Coco was our rescued cat for 10+ years and we had poor experience with taking our previous cats to the vets for their final trip. So when we saw CodaPet, we were blessed to have Dr. Sarah Wratten administer Coco's last moments with us. We had Coco here quietly with her favorite smells and sounds and us around. Dr Sarah was gentle, compassionate and, most of all, reassuring as we had never had our other cats euthanized with us at home. Dr. Sarah talked us through each step both before and during. And it was like Coco fell asleep in our laps and peacefully transitioned. Of course, we were Very Sad but experienced the most gentle passing we could hope for. No drama, no noise, at her home for so many years. This is always going to be a tough moment for any pet owner but CodaPet and Dr. Sarah met the moment with professionalism, grace, and calm that made it the best send-off for Coco we could have ever hoped for.

It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Dr. Shanina Halbert is a compassionate and professional veterinarian who came to our home to help us when the difficult time came to put our 17-year-old cat, Manuelita, to rest. She was kind, communicative and gentle, and went above and beyond to make sure our cat felt safe on her final journey and went peacefully at home in our arms. Her calm bedside manner, clear communication, and genuine kindness made a painful experience much more manageable. She arrived promptly after short, off-hours notice, treated our home and pet with great respect, care, and dignity. We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
Dr Wratten treated us all like family. She made me find a little solace on this traumatizing day by how she worked and helped us send our beloved Dexter over the Rainbow Bridge. She was better than I expected in taking care of my baby.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Pilago showed so much care and compassion when we had to make the painful decision to put our handsome pup Rodney to sleep. I highly recommend her.

Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Laura was very kind and came all the way out to our farm to help our German Shepherd go to sleep peacefully in her own bed. She was well prepared and explained everything to us in detail the night before our appointment and explained everything that would happen after she arrived at our home. Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Dr. Katie was amazing and showed the exact kindness we needed during such a hard time. It was so important for us to spend our Gracie’s last moments at home and she gave that to us. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
Dr. Sara Gardhaouse has an amazing aura about her. In such an Emotinal time she radiates warmth and kindness to help ease the situations hardness. I would gladly refer this company to help with the passing of any fur baby in their own home.
Throughout this very depressing process, Dr. Laura Smith did a wonderful job. Considering Abby’s situation, Dr. Smith made sure there was no pain or discomfort, and Abby passed without any stress at all. And further, Dr. Smith’s follow up has been very helpful and attentive. If there was a grade to be had, Dr. Laura Smith would receive an A+.
Saying goodbye to Zoey was one of the hardest things we’ve had to do, but Dr. Mills made the process as peaceful and comforting as possible. She was incredibly gentle, explained every step clearly, and never made us feel rushed. We are so grateful for her compassion and the dignity that she showed our sweet baby in her final moments.
On what is a tremendously sad day, Dr Carol Earls made the process as easy as possible. Providing us plenty of time to say goodbye and making Cobi's passing comfortable. I have had vets come to my home to provide this service a couple times before. Cobi's passing was the most peaceful. Dr Earls is a wonderful person - and made one of the worst days of my life better by being so compassionate and caring. I hope it will be many years before I need her services again - but I pray she will still be offering this service when that time comes.
Dr Meredith was very kind and very sweet. She explained every step of the process to me and I got to hold my kitty and talk to her and rub her until she passed.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. I always promised my Bailey a peaceful and pain was ending, and that's exactly what happened thanks to Dr. Daniela. Dr. Daniela did something completely different from anything I had experienced with my other pets, and it brought me an incredible amount of comfort during one of the hardest moments of my life. In the past, my pets were given an IV in their leg before any pain medication or sedation. It was upsetting to watch because they were uncomfortable, fighting the process, and clearly stressed. With Dr. Daniela, my cat never even flinched. She used a gentle three step process that allowed my cat to peacefully cross the Rainbow Bridge in my arms without fear, pain, or the discomfort of needles and IV placement. First, she used a tiny needle to give him an opioid and pain medication in the scruff area. The needle was so small he did not even notice it. She then waited about 10 minutes, and during that time he was completely relaxed, comfortable, pain free, and calm. Next, when I was ready, she gave him a sedative with another very small needle in his back leg. Because he was already relaxed and on opioids, he did not react at all! Then, when I was ready, she administered the final medication. The entire process felt gentle, calm, and compassionate. Dr. Daniela explained every step with kindness and empathy, which helped me tremendously through my grief. I am completely at peace with how everything happened. Knowing my cat passed away feeling safe, comfortable, and loved in my arms gives me enormous comfort. After experiencing this level of care, I would never choose any other approach for my pets in the future. At end, Dr. Daniela brought out a really comfy pet bed lined with fluffy blankets to take my fur baby away. That made me feel even better about the entire situation knowing his last trip was exactly how he would have loved it to be.
Dr. Lori Thomas was kind, compassionate and helpful. Our dear Darby was shepherded across the rainbow bridge as his time in was coming near. I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr Jones was compassionate and calming during the home visit to euthanize our senior cat. She explained everything thoroughly beforehand and arrived timely. The entire process was gentle and I didn’t feel the my beloved cat suffered at all being that anesthesia was used before the euthanasia drug. My only regret is that i didn’t hold him one last time before she left with him. Otherwise it was a worthwhile experience to know i didn’t have to load him in a carrier and haul him to the vet office. The aftercare that included his cremated remains that I picked up about a week later came with a nice metal urn along with a wooden circle that had his name and his paw print. Everything was professionally done and very caring. I highly recommend Dr Jones.

Saying goodbye to our beloved dog far too early was the hardest day of my life but Dr. Caitlin Klepper helped make a hard day incredibly special. The at-home service was exactly the environment our hearts needed to grieve and say goodbye to Phoebe. We had soft music playing, Phoebe was surrounded by all the people she loved dearly, and Dr. Klepper was so sincere, respectful, informational, and comforting. She walked us through each step and did it in our own time. I still replay the day in my head over and over again and as hard as it is, it was a day that was filled with so much peace as well. I highly recommend CodaPet if you’re able. The bedside manner that was displayed is one you pray humans get as well.

We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Walton was so compassionate and gentle with Buster. She made this very difficult day as peaceful as possible. She knew we loved him so much and even shed a few tears with us. I will miss Buster the rest of my life, but I am thankful we were able to honor him and give him peace after a very difficult illness. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.

Dr.Bates was exactly what we needed in our dog's last moments. She allowed him to be where he was most comfortable, surrounded by our family. She explained all phases of the process and allowed us the time we needed.
Dr. Le Blanc helped us get through a very hard experience with our cat. She was empathetic and took the time to explain every step. I really appreciate her. She was also patient with me and understanding as I had reservations leading up to the appointment. We’re very sad but we are also grateful to have our boy pass away peacefully in our arms at home. Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr. Rizzo was perfect. She was calm and patient; as well as incredibly understanding. She explained the process so we knew what was happening and what would happen to our pet. Our dog is reactive but she was able to work around that issue. After our dog passed and was cremated, she made sure to pick up his cremains and delivered them to us. I was terrified that they would be shipped out and lost. Dr. Rizzo made sure our pup made it back home. We are forever grateful for everything she did for us and our dog. She also came very highly recommended by a veterinarian that used her services.
Dr. Dzierga was so patient, kind and reassuring when we had to say goodbye to our cat, Patches. She explained everything she was doing and asked permission at every step to make sure that we were ready for her to continue. Dr. Dzierga made the entire process peaceful and calm for us and we greatly appreciated it.
Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Our time with Dr. Nakaya was a Divine appointment as she was the "grace" we had prayed for when it came time to say goodbye to our amazing, miraculous 20 year old blind and deaf cat, Ziggy. Her calmness, patience, and knowledge of acupressure points to hold to facilitate his struggle in letting go made a big difference. It was a spiritual experience for us and I believe, Ziggy. She was generous with her time, spending nearly an hour with us. She knew just how to make a difficult situation less painful and more meaningful. We wish we had known about her when all our cats were still with us and had issues. We would highly recommend her for all vet care!
