Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

Dr. Arielle Walton became a veterinarian out of a deep desire to educate and advocate for those who can’t speak for themselves. Raised with a strong sense of service and compassion, she saw veterinary medicine as a way to blend science, healing, and connection, especially for families navigating the joy and challenges of caring for beloved pets. Over time, her work with senior and chronically ill animals revealed a sacred truth: helping a pet pass peacefully at home, surrounded by love, is one of the most meaningful acts of care a veterinarian can offer. Providing in-home euthanasia allows her to honor the bond between pets and their people in the most gentle, dignified way possible.

What pet parents are saying

Dr. Walton was so peaceful and kind (and very professional) while she put Sasha to sleep. It was a great experience, especially for a 23 year old who never went through this before. Thank you Dr. Walton

Dr. Walton was so kind and compassionate during our final time with Suri. The experience was amazing, considering the circumstances, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Thank you for making a difficult situation much easier on our hearts.

Dr. Walton was so compassionate and gentle with Buster. She made this very difficult day as peaceful as possible. She knew we loved him so much and even shed a few tears with us. I will miss Buster the rest of my life, but I am thankful we were able to honor him and give him peace after a very difficult illness. I would recommend CodaPet to anyone facing this heartbreaking journey. They really are so very kind and gentle. My family is so grateful.

Our family could not have asked for a better experience under the circumstances. Dr Walton performed her duties with the upmost empathy, sincerity and professionalism. She treated our Zoe like she was her own, clearly communicated the process, managed our expectations and allowed us the time and space we needed. We would recommend this service as the kindest way to say goodbye to your fur baby.

Arielle was a complete angel. Soft spoken, caring, informative, and gentle. Our dog of 16 years was able to stay in the comfort of her own home, in her favorite spot on the couch, surrounded by our family for her last moments on earth. It was a beautiful moment to be able to release her with such peace. Arielle was informative and understanding and willing to answer any questions we had. I am so grateful for this in-home service and the peace and comfort it gave our family at such a devastating time.
