Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. Dr. Alexander was very kind and gentle when helping my Kelsey transition. I really appreciate her explaining what to expect so that my kids would all be prepared for what they might see. She took great care with those last precious moments and while transporting her. Tonight she went out of her way to bring Kelsey’s remains back to us so we could finally be reunited. Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.

Dr. Salerian was so very sweet and empathetic. She makes you feel like a friend visiting, listening, and not rushing things. I had to make the difficult decision to end the pain and suffering of my 2 year old sweetheart cat, Mac. I really feel it’s harder emotionally and mentally having to make the choice rather then your fur babies passing away on their own , but Dr. Meagan definitely put me at ease. I wish I could write more to convey my thoughts better but of course I’m crying over missing my beautiful boy. So, as a pet owner from everything from dogs, birds, pigs, etc. I have personally referred Codapet and Dr Meagan to 4 different veterinary clinics, friends, and family in Southeast Louisiana!

Dr. Meadows is a very compassionate and caring vet. Fortunately, he was able to guide me through the most difficult day. I would recommend him for any services you may need for your fur baby. Two weeks have passed since I lost my beloved Sammie, who was 20 years old. Dr. Meadows reassured me during every step of the difficult process. Please know he is a very kind and comforting person.
Dr. Josh is a blessing to anyone that faces the very difficult decision to let their pet go. Home euthanasia was the perfect option for my girl Maddie. She was extremely fearful of strangers and Dr. Josh was sensitive to that and gave me the option to give Maddie her sleeping medication before he came into the home as not to cause her any stress. Dr. Josh was supportive and empathetic allowing Maddie and I to spend our goodbye time in a loving and caring environment. Dr. Josh was a gift I will always cherish and an important part of Maddies life story. It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.

It was really the best choice I ever made for good 'ol dog Bennie at 19.5 years old. Not only could the closest people to him be close to him in the comfort of his home, but his other fur friends could be there with him as well so they could understand why he left. This is one of the hardest experiences for those of us who adore our pets. For animals who are traumatized by car rides and vet visits it makes it all the harder to know their final moments are stressful. I was given Dr Thomason's name by our vet and opted for the in-home procedure. It was still a heart-breaking moment, but having Jojo in her usual place, on my lap, unafraid was a much more peaceful end to her life. Dr Thomason is empathic and caring. She didn't rush anything and took the entire process at my pace. I am so grateful for her calm demeanor. She made one of the worst moments in my life easier, knowing Jojo was not stressed in the least and her final moments were with her family in her familiar home. The paw-print card that arrived in the mail was so appreciated. I very highly recommend Dr Thomason for anyone who opts for an in-home euthanasia.

Dr. Kelsey Jones is an angle. We had to suddenly make a decision on a Saturday morning to put our 18 year old baby down due to worsening health issues. I was able to get an appointment in the later afternoon. Dr. Jones called a little before to speak with me and see if I had any questions. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.

Dr. Hundley was truly amazing. She came to help us with our dog Griff after working a 12 hour shift and on Thanksgiving no less. She was so compassionate and made a truly horrible moment slightly less so.

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.

Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Kristen was an angel at the time we needed one most. She came in to our house and reassured us we were making the right decision. We will always be grateful for her intervention at a time that we were so vulnerable.
Dr. Becca and her assistant Morgan were so kind and professional. This was the 1st time we helped a pet cross the rainbow so we didn't know what to expect but really needed to help our dog ease his way. Dr. Becca explained the process in a kind and gentle manner, it helped to feel their experienced knowledge. They addressed our dog in a personal manner and noted his cute special features, it was like talking to another pet owner. We were able to share anecdotes of our dog which made it feel like we were celebrating his beautiful life. They gave us plenty of private time to be with him before he was eased through the process. I felt like our dog was in the best hands when Dr. Becca swaddled our dog in a blanket and carried him away for cremation. After a beautiful life with us, Dr. Becca & Morgan's kindness and experience helped our 15+ yr. old dog Jimmy's life come in full circle. They came back in a week with the beautiful urn we chose with Jimmy's name engraved on it, and the paw print that was unexpectedly meaningful to me. They were so kind to bring flowers to honor Jimmy and saved us locks of his fur that I requested, after forgetting to clip some myself. I highly recommend Dr. Becca and Morgan to anyone in this difficult time. I am so grateful and feel at ease for how Jimmy crossed his rainbow. Thank You.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Michelli made our hard day much easier. She explained everything with such delicate detail. Just her demeanor was so calming. I feel like she was placed perfectly for us. It was a heartbreaking day but she gave us the peace we needed. I wouldn't do it any other way and glad our baby got to go over the rainbow bridge in our own home.
This was such a heartbreaking loss for us and Dr. Duvall was so caring and compassionate. She took the time to explain all that was going to happen and made us feel at ease knowing our baby would not suffer. This is one of the most difficult decisions we have to make and glad she was here to help us through it.
Dr Murray was the kindest vet we could have asked for. He was gentle and compassionate with our pup and our family. Can’t imagine a better way for our baby to go out. Being with her in our home where she was relaxed and happy to be with her humans. Thank you.
Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.

Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Lauren is very nice,she has helped us tremendously in dealing with Peanut’s loss. She is very knowledgeable and very caring. She even sent us a card after Peanut’s passing. We really appreciate her helping us in the difficult time that we had to let go of our Peanut. Thank you so much.

Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Houck or Coda Pets. Recently, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to my beloved dog, Reese.
