We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr Jen was excellent and I would highly recommend. She took the time to make all of us comfortable including our other dogs. She us compassionate, gentle, supportive and very calming in a seriously emotional situation. I do highly recommend her!
Dr. Matthew was so kind, compassionate and professional, helping make this difficult time just a little easier. Dr Yang was extremely respectful and thoughtful during such a challenging day. She explained the process and what to expect, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to Mocha. We were sent a handwritten condolences card after she passed and Dr. Yang even hand delivered Mocha's ashes to us when we expressed our street experiences package thieves.
Dr Litwack was absolutely wonderful, caring and kind during a terribly difficult time. He took his time waiting until we were all ready. He explained the process and everything went exactly how he explained. It was actually a beautiful process. Afterwards he was patient and comforting. Thank you Dr Litwack.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Michele Sims was incredibly understanding and compassionate to our dog. She explained everything clearly and was so very kind to Crackle. She arrived at our home right on time. I truly felt her sincerity when she said she was sorry for our loss; you can see that she genuinely cares for both the pet and the owner. I know this is not an easy job, but it is so deeply needed.
Dr. Sara Gardhouse came to our home on May 29th to help our sweet 16 year old boy cross over. She made sure that he was comfortable and at ease. He laid down next to her like he knew she was there to help him. She was so kind and gentle to him. She allowed us to say our goodbyes in private and when he was gone she promised us that she would take good care of him. We highly recommend Dr. Sara because of her professional qualities and love she has for our fur babies.
Dr. Katie Todd was so kind and informative. She explained the process and answered all of our questions. Our sweet girl is at peace and out of pain and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her.
When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support when we had to make the hard decision to free our Channie Boy of the pain. Rebecca met our nervous younger dog outside so she would be prepared for her coming into our home. She sat with us and gave us as much time as needed with our baby. Our Chance was nervous leaving the house due to his instability walking around so we wanted him to be home and comfortable. I would recommend someone coming to your home to help your baby cross the rainbow bridge a million times over. Thank you again. You made a difficult day much easier to navigate.
Dr.Lutri did An amazing job , Didn't feel rushed very comforting and careing on my hardest decision I had make , I will always miss my boy but I know hes not in pain no more. Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. Dr. Lisa, a retired veterinarian, brought a gentle presence and deep empathy into our home—qualities that made an unbearable day a little more bearable. Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
Dr. Dzierga made the saddest, most difficult time more than bearable for us. She explained all she was doing every step of the way, but most importantly she treated our dog with all the love and respect that we felt she deserved. She gave us the time we needed to say goodbye, she was kind and caring. This was our first in-home experience, and we wouldn’t do it any other way now. We felt blessed to have Dr. Dzierga with us on this saddest journey, and would highly recommend her to anyone facing this difficult decision.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. McWreath and the compassionate care she provided as we said goodbye to our beloved dog, Remi. This was one of the hardest days our family has ever experienced, but from the moment she arrived, Dr. McWreath treated Remi with incredible kindness, dignity, and respect. She took her time, explained every step of the process, and never made us feel rushed. Her calm, gentle presence brought a sense of peace during such a heartbreaking moment. Being able to let Remi pass peacefully at home, surrounded by the people who loved him most, was an immeasurable gift. Dr. McWreath showed genuine empathy for both Remi and our family, and it was clear that caring for animals is more than her profession; it is her calling. Although no one ever wants to need this service, I am profoundly grateful that Dr. McWreath was the one to guide us through it. She helped make an unimaginable goodbye as peaceful and loving as possible. Thank you, Dr. McWreath, for treating our sweet boy with such compassion and for giving our family the precious gift of a dignified, peaceful farewell. We will never forget your kindness.
She was professional, gentle, calm, soothing, helpful, explained everything, let me make decisions regarding the process, even soft temperament which is reassuring. It was so meaningful to me that she took my pet away in a pretty basket. She is absolutely wonderful in every way. I can’t think of a single little thing to nitpick about. I’m absolutely grateful that she was the one to be pets final vet. Thank you! 🥰
Very patient and kind. Will talk with you as if she had no other patients to attend to. Very comforting when our little guy was ready for doggy heaven. She never gave the impression she had other families that needed her at the moment and she took all the time we needed to get through the passing of our little man. She is the one we will always go to when the need is there !!
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Genuinely cannot recommend this service and Dr. Murray enough. Making that hard decision and saying goodbye to our Luna was extremely difficult… But having the option to keep her comfortable, where she felt the safest (her corner on the couch) during her last moments meant everything to us and felt like the very least we could do after the 12 years she gave us. Dr. Murray was extremely compassionate and thorough, explaining the whole process beforehand, as well as during each step. Our family can be a lot to handle at times so i especially appreciate how he was able to adapt to our dynamic in a way that didn’t feel forced. I don’t wish the heartache on anyone… but when that time does unfortunately come, I cannot recommend Dr. Murray enough.
Dr. Murray was incredibly compassionate, professional and a comfort during my goodbye to my soul dog. He explained everything clearly, and calmly, before and as it was happening, and did so with extreme care and consideration. The experience was as peaceful and beautiful as it could have been - my sweet boy said goodbye listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. I am grateful to Dr. Murray, for his clinical skills, and humanity, on a very sad day.

We are so grateful for Dr. Valentino. She put us at ease in such a difficult situation. She is so caring and demonstrated great compassion as she walked us through the difficult process of saying goodbye to our beloved pups. Their passing was very peaceful because of Dr. Valentino’s calm demeanor and kindness.
Dr. Schott was nice. It was an incredibly hard decision we made to put our finny down-but ultimately decided we couldn’t watch him suffer anymore. I was a hysterical mess because he was like my first baby-the first thing I ever cared for on my own. She came in to our home and listened and asked questions about our boy. She sent a card a week or so later bringing up the things we had talked about during our appointment. I’m sure that’s common but it just had made it feel more personal and I appreciated that she took the time to listen to us.
Dr. Katie Todd was so unbelievably kind & compassionate. She made an absolutely awful experience as peaceful & supportive as was possible. We are so grateful for her service.
Dr. Pilago showed so much care and compassion when we had to make the painful decision to put our handsome pup Rodney to sleep. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
My beautiful boy let me know it was his time on a Saturday morning. After multiple inquiries, Dr. Courtney had the earliest availability for late afternoon on Sunday to come to the house to put my baby to sleep. This was an ideal time so my family and I could say our goodbyes and spend what time we had left with him together. She did offer to come later in the morning on Sunday, if needed, but I kept the 4pm appointment. She arrived on time, was soft spoken, kind, compassionate, and took her time to explain the process, set clear expectations, and answer questions since this was our first experience with at-home euthanasia. She waited until we were ready before administering the sedative/anesthesia, and again with the medication to put him to final rest. She made his clay paw impression afterwards, so not to disturb him before since dogs typically don’t like their paws to be touched. And she then gave us time to privately be with him, and to let her know when we were ready for her to come back inside so she could place him on a stretcher to go in her car. We never felt rushed and he passed peacefully and overall a positive experience, given the circumstances, and gives me comfort during this difficult time. Incredibly grateful that my sweet boy was able to be in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones.
I hope you have 10 people just like Dr. Stadler. She is so professional, thoughtful and kind. She made a very difficult transition so much easier. I hope for the sake of your company you have 10 people just like her. I have recommended her to everyone I know.
Dr. Mitchell was wonderful. She was very caring with our pet and our family durning a difficult time. I would highly recommend Dr. Mitchell.
Dr. Devlin was an angel. Olsen was my soul dog, and after the vet visits, I knew it was the best choice to have him leave us in our home. Dr. Devlin made this the easiest transition we could have asked for. I received the remains in about a week and I very much appreciate Dr. Devlin and CodaPet for making this very hard time as seamless as possible.
Dr. Delia could not have been more compassionate in her work with me and my dog. Her presence, gentleness and pacing all contributed to a peaceful process at this heartbreaking time. Would recommend her to anyone facing the same situation.

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Dr. White was so kind and compassionate, explaining the process as it progressed, allowing us to make the decisions we could. She truly understood the bond we had with our boy. Dr. Miranda Collins showed great compassion toward my dog and to me & my grandson. She made sure my dog was comfortable and put us at ease before the procedure. I highly recommend dr. Collins for euthanasia. It’s a hard decision to make but she helped us with her compassion.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
Dr. Katie Todd was very sympathetic to our family as we had to have our beloved Cooper. She came on a Friday night after hours!! She gave is all the time we needed with Cooper to tell him our good byes. It was very private and Cooper deserved to have his last breathes in his happy place…HOME!! This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! Dr. Divine helped us get through one of the most difficult decisions we have ever had to make. She was so kind and caring . She made sure Nico was comfortable and truly was a blessing at a very sad time. It made the experience as comforting as possible. It was the final gift we could give our beautiful and so loved girl. Dave was absolutely amazing. It’s been just over 2 weeks and while we miss our girl more than ever, I am so grateful we went this route which provided her and all of our family so much comfort. Dave was so kind and polite and just truly the best person that could have come into our home to help us during this time. He was patient with us, let us talk as much as we wanted and he was so respectful and sweet to our Roo. He also made sure to give the other animals in our home love and attention as well. Overall Dave is personable and warm and truly cares about what your fur baby and your family are going through. Whenever our family may have to do this in the future, I hope Dave is still close by. If you have to make this hard decision, Dave is a wonderful person to walk you through this process.

It was such an impossible day … saying goodbye to my best friend. Still breaks my heart just typing that out. I was grateful to be able to do it at home and keep the final moments peaceful and calm. It meant everything to me. Elizabeth was present and calming, informative without saying too much, and deeply respectful throughout the process. I’m glad I chose her.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
This was such a difficult day for us losing our 6 year old boy. Dr Lewis was so comforting and helped make this horrible day, just a little better. She helped us understand that we were making the right decision. I can not say enough nice things about this Doctor. I would use her services for anyone thinking about making your pets last moments more peaceful.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona. Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.

We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
When it came time to make the decision no fur baby parent wants to make I found Coda and so glad I did. I found great peace of mind knowing there was flexible scheduling to make sure it was the right time and not just what was available. Knowing that my sweet girls last day would not be stressful from a car ride or being at the vet, she would be home, was a great comfort for us both. Dr. Houck reached out before to get some information and was so incredibly kind, friendly, helpful, and respectful. During everything she communicated everything that was and would happen and helped after with mementos. It’s hard to call one of the saddest days you’ll experience as good, but it was as good as you could hope for. I would choose Dr. Houck and having my sweet Evie pass peacefully in her home over again without question or hesitation.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. She is an amazing human and is excellent at what she does. I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr Delia.

In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
We had to make the extremely difficult decision to euthanize our beloved fur baby Bleu (our Beautiful black cat) after a week back and forth and overnight stays at VEG due to the sudden onset of what was diagnosed as sepsis. He was diagnosed in September 2025 with an enlarged heart and had been on medication for that and seemed to be doing well. The onset of this illness coupled with the enlarged heart was too much for his little body to endure. It broke our hearts to put him through all the tests, blood work , and IV’s in an attempt to help him. He would not eat, drink, or take meds for 4 days in spite of our valiant efforts and just slept in the house in unusual places. We waited most of Memorial Day weekend to give him every chance to rebound to no avail and on Sunday we filled out a form for Dr. Lara Allison to do at home euthanasia. She examined Bleu and listened to all the reports about his medical issues and compassionately agreed that we were making the right decision. She explained every step of what would happen and left us time alone to say goodbye to Bleu. Her soft spoken, sympathetic manner was a blessing and she listened to our stories about Bleu. My husband and I sat on our porch (Bleu’s favorite place) as I held him in my lap and my husband rubbed his head and talked to him when Dr. Lara gave him an injection to calm him, and then the one that would send him in peace over the rainbow bridge. He just went to sleep forever in my arms. Dr. Lara left us alone with him and came back when we were ready for her to take him to the funeral home. She carefully put him with the blanket in a basket and took him to her car to drive him there. A beautiful, peaceful end to the life of our wonderful, beloved Bleu. A week later we received a sympathy card with a hand written note from Dr. Lara. She is a special lady, filled with compassion, understanding and sympathy for us when we needed it most.
Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!
Dr. Alexander was incredibly kind and compassionate throughout the entire process of helping us say goodbye to our beloved dog of 17 years. She explained every step in detail, answered our questions, and made sure our wishes were respected and honored. This was one of the most difficult days of our lives, but Dr. Alexander showed remarkable patience, empathy, and professionalism from beginning to end. She treated our dog with dignity and gentle care throughout the entire process, which brought us great comfort during such a heartbreaking time. We are deeply grateful for the compassion she showed our family and would highly recommend her services to anyone facing this difficult decision.
Everything went very well with Dr. Guerrero. She let us take our time to say our goodbyes and then gave our cat the sedative. She got comfortable and sleepy in my wife’s lap and then went right to sleep when she got the IV medication. Would highly recommend.
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.

Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Thank you so much Dr.Todd in doing what has to be one of the world’s toughest jobs!
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. Her compassion and professionalism truly made all the difference during this heartbreaking time.

Dr. Sara Gardhaouse has an amazing aura about her. In such an Emotinal time she radiates warmth and kindness to help ease the situations hardness. I would gladly refer this company to help with the passing of any fur baby in their own home.
Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
