We're so grateful for the experience we had with Dr. Thomas when we had to say goodbye to our senior cat, Maica. It was incredibly painful to see Maica suffering from rapidly increased symptoms of her advanced kidney disease, and we weren't expecting to have to say goodbye to her at the time we did. Dr. Thomas was deeply empathetic and kind with both us and Maica, and during our appointment she gave us plenty of information and time to process both the procedure and Maica's passing. It means the world that we could spend Maica's final moments with her, making sure she felt safe and loved until the end. I would recommend Dr. Thomas to anyone who unfortunately has to make this difficult decision, and even though we miss Maica deeply, it helps to know she was shepherded on with such care.
Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
I truly believe people are placed in your life for a reason. This time, we were given an angel to help us through one of the most difficult moments—letting go of our girl Chi after 15 wonderful years. The entire process exceeded our expectations. Dr. John was incredibly passionate and caring about his work. He had great bedside manners and was there for me when I needed him the most, even on a Sunday when other home vet services weren’t available. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Perret was very kind as he helped my dear Abby-Jo cross the rainbow bridge. He took great care and compassion to explain the procedure and even though it was a sad day, it was made easier by his thoughtful and gentle professionalism. I couldn’t have asked for a better vet, and the fact that he came all the way to my home where Abby wouldn’t be scared or placed under any undue stress meant the absolute world to me. Anne was amazing. She was very caring and understanding. She help Daisy and I feel at ease during the entire process. She was willing to answer questions in a thoughtful well articulated manner. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr. Karen did an amazing job. She sat with the whole family to discuss memories and asked questions. She walked through the process step by step and handled our Family Pet as if it was her own. Can say enough about how she helped our family grieve during this difficult time. We didn't know a service like this existed and would highly recommend to any family during their difficult time of letting go.
Dr. Bailey was amazing and so supportive of our entire family as we dealt with putting Elsa to rest. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the respect she showed our dog. Elsa was happy as Dr. Bailey explained the process and eased her into receiving the medications. We are very thankful for Dr. Bailey’s support.
Dr. Katie Todd was so kind and informative. She explained the process and answered all of our questions. Our sweet girl is at peace and out of pain and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her.

Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Dr. Lara Allison was nothing short of amazing. What a bright light in such a dark period for pet owners! She was prompt and responsive and went out of her way to make both owner and pet comfortable. She brought treats for my dog and patiently stayed with me while I made paw prints and said goodbye. She handled transport of him for cremation. She was gentle and respectful . She genuinely cares. Dr. Le Blanc was very kind and caring and immediately had a connection with our dog. She was responsive and communicated with us days ahead of our appointment. While in our home she thoroughly explained everything to us and answered all questions. Her love for animals and people is evident. Our dog was relaxed and passed peacefully. Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. Jack immediately was attracted to John. Jack felt comfortable and at ease and John reciprocated. Jack was still aware and active but we knew it was time to let him go peacefully. John gave respect to Jack and loved Jack the entire time. I can't say enough about Dr Murray. Thank you!
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Dr. Doolittle arrived within 2 hours of contacting CodaPet on a Saturday. He was very caring and explained the entire process clearly. He took our Bella with him and she was returned to us in a beautiful cedar box less than a week later. Dr. Doolittle even checked on how we were doing a week or so later.
The team at CodaPet made all the difference in the world. The process was smooth and they were readily available to answer any questions. Dr. Katie Simpson was so considerate, gentle, and kind. She and her team made what was a very hard day a little bit better.
Dr. Katie came to us close to the Christmas holiday with an impossible task: putting our 13-year-old dog to rest just 3 days before what’s supposed to be the happiest day of our kids year. She walked them through the entire procedure and even included them in the process so they could properly understand what was happening to their puppy dog as well as help him go to the next phase. I can’t say enough on how compassionate Dr. Katie was and, while we certainly never want to have to do these things, people like Dr. Katie make it something to be honored and respected. We appreciate her so much and believe she has played an important role in our children’s lives by helping them with the loss of their first pet. We cannot recommend her enough.
Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona. I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. It took me a few days to write this because the pain of having to make the hardest decision I have ever made has just been difficult to deal with but I know I did what was best for my sweet Bella. My cat, my love, my soulmate, was aging and her health was declining and even though I did all the things I could do to make her life easier, it just wasn't enough. It is something I knew I had to do and have put it off many times but when I made the decision, I chose Coda Pet to relieve her pain at home. I cannot say enough kind words about Dr. Wolfingbarger. She came to home and was respectful and kind and very empathetic to my situation. She watched me literally fall apart and she kept encouraging me and telling me my baby was no longer in pain and at peace. Even though my heart is still breaking, I would not have wanted to experience this any where else than in the comfort of my home, of mine and my Bella's home. Dr. Wolfingbarger is a true blessing and I am beyond thankful for her service and commitment to our fur babies. Choosing in home pet euthanasia was the best decision I could have made for me and my Bella.

Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Dr Gonnering was very sympathetic and professional. We have two other dogs we wanted present and she handled them well to calm them and introduce herself. She has a very sweet presence and I feel my dogs were all relaxed around her . My youngest was a little cautious of her but ultimately took to her. Dr Kelli Bays was the exact doctor we needed for Gracie. She was perfect! Her gentle and calm demeanor, her ability to understand what Gracie and we needed at this difficult time, were priceless. Dr. Williams is an amazing individual. I have already decided to use his service again when it is time to put my other pet to rest. He was very courteous, professional, and caring. The process was so much more pleasant, and less stressful for both my pet and myself than other times when I had to take my pet in to the vets office to be put to rest.

Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Our need was dire, it was the week of Christmas and our beloved cat was dying. The vets we spoke to could only fit us in on Christmas Eve and we knew saying goodbye to our boy on Christmas Eve was not ideal. And then we met Dr. Alexander. She went out of her way to ensure we could say goodbye to our beloved cat before the holiday. She was kind, empathetic, and considerate. Her tone was compassionate while remaining precise in preparing us for what to expect. Afterwards, she ensured we had space to say our goodbyes, to grieve. She took our boy and after the holidays returned him to us personally, in beautiful box and kind note. Words cannot express how grateful we are for Dr. Alexander. We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! Dr. Randolph made an urgent visit to help transition our Bless. Although letting him go was difficult, home euthanasia was a far better choice than the vet office. Dr. Crozier was amazing. She helped us get thru a really hard day. She took the time to not only get to know Georgia but our family as well. She was so kind and patient . Karen arrived right in time and she was so comforting to our family. She was kind to Maya and took her time to accommodate all of us. She consoled us and treated Maya with utmost care. We are so grateful for her skill and kindness.
Dr. Sara Gardhaouse has an amazing aura about her. In such an Emotinal time she radiates warmth and kindness to help ease the situations hardness. I would gladly refer this company to help with the passing of any fur baby in their own home.
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.

Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.

Dr. Devlin was very patient and compassionate helping me and my family say goodbye to my sweet Gabriel. We recently made the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to our beloved kitty, Mapache, who was 18 years old. After reviewing his rapidly declining health with our veterinarian—he had not eaten in a week, was losing weight and strength, and was becoming increasingly distant and confused—it was clear his condition was not going to improve. We wanted to spare him further suffering or a traumatic passing, and above all, ensure his final moments were peaceful and dignified. Dr. Keri Wasmoen was recommended to us, and after reading about her experience and her reasons for specializing in in-home euthanasia, we knew she was the right person to help us through this. Choosing to have Mapache remain at home—rather than endure a frightening car ride and an unfamiliar clinical setting—was one of the best decisions we made. Dr. Keri was exceptional from the moment she arrived. She was professional, empathetic, calm, and deeply caring. She took time to explain every step of the process so we knew exactly what to expect, never rushed us, and always centered Mapache’s comfort and dignity. Her presence was genuine and reassuring during an incredibly emotional and sensitive experience. She thoughtfully outlined our options, allowed us to make decisions at our own pace, and ensured Mapache was as comfortable as possible throughout each step. Afterward, with our permission, she provided a beautifully prepared paw print kit with his name stenciled on it and space for a photo, along with a small bottle containing a lock of his fur—gestures that meant more to us than we can express. At one point, I told her that she must have such a hard job. She gently replied that we, as responsible pet owners, had the hardest job of all—and that we were doing the right thing. That reassurance was incredibly meaningful and comforting in the moment. We recommend Dr Keri without reservation.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
This was obviously a hard emotional day for me and Dr. Robert’s really made it a little easier. She was so patient and empathetic. Just very kind. Most importantly, she helped Truman transition peacefully.
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Mary was absolutely incredible when euthanizing my cat Abby. Her communication with us during the whole process was perfect. She was so gentle and kind.
Dr. Stukey was so amazingly kind, patient, and caring! She created such a gentle way to say goodbye during a very difficult experience. If you are finding yourself at the tough position of having to say goodbye to a beloved pet, she is the vet to help your loved one cross the bridge. ♥️
Dr. Katie Todd was so unbelievably kind & compassionate. She made an absolutely awful experience as peaceful & supportive as was possible. We are so grateful for her service.
