I always promised my Bailey a peaceful and pain was ending, and that's exactly what happened thanks to Dr. Daniela. Dr. Daniela did something completely different from anything I had experienced with my other pets, and it brought me an incredible amount of comfort during one of the hardest moments of my life. In the past, my pets were given an IV in their leg before any pain medication or sedation. It was upsetting to watch because they were uncomfortable, fighting the process, and clearly stressed. With Dr. Daniela, my cat never even flinched. She used a gentle three step process that allowed my cat to peacefully cross the Rainbow Bridge in my arms without fear, pain, or the discomfort of needles and IV placement. First, she used a tiny needle to give him an opioid and pain medication in the scruff area. The needle was so small he did not even notice it. She then waited about 10 minutes, and during that time he was completely relaxed, comfortable, pain free, and calm. Next, when I was ready, she gave him a sedative with another very small needle in his back leg. Because he was already relaxed and on opioids, he did not react at all! Then, when I was ready, she administered the final medication. The entire process felt gentle, calm, and compassionate. Dr. Daniela explained every step with kindness and empathy, which helped me tremendously through my grief. I am completely at peace with how everything happened. Knowing my cat passed away feeling safe, comfortable, and loved in my arms gives me enormous comfort. After experiencing this level of care, I would never choose any other approach for my pets in the future. At end, Dr. Daniela brought out a really comfy pet bed lined with fluffy blankets to take my fur baby away. That made me feel even better about the entire situation knowing his last trip was exactly how he would have loved it to be.
I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. I can't express the gratitude to Dr. Jessica enough as she made this as peaceful as can be for all of us:) Thank you Dr. Jessica!
Dr Jen was such a blessing. She greeted us and Chief on arrival. She was reassuring that we had made the right decision. Terribly sad day that she helped us get through.
Saying goodbye to Zoey was one of the hardest things we’ve had to do, but Dr. Mills made the process as peaceful and comforting as possible. Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr. Devlin was an angel. Olsen was my soul dog, and after the vet visits, I knew it was the best choice to have him leave us in our home. Dr. Devlin made this the easiest transition we could have asked for. I received the remains in about a week and I very much appreciate Dr. Devlin and CodaPet for making this very hard time as seamless as possible.
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
Dr. Dzierga was so patient, kind and reassuring when we had to say goodbye to our cat, Patches. She explained everything she was doing and asked permission at every step to make sure that we were ready for her to continue. Dr. Katie was amazing and showed the exact kindness we needed during such a hard time. It was so important for us to spend our Gracie’s last moments at home and she gave that to us. I couldn’t recommend CodaPet and Dr. Katie enough and have already given her card to a few co workers. Dr. Laura was very kind and came all the way out to our farm to help our German Shepherd go to sleep peacefully in her own bed. She was well prepared and explained everything to us in detail the night before our appointment and explained everything that would happen after she arrived at our home. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
We had to make the extremely difficult decision to euthanize our beloved fur baby Bleu (our Beautiful black cat) after a week back and forth and overnight stays at VEG due to the sudden onset of what was diagnosed as sepsis. He was diagnosed in September 2025 with an enlarged heart and had been on medication for that and seemed to be doing well. The onset of this illness coupled with the enlarged heart was too much for his little body to endure. It broke our hearts to put him through all the tests, blood work , and IV’s in an attempt to help him. He would not eat, drink, or take meds for 4 days in spite of our valiant efforts and just slept in the house in unusual places. We waited most of Memorial Day weekend to give him every chance to rebound to no avail and on Sunday we filled out a form for Dr. Lara Allison to do at home euthanasia. She examined Bleu and listened to all the reports about his medical issues and compassionately agreed that we were making the right decision. She explained every step of what would happen and left us time alone to say goodbye to Bleu. Her soft spoken, sympathetic manner was a blessing and she listened to our stories about Bleu. My husband and I sat on our porch (Bleu’s favorite place) as I held him in my lap and my husband rubbed his head and talked to him when Dr. Lara gave him an injection to calm him, and then the one that would send him in peace over the rainbow bridge. He just went to sleep forever in my arms. Dr. Lara left us alone with him and came back when we were ready for her to take him to the funeral home. She carefully put him with the blanket in a basket and took him to her car to drive him there. A beautiful, peaceful end to the life of our wonderful, beloved Bleu. A week later we received a sympathy card with a hand written note from Dr. Lara. She is a special lady, filled with compassion, understanding and sympathy for us when we needed it most.
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Throughout this very depressing process, Dr. Laura Smith did a wonderful job. Considering Abby’s situation, Dr. Smith made sure there was no pain or discomfort, and Abby passed without any stress at all. And further, Dr. Smith’s follow up has been very helpful and attentive. If there was a grade to be had, Dr. Laura Smith would receive an A+.
When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr. Stukey was absolutely amazing during one of the most difficult days of my life. Her compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for animals were evident throughout the entire in-home pet euthanasia process. She treated my dog, Pippa, with incredible dignity and gave us the time and space we needed to say goodbye. Being able to do this at home brought so much comfort. I am forever grateful and would recommend her services without hesitation. 10/10. ❤️🐾
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr. Murray was amazing. For not knowing our family and meeting us for the first time under stressful circumstance and hard decisions, he was incredible with our family. He was calm, compassionate, and empathetic to our families grief. Never felt rushed and he took his time explaining the process. Our time with Dr. Nakaya was a Divine appointment as she was the "grace" we had prayed for when it came time to say goodbye to our amazing, miraculous 20 year old blind and deaf cat, Ziggy. Her calmness, patience, and knowledge of acupressure points to hold to facilitate his struggle in letting go made a big difference. It was a spiritual experience for us and I believe, Ziggy. She was generous with her time, spending nearly an hour with us. She knew just how to make a difficult situation less painful and more meaningful. We wish we had known about her when all our cats were still with us and had issues. We would highly recommend her for all vet care!

This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! Dr. Shanina Halbert is a compassionate and professional veterinarian who came to our home to help us when the difficult time came to put our 17-year-old cat, Manuelita, to rest. The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.

Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr Meredith was very kind and very sweet. She explained every step of the process to me and I got to hold my kitty and talk to her and rub her until she passed.
I am so glad Dr. Vernon was available during our time of need. My fur baby crashed very suddenly and unexpectedly and it was a holiday and Dr. Vernon was able to come out on short notice and end my boys suffering. She was very gentle and kind and she asked nice questions about my fur baby, prompting us to bring up memories of the good old days of his youth. She calmly explained the entire euthanasia process to us and she made sure we had enough time to say our goodbyes and didn't rush things. She checked in with me the next day to see how I was doing and gave me updates on when I would get his ashes back, which she hand delivered herself. Saying goodbye to my best friend was the worst day of my life, but at least we were lucky enough to have a doctor that was so thoughtful and genuine to help us through the process.
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr Dover was so kind and informative. She made the process of Stormy crossing the rainbow bridge much more comfortable and her understanding of our loss was so comforting.

Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. My husband and I were so grateful for the kindness and compassion shown during one of the hardest days we've faced. Having our beloved cat Chaussettes peacefully cared for at home made an incredibly difficult goodbye much more gentle and comforting. Dr. April was patient, respectful, and truly caring throughout the entire process. She answered all our questions and let us proceed at our own pace. We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. Her compassion and professionalism truly made all the difference during this heartbreaking time.
Dr. Rizzo was perfect. She was calm and patient; as well as incredibly understanding. She explained the process so we knew what was happening and what would happen to our pet. Our dog is reactive but she was able to work around that issue. After our dog passed and was cremated, she made sure to pick up his cremains and delivered them to us. I was terrified that they would be shipped out and lost. Dr. Rizzo made sure our pup made it back home. We are forever grateful for everything she did for us and our dog. She also came very highly recommended by a veterinarian that used her services.
Lori was exactly who we needed to help with our dog Frank. Her compassion and caring cannot be overstated. We would highly recommend her to all our friends and family.
Dr. Somerset came on the same day we called. She was very friendly, compassionate and caring. She explained each procedure as she administered them.

Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
Dr. Keri was incredibly compassionate and handled everything with care. She was punctual and walked us through everything step-by-step and allowed us to take the time we needed.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support when we had to make the hard decision to free our Channie Boy of the pain. Rebecca met our nervous younger dog outside so she would be prepared for her coming into our home. She sat with us and gave us as much time as needed with our baby. Our Chance was nervous leaving the house due to his instability walking around so we wanted him to be home and comfortable. I would recommend someone coming to your home to help your baby cross the rainbow bridge a million times over. Thank you again. You made a difficult day much easier to navigate.
Dr. Le Blanc helped us get through a very hard experience with our cat. She was empathetic and took the time to explain every step. I really appreciate her. She was also patient with me and understanding as I had reservations leading up to the appointment. We’re very sad but we are also grateful to have our boy pass away peacefully in our arms at home. Saying goodbye to our beloved dog far too early was the hardest day of my life but Dr. Caitlin Klepper helped make a hard day incredibly special. The at-home service was exactly the environment our hearts needed to grieve and say goodbye to Phoebe. We had soft music playing, Phoebe was surrounded by all the people she loved dearly, and Dr. Klepper was so sincere, respectful, informational, and comforting. She walked us through each step and did it in our own time. I still replay the day in my head over and over again and as hard as it is, it was a day that was filled with so much peace as well. I highly recommend CodaPet if you’re able. The bedside manner that was displayed is one you pray humans get as well.
Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Thank you so much Dr.Todd in doing what has to be one of the world’s toughest jobs!
