Verified Veterinarian
After over 30 years of emergency veterinary medicine, I feel it is time for me to transition to another phase of pet care giving. Being able to humanely and lovingly let go of a beloved pet, when it is their time, especially in their home, is a gift.

Dr. Le Blanc was very kind and caring and immediately had a connection with our dog. She was responsive and communicated with us days ahead of our appointment. While in our home she thoroughly explained everything to us and answered all questions. Her love for animals and people is evident. Our dog was relaxed and passed peacefully. We were pleased she was there for us during a difficult time.
We can't say enough kind words about Dr. April. She is extremely kind and has a very calming presence. She really understands the grieving process and did everything possible to make for the most comfortable and nurturing goodbye possible. We really appreciate her great attention to detail every step along the way. She clearly has put in a lot of thought into making for a peaceful goodbye and taking all the best steps possible to help with the grieving process. Thank you so so much, Dr. April, for everything you do.
Dr. April immediately felt like part of the family. She was there to share wisdom, cry with me and was extremely professional. Thank you for making one of the hardest days that much brighter. I highly recommend her.
Dr April was the perfect person to guide our family through saying goodbye to our beloved dog. We could not have been more satisfied with April's compassionate care in our home. Highly recommend Dr. LeBlanc.
Dr. April Le Blanc is a kind, compassionate and wonderful human being. She sat with me as I went back and forth, unable to decide whether to put my 20-year old cat down. I ultimately decided it was time and she expertly and painlessly euthanized my little boy. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me through a very difficult time.
My kitty Zinnia was so stressed going to vets in the past, especially after having serious eye surgery, and many treatments, pills and ointments, which made her frantic at the vet. It was wonderful to find that she could be euthanized at home when the time came. I was so grateful that Dr. April Leblanc from Coda Pets could come to our home and put Zinnia to sleep very peacefully while she was lying on my lap. She also had time to speak with me before she came out, and before the process when she arrived at our home. As she described, the~two second sedative shot did cause her to jerk due to pain and made one small meow, but that was the only difficult part. After a handful of minutes, Dr. Leblanc then shaved, a little fur off her leg and inserted an IV to give her the medication that would make her go to sleep. receiving the medication did not bother my kitty at all and she passed away fairly quickly. Dr. LeBlanc stayed and chatted with us a little as I kept her on my lap. We decided to bury her in our backyard (at least 3 feet deep.) so I just held her for a while longer after the doctor left. Highly recommend! I doubt I will ever have another pet put to sleep at a vet’s office.
