggressive but it’s as if he knew Cara was only there to help him and offer him peace and kindness. He instantly became friends with her. The whole process made me feel at peace and very cared for as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs at home euthanasia.
Dr. Cara was incredibly compassionate, professional, and caring! She cried with us, prayed with us and thoroughly explained everything to us! What a fabulous job she did at a time when we really needed her.
Great service on a terrible day. Very professional and kind. She let us reschedule to get one more day with our dog. She let us take our time during the Appt and even gave us a print of his paw as a keepsake. I would recommend this service to anyway having to go through this.
