When we had to put our boy Louie down in August we had no idea where to turn. It was a Sunday morning, and no vets were open except for emergency vets, who knew nothing about our animal and likely didn’t care. Dr. Mary answered our call right away, took all the information about him and told us that she would do it whenever we were ready. There was no pressure, just a wonderful person who clearly loves her job and animals. When she arrived, she walked us through the entire process and gave us time to make decisions and didn’t make them for us. She was kind and gentle and even our old boy who doesn’t like new people was absolutely comfortable with her. I am so glad we made the decision to go with her. She made the process so easy and would def use her again if we are ever in the same situation. And then she asked us if we wanted to take a little bit of his hair and we did and then a few days later, we realized that we should have gotten a little bit more for some memory pieces. She very kindly mailed us as much as we wanted. Highly highly highly recommend.
Dr. Harper made an extremely hard day incredibly peaceful for my sweet Mr. Whiskers and me. I was very scared to schedule and had a lot of guilt but Dr. Harper made the experience deeply meaningful and grounded for my family. I’m so glad that my boy was able to cross over the way that he did thanks to her.

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. John Bruker for the kindness and compassion he showed our family when we had to say goodbye to our sweet Yorkie, Lulu. Her health unfortunately had continued to decline, I was desperately looking for someone who could help us that same day. I wanted nothing more than to make sure Lulu was surrounded by love in her final moments. Dr. Bruker and his team made a heartbreaking experience feel peaceful and gentle. The patience, understanding and dignity he showed Lulu and our family brought us comfort during such a difficult time. Dr. Laura was very kind and considerate when she helped our 13 y/o cat with cancer pass on. We appreciated her counsel throughout the whole process, and she put us at ease the moment we connected. She understood our concerns, listened to our requests, and answered all of our questions. Watson was a bright, intelligent, sassy tuxedo cat, and we miss him dearly. Despite the cancer, he was himself until the very end, and we are so grateful we had the chance to spend his last moments with us in the comfort of his home and in my arms.
Saying goodbye to my "baby" girl Shelby was one the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but Dr. Brandon Meadows and his assistant made the process as peaceful and gentle as possible. They were incredibly kind, compassionate, and patient every step of the way. They came bearing tasty treats to help make her more comfortable with their presence as we don't get many visitors. I am so deeply grateful that my girl was able to cross over the rainbow bridge in the comfort of our own home, surrounded by love, soft words and kisses. I cannot recommend Dr. Meadows enough for anyone facing this heartbreaking milestone.
I laid my baby “Precious Smith” to rest on Sept 29th 2026. It was by far the hardest thing that I have had to do. However, choosing to lay her to rest at home with family and having Dr. Perzak perform the procedure was a blessing. Dr. Perzak understood that Precious was more than just a dog or a family pet. She understood that Precious was and is family. Dr Perzak was very compassionate, patient, caring, thoughtful and most of all professional. I really appreciate her walking me through step by step was was going to happen and what she was doing while it was happening. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I was blessed to have Precious in my life for 10 years. She was there for me through all my ups and downs. I will never forget her and I can’t thank Dr. Perzak enough for all of her generosity and kindness through that difficult time. She was amazing. I would recommend anyone to give her a call if ever faced with the same decision. 💜
She was so very caring towards our dog and to our family. She treated our baby as if she was hers and when it was over she gave us time alone to say our goodbyes. She went beyond what we experienced at a time we had to let another one of our babies rest. She's the best.
Dr. Diana was wonderful! She made a very difficult process easier to handle. She spent time with Molly and me and didn't rush the process. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has to make this difficult decision.
Dr. Torres was amazing throughout the whole process. She made a devastating situation into one of peace, acceptance, support and warmth. Her communication with us was superb and we knew what to expect every step of the way. Having Roscoe surrounded by his family, surrounded by love, in the place he cherished and protected, was the only way for him to cross. I am forever grateful to Dr. Torres and the services she is able to provide. Dr. Torres was placed on this earth to share her art and practice of allowing animals and family members to share their grief and love in the grace of passing. She is a very special vet.
On Sept 18 we had to make the unfortunate decision to put our Great Dane, Maggie Blue, down. She had been having nose bleeds on and off for about the last 6 months. We had initially taken her to our vet who wasn’t exactly sure what was going on but we all surmised that there was probably a tumor somewhere. We decided because of her age, she would have been 11 in Dec, that we would just keep her as comfortable as possible. There were times we had a lot of hope as her appetite was still very good and the bleeding seemed to subside for longer periods of time. But on that day the bleeding just wouldn’t stop. I first reached out to a vet I knew who had put our other dog down at home 5 years earlier. Unfortunately, he was unavailable. I started searching online for in home pet euthanasia when I ran across CodaPet. I was able to book an appt online for the same day. After booking there was a pop up that asked if your pet was declining fast or in pain. As soon as I clicked that she was I immediately had a text from Dr. Laura who said she could come asap. She arrived within about 30 mins. I was so grateful. She was very kind and compassionate and made the whole process a little easier for us. We didn’t have the space to bury her so Dr. Laura was able to help with that too. If we are ever in that situation again I would not hesitate to call on Dr. Laura. God sent us an angel that day.
John Murray was very compassionate . I am really really having a hard time without my Big Girl Mya she was in my life for 12 years she was my baby I was relieved she was able to stay home and not go to the clinic
Dr. Somerset was very kind and respectful. This was our first time so we had no idea what to expect, but she explained every step and was very gentle with our baby.
It went about as well as a heartbreaking experience could possibly go. My 19 year old Kitty had pretty much squeezed every ounce out of his life and there wasn't anything left but fatigue and confusion and pain. It was time to help him go seek what I have faith are greener pastures. Dr Keri was kind and compassionate, and I so appreciate her service on this very sad day.

There really are no words for saying goodbye to a beloved companion, especially one who has been such an important part of your life. Hathcock was not just my dog—he was my family, my companion, and a part of my everyday life for nine years. When the time came, being able to say goodbye to him at home was something I will always be grateful for. He was in the place he knew, surrounded by the people who loved him, and I was able to stay by his side through his final moments. The compassion and gentleness shown by Dr. Haros to both Hathcock and me made an unbearable moment a little easier to bear. The in-home pet euthanasia experience gave Hathcock the peaceful goodbye he deserved. I will carry the love and memories of him with me always. Losing him has left an emptiness that words cannot describe, but I am grateful for every moment we were given together.
Very friendly and took time to make this a pleasant experience despite facing its time to end your pets suffering. I have had others that had health issues and took them to a vet which you sit in a room and then the dreaded drive home without your pet. This was so much better as it is in the comfort of their home with familiar surroundings. I was able to spend time afterwards to say final see you laters.

I cannot say enough about the kindness and compassion found in Dr. John Murray. Unfortunately, we had to have him help us with two of our pups just two months apart. As heartbreaking and difficult this has been, Dr. Murray has truly touched our lives in so many ways. From the moment he came to the door (both times), his calm and caring demeanor was an instant comfort at a very difficult and sorrowful time. His love and compassion for animals and people is evident and shows in every interaction. I have never met a vet with so much kindness and compassion. He was (and is) a true blessing.

Dr. Leatherman showed so much compassion during one of the hardest days of our lives. Having to let go of our boy Hunter after more than 13 years was absolutely heartbreaking, but Dr. Leatherman made a very difficult situation a little easier for our family. He never hurried us or made us feel rushed. He gave us all the time we needed to hold Hunter, talk to him, and give him a proper goodbye. Hunter was able to pass peacefully at home, surrounded by the people who loved him, in the same home he had known for over 11 years. Dr. Leatherman was gentle with Hunter and patient with us. He explained everything and treated our boy with kindness and dignity from beginning to end. We will always be grateful that Hunter’s final moments were peaceful, comfortable, and filled with love. Dr. Blake was kind and warm. She was flexible when we decided to move up our appointment to say goodbye to our little darling. Dr. Causey and the entire team affiliated with her provided so much comfort and remain so incredibly respectful of our grief and loss. The care and attention they provided our CoCo was heartfelt and appreciated! They returned our precious babe the next day and even in that their attention to our emotions were their priority. I only had one other pet who passed from cancer and wish she could have had the love from this experience as opposed to a cold bright vet office. I initially opted out of feedback when booking my appt but Dr Patterson was so amazing I can't help but leave her a positive review. She was patient, kind, respectful, and comfortable to have in our home on one of the worst days ever. She gave us space when needed and even the most skittish of kitties wasn't afraid of her. Dr Dover is such a special person. I am glad she was there to help us when it was time for Koda our Huskey girl to leave us for a while. Dr Dover is caring, sympathetic and professional. I cannot adequately express my gratitude to Dr. Keri for the extraordinary compassion, patience, and care she provided when it was time to say goodbye to my beloved Shadow. Shadow was a rescue with a history of trauma, fear, and significant reactivity. Although we had worked incredibly hard over the years to build her trust and help her feel safe, veterinary visits remained an enormous source of anxiety and fear for her. Exams and procedures typically required a muzzle, sedation, or other special accommodations. As we approached the heartbreaking decision to let her go, my greatest fear wasn't simply losing her. It was that her final moments would be filled with the same fear and distress she'd experienced during previous veterinary visits. More than anything, I wanted her to leave this world feeling safe, comfortable, and loved. But given her history, I genuinely didn't know whether that would be possible. Dr. Keri gave us that gift. From the moment she arrived at our home, she approached the experience with such gentleness, patience, and respect for Shadow's needs. There was no rushing, no unnecessary handling, and no expectation that Shadow needed to behave a certain way. She allowed us to move through the process in a way that preserved the trust and sense of safety Shadow and I had spent so many years building. Dr. Keri even had me administer Shadow's initial oral sedative myself, something I deeply appreciated because it allowed that part of the process to happen through someone Shadow knew and trusted. Later, when it was time for the sedative injection, Shadow was lying peacefully in front of me while I stroked her head, and when Dr. Keri administered the injection, and Shadow didn't so much as flinch or flick an ear. That was the moment I finally knew she was going to have the peaceful goodbye I had so desperately wanted for her. No muzzle. No restraint. No fear. Just my girl, comfortable in her own home, surrounded by love. I will carry the gratitude I feel for that experience for the rest of my life. I'm sharing this not only to recognize Dr. Keri's exceptional care, but also for anyone else facing this decision with a fearful or reactive pet. I know firsthand how frightening it can be to wonder whether a peaceful goodbye is even possible for an animal who struggles with veterinary care. I searched specifically for someone who could understand and accommodate those challenges, and I hope sharing our experience might offer another family a little reassurance during an incredibly difficult time. Dr. Keri gave Shadow something I wasn't sure anyone could give her: the opportunity to leave this world without being afraid. Dr. Murray showed such compassion, kindness, and understanding toward Fender and our family. Saying goodbye was the hardest thing my husband and I have ever had to do. Dr. Jasper made one of the most gut-wrenching experiences of my life feel as peaceful and beautiful as it possibly could have. He was incredibly gentle with both me and my pup, Lucky, and even made himself available via text beforehand to patiently answer my questions and reassure me. The process itself was peaceful, quick, and handled with so much care and respect for our wishes and emotions. His tech was equally kind, whispering sweet messages to Lucky as he passed. Dr Briell made our in home pet euthanasia experience calm and peaceful considering the circumstances. We had to put our 16 year old cat down due to nasal carcinoma. She walked us through the entire procedure very clearly and completely and ensured we were comfortable with everything that was going to happen. I cannot say enough about Dr. Mary. My poor Scrappy's health was declining due to old age. She explained the process to us with each step, she was so compassionate while everything was happening. It was not an easy decision to have Scrappy euthanized but she assured us that we were making the right decision because he was only going to continue to decline. It made the procedure so less stressful for Dr Bean coming to the home. I especially appreciate him having prayer beforehand. Once he began the procedure, my cat was out of pain in about three minutes or less. The whole thing took less than ten minutes. I'm so grateful that I had this option!!!
Dr. Katie helped our family through one of the hardest moments we’ve had to face. Dr. Karen Whala was such a kind vet during this difficult time. She took the time to observe my cat Oliver beforehand, and consider the best options to make his passing as comfortable as possible. My 10 year old girl was in active congestive heart failure that was being controlled by medication. One Sunday morning, we woke up and she was struggling to breathe. We knew it was time to say goodbye. I spent a good part of the morning trying to find an at home vet that was available the same day. I'm so glad I found CodaPet! It's taken me a while to be able to do this. An angel is how I would describe Dr. Perzak. The closer the time came, the more unsure I was. I didn't have anyone with me. When she arrived, her spirit was so calm and reassuring. She made sure I was ready before, during and after the process. She gave me and my other dog time to say goodbye to Whiskee. This is an impossible situation for any pet parent but I will never regret my choice of going with CodaPet and Dr. Klepper. Dr. Klepper was so kind and patient. She was so sweet to my Buddy making sure he was comfortable and she gave him treats even made sure they were soft for him. Buddy immediately gravitated towards her knowing she was there to help. Dr. Klepper was so patient and explained everything while also giving us our space and time we needed. Although our situation for needing CodaPet was a bad situation I don’t know what I would have done without them because this made me feel so much more at peace knowing Buddy was comfortable, he was loved, and he was happy and not scared until he got to “join the butterflies” like we tell my son. Dr Alaya provided exceptional service for both of our beloved doggies in just a couple months time. Our Chewie and Mazzy were our whole lives being with us for 15 years each. Dr Alaya was kind professional and instantly felt like family both times making the difficult time a peaceful one. Both our babies were sick and in desperate need of relief in short notice, Alaya was prompt and even changing her schedule to accommodate “their” needs. She definitely puts the pets first. We are forever grateful for the service she provided for our family.
Dr. Lara Allison was lovely. She came highly recommended by my neighbors for in-home euthanasia and sadly, that service was something necessary for my sweet cat, Cooper. He could then be at home where he is least stressed and take one last nap with me in the bedroom. Thanks for everything, Dr. Allison.
Dr. Kellie was so kind in a situation we thought we'd never be in. She was so thoughtful and really did everything with such care. We never felt uncomfortable, rushed, on display, or anything but true care and professionalism. She gave us time to spend with our girl alone and told us to take our time, then sent a hand written note to our home several days later. If you find yourself in this terrible situation, Dr. Ayle is the person you want to help your sweet one go.
I am so grateful that there are providers like Dr. Kellie who can do this incredibly hard work with such a kind spirit and gentle, loving hands. Our in home experience of saying our final goodbye to our Kingsley was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Dr. Kellie was easy to communicate with before, during and after as she helped guide us along with professional yet personable care for our loved one. This was our first experience with in home euthanasia but I can absolutely say now that it was the right choice for us. It was a much less stressful experience to be able to let our guy be comfortable in his own bed at home rather than be anxious in the noisy, cold, sterile enviornment of the vet's office. I highly recommend Dr Kellie and her service, she is truly a blessing.
It was a very difficult and sad decision to put my 19 year-old companion cat, Tiki, to sleep. I decided to do it in-home instead of driving him to the vet's office, traumatizing both of us, saying a hurried good-bye, then driving home trying to see through my tears. I found CodaPet on the internet and provided the information requested. Shortly thereafter I received a call from Dr. Christina. She was so kind. We set a date and time to say the final good-bye. On that date Dr. Christina arrived exactly on time. We visited a few minutes with Tiki. She agreed that it was time to take his pain away. As I held him on my lap she administered an injection to relax him. Five minutes later she gave another injection to sedate him. Five minutes later she gave the injection to stop his heart. He passed a few minutes later. She then gave me his paw print. She left the room so I could spend a few more minutes with Tiki. Then she brought in a basket with a soft blanket and pillow. She placed him in the basket, his head on the pillow, and covered him. He looked like he was sleeping peacefully. That is the last memory I have, and the one that comes to mind when I think of him. Tiki's passing was very peaceful. He was not upset at all. Dr. Christina was so kind and caring to both of us. She did not hurry the process, always asking if I was ready to go to the next step. I was very pleased with her and the process. She also gave me information to help me through the grieving process, and has kept in contact.
Our beloved Old English Sheepdog, George, left this world with pride and dignity. Surrounded by those that loved him most and that he knew always did their best for him. Sprawled on his favorite blanket with some classical jazz tunes in the background, George made the transition to a pain and stress-free place. I could not imagine having to accomplish such a difficult and the highly personal act of dying in a cold, austere, fluorescent lighted office. George lived in our home for 12 joy filled and entertaining years. IT is only fair that George be allowed his final hours where he was comfortable, confident and had a home field advantage. The process was pain free, and our vet Dr. Carolyn Benedetto explained each and every process we and George would go through. We even had a small, much needed laugh when we noticed the flowers in the rear of Carloyn's black SUV. George always liked to mark his spot on flowers in the garden. Although the process of "putting your pet down" is not a pleasant subject to discuss it is a fact of pet ownership. For us and George, HOME EUTHANASIA is the only way to go. Think about it, if you could die anywhere you wish, would you not like to pass surrounded by loved ones in a VERY FAMILIAR SETTING. Thanks you Carolyn for your patience, caring and understanding. Our experience was impeccable and we couldn’t have asked for a better and more comfortable experience for such a time of grief. Our family decided to do in home pet euthanasia for our beloved boxer-mix of 9 years. It was an extremely hard decision, but Dr. Keri Wasmoen reassured us that we did an act of love for our sweet Zoey. Dr. Keri was calm, empathetic and deeply understanding of how hard it is losing your pet. She did not rush, and explained throughly what each step entailed. Dr. Laura was very kind and considerate when she helped our 13 y/o cat with cancer pass on. We appreciated her counsel throughout the whole process, and she put us at ease the moment we connected. She understood our concerns, listened to our requests, and answered all of our questions. Watson was a bright, intelligent, sassy tuxedo cat, and we miss him dearly. Despite the cancer, he was himself until the very end, and we are so grateful we had the chance to spend his last moments with us in the comfort of his home and in my arms.
In such a difficult time, Dr Somerset was professional, caring, supportive, and so so sweet. It made a difficult decision so much easier. I could not have asked for a better vet to help say goodbye to my little love.
The death of your pet is such a hard experience. We were lucky that we could go through it in the privacy of our own home, with the time needed with Dr Amy. I highly recommend this service.
Incredibly emotional experience for me thankful to be able to be in a space where Milo and I were most comfortable at home. Would recommend it to anyone dealing with making such a touch decision.

We couldn't have asked for a kinder, gentler, more understanding person than Dr. Christine Divine to relieve our terminally ill cat, Beauregard, from his suffering. We were so grateful for her coming to our home and avoiding the unnecessary stress of a car ride and unfamiliar surroundings at that difficult time. The arrangements were made with no difficulty, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this service to anyone faced with this situation.
Dr Elizabeth was a comfort to me as well as to my 18 yo Mia Muffin throughout the painful process of two little old ladies saying goodbye. Mia was gentled into the sleep which ended her pain. I especially appreciated the loving care with which Mia was wrapped in a beautiful blanket and carried out on a pillow as she left, a respectful tribute to one who had been so loved.
We cannot express how grateful we are to Dr. Perzak for helping us through two of the most heartbreaking experiences we have ever faced. She was there for both of our beloved pets, just five weeks apart, helping each of them through a peaceful transition comfortably at home. Losing one was incredibly difficult, and having to face another loss so soon afterward was devastating. Through both experiences, Dr. Perzak was gentle, patient, understanding, and incredibly thoughtful. She made an unbearable moment feel as peaceful and comforting as possible, allowing us the time and space we needed with each of our pets. When we knew it was time for our second pet, there was no question about who we wanted by our side. We specifically asked Dr. Perzak to return because of the trust we had developed with her during our first experience. Having her there again meant more to us than she could ever know. She treated both of our pets with such tenderness and dignity, while also being there for us every step of the way. We will always remember the kindness she showed our family and the peaceful way she helped us through those final moments. Thank you so much, Dr. Perzak. We are truly grateful that you were there for both of our beloved pets and helped them through such a peaceful transition when we needed you most.
This is really hard, but Dr Lori took care of one pet for me in May and another one that suddenly became ill last night. I would recommend her to anyone.
