Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Dr. Mills guided us through our first pet euthanasia. We cannot imagine having gone through this with anyone else. We are so happy we chose in-home euthanasia. We’ve had our Chloe girl since we rescued her as a kitten. After 17 wonderful years it was time for her to cross the rainbow bridge. She was blind, deaf, and had light blood pressure and kidney failure. She loved to be near us but hated being picked up and she despised trips to the vet. Dr. Mills was ah-mazing. Compassionate, skilled, knowledgeable, etc etc etc. Chloe was able to stay in her favorite spot on the couch, soaked in sunshine, surrounded by her people and peacefully fall asleep. Thank you, Dr. Mills, for being so good at what you do and providing a beautiful and peaceful passing for our beloved Chloe.
Absolutely wonderful. She was very kind, patient and explained everything that was going to happen. We have a second dog, a pug, who barked when she first arrived and within minutes was on his back letting Dr Krueger scratch his belly. Highly recommend

Dr. Walden put our cat, Andy, to sleep today. She called yesterday and we had a very comforting conversation. And, we spoke again before she came today. She said it was a privilege for her to help animals transition. She spent a lot of time with us beforehand. It was my hope that Andy could be euthanized laying on my lap in our (his and mine) recliner. It worked out perfectly and was so peaceful. Dr. Walden explained in detail each step and how the sedative/anesthesia would work and what to expect. She was professional, comforting, patient with our (my husband and me) reminiscing. She made sure to go through the euthanasia at our pace. Our last sight of Andy was him wrapped in a beautiful blanket resting in peace in a lovely basket. Our only regret was that Dr. Walden and Codapet were not available with our prior animals.
She explained every step and told us what to expect. Communicating with her was easy and she was in contact with us for her arrival time and was personable. We felt comfortable with her and she was kind enough to let me know when my Wolfie’s ashes arrived and she delivered him personally to our home. Thank you for making this difficult time easier.
From the moment that Dr.Jones arrived, I knew she was the right choice. She was polite, empathetic and just so kind throughout the entire process. She took ample time to talk to our family after examining our dog and then allowed us to make a decision without pressure. Once the decision was made we were given plenty of time…no rushing at all. It was as peaceful of a passing as I could have ever imagined for such a beloved part of our family. I would use Dr.Jones again and highly recommend her services.

Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. Dr. Roberts was incredibly professional while we were saying goodbye to our best friend of 16 years. She carefully explained every step and gave us all the time we needed before, during, and after the euthanasia. It’s so difficult to say goodbye to fur baby because they are a child to you. Selfishly, we just want to hang on to them as long as possible. A good friend recently told us about in home euthanasia when our little Gus, a 16 year Shih Tzu, wasn’t feeling well. I look back at his quality of life the past year. The reality was, we were holding on to him for ourselves. We decided to go with Codapet, Dr. Laura Smith who was recommended to us. What a gut wrenching experience to put your baby to rest. Despite how horrible, we know we did the right thing for Gus. Dr. Laura was professional, empathetic and took care of all the details so we could just focus on our goodbye. In the comfort of his favorite spot, in my arms I held him so tight, kissing him and telling him how much I loved him. He fell asleep like that. He was loved and comfortable. I could not think of a better way to say goodbye, as sad and heartbroken as we are. Please consider do this for your beloved pet, it’s so worth it.
Our dog Lilly was 16 years old and showed every sign and diagnosis of an old dog. When I called Dr. Hart's office, her availability and sympathetic approach to our situation made our decision easier. When Dr. Hart arrived at our home, she greeted Lilly with love and tenderness, and towards us, too. For my husband and me, what was about to happen became very real, and she was sensitive to that as well. The process did not take long, as our Lilly, we now believe, was ready to go too. Throughout this process, Dr. Hart explained to us how she would do it, how Lilly would react, and what her final moments would be like. It was comforting to hear them in such a gentle way. When it was all done, she allowed us to say goodbye one last time and to place her into Dr. Hart’s car for a final send-off. We chose to have Lilly cremated and returned to us; that process, which was quoted to take two weeks, was done in less than one. I would highly recommend Dr. Hart to anyone who has to deal with this part of owning a pet. It’s difficult, it is emotional, it’s traumatic, but to have somebody sensitive and caring entering your home to do this, like Dr. Hart allows you to find comfort in the decision you made, and while difficult, it was the right decision.
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Dr. White was so kind and compassionate, explaining the process as it progressed, allowing us to make the decisions we could. She truly understood the bond we had with our boy. We will cherish the memory of him forever ❤️
I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. Dr Bates was friendly, caring and professional from the very start, from first contact through text messaging I could tell she cared about what she does. She made us all feel comfortable while she was in our home with friendly caring conversation . She talked us through each step of what was going to happen . After she made medically sure our boy was in his final rest she went out to her car and gave us the time we needed until we were ready to bring him out . We initially opted for a non individual cremation but then regrettably decided the next day we wanted the ashes back, we called and left a message with the thought that she’s already done her part and was prepared to not hear back from her BUT we did and she made the arrangements for individual cremation. So for all of this I thank her and not to mention this was right after the snow/ice storm we recently had ,, she still showed up when we needed her. Sincerely we thank you Dr Bates ❤️
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
Kirsten was incredible in every way. The days leading up, she texted words of encouragement and provided information that was so incredibly. I cannot imagine a smoother experience. It didn’t take away our pain, but we felt so well cared for throughout. This was so, so much harder than we ever imagined, but Kirsten was key in making such a difference for us.
Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Dr. Katie Todd was so unbelievably kind & compassionate. She made an absolutely awful experience as peaceful & supportive as was possible. We are so grateful for her service.
Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Dr. April was kind, friendly, efficient and thorough with her explanation of the steps about to be taken. She allowed us ample time to prepare for our beloved cat's last moments with us. After, she was tender with our cat and with us. Today she brought our cat's cremains to us. Again, she was kind with us. We appreciate her and recommend her to you if you need this service.
Dr. Martin was absolutely wonderful during one of the hardest moments of our lives. He explained the process with so much care, gave us time to say goodbye while Ruger passed, and also time afterward to just be with him. He even hand-delivered our pup’s ashes and sent the sweetest card. I will absolutely recommend Dr. Martin to anyone who has to go through this heartbreaking process—he made it as gentle and compassionate as it could possibly be.

Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Dr. White was very kind, compassionate, professional, and accommodating. She contacted me shortly after scheduling to confirm the appointment and offer an earlier visit, which was greatly appreciated. When she arrived, she explained the process and treated us with great respect. The following week, Dr. White reached out again to arrange to have my pet's remains picked up. She was, again, accommodating and prompt with the transfer. Losing a pet is very painful, but allowing your pet to pass in the comfort and safety of their own home was a great relief, and Dr. White's kindness and understanding helped make the passing a little less painful. I could not have asked for a more calm and respectful transition.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
Dr. Delia could not have been more compassionate in her work with me and my dog. Her presence, gentleness and pacing all contributed to a peaceful process at this heartbreaking time. Would recommend her to anyone facing the same situation.
Renee was very communicative and reached out the morning of to let me know that the roads were bad and she would be possibly late as a result. She handled my sweet, loving boy with compassion and dignity. I’m crying even as I type this. What I appreciated as much as her care in his final moments was the card she sent me. She remembered specific things I told her about him. THAT meant a lot. He wasn’t just another pet she was euthanizing. It was my 16 year old chatty kitty who loved playing fetch at 3am and his special blankies. Thank you for caring for the piece of my soul I lost that day. I’ll never forget your kindness in that moment. Unfortunately, it’s not something that comes by often anymore. Love, compassion, kindness. I’m grateful to her for that.
There is no good way to lose a loved friend and companion. We are grateful to have found Dr. Ortman when our AB “Zeke” began to rapidly decline in health due to NCL. Dr. Ortman was professional and empathetic while he provided us with the very best care. He was well organized, prepared, and able to guide us through the euthanasia process. He was gentle and kind to Zeke. Dr. Ortman’s care and expertise enabled Zeke to pass gently and peacefully with the love he deserved. Dr. Ortman also helped us move toward healing by enhancing our understanding of Zeke’s condition. That knowledge gave us comfort in knowing that we made the only decision possible to spare Zeke from further suffering. Not every case is without hope. If your pet is suffering, Dr. Ortman also offers a Quality of Life consultation. I would trust him to provide sound recommendations for any of our pets and I believe you can, as well. God Bless
Very responsive to a same day appointment and even came earlier when notified that Beau had taken a turn for the worse. Once she arrived at the house, she was very calm, which helped us relax. She also was not in a rush to get it done … she waited for us to tell her we were ready—which is a different experience than my parents have encountered with in-home euthanasias—and much appreciated. Her compassion extended past “the appointment”. She made contact with us the following day to see how my daughter was doing. When I was a bit apprehensive about sending Beau’s ashes to our regular vet, she agreed to have him returned to her residence, so that we could pick him up there and ensure positive control. All-in-all, and with respect to the circumstances, it was a very positive experience and the best that you could expect that situation to be—Dr Laura made what was otherwise probably the worst day of my life, just a little bit better. If I’m ever able to take the plunge into fur-parenting again, I would not hesitate to use Dr Laura and Codapets services again when the time came.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Blades was very caring and compassionate. Mack went very peacefully and the whole process from start to finish was handled with care and respect. The care Dr. Blades took to make sure there was no pain was much appreciated.
Dr. Rebecca will be our first choice going forward for this incredibly personal and heartbreaking procedure. Pet euthanasia at home is the only way to go and I highly recommend Dr. Becca if services are needed.

OMG, God could not have sent a better person than Dr. Kirsten Stukey. We were an emotional wreck and in pain beyond belief. She was so compassionate and understanding. She explained everything clearly, allowed us to take our time, and helped us understand how everything would work. We were able to keep our beloved Millie at home in the living room she loved, surrounded by her brother Dax and those who loved her. I am grateful and thankful beyond belief. I truly believe that giving up coffee, lunches, and dinners so that your dog can pass in the home they love and grew up in is the only way to go—not in a cold vet’s office. I am eternally grateful for this angel called Dr. Stukey. She is an angel and a saint to all dogs she encounters. We are grateful and blessed for the service Dr. Stukey provided. This was the most painful experience of my life, and Dr. Stukey made it so much easier by allowing us to do it at home.
Dr. Sara Gardhaouse has an amazing aura about her. In such an Emotinal time she radiates warmth and kindness to help ease the situations hardness. I would gladly refer this company to help with the passing of any fur baby in their own home.

We had to say goodbye to our 17 year old dog, Zoey, our first baby, who has been with us since she was 10 weeks old. Making that call was the hardest thing we’ve ever done. Inviting someone into our home for such a heartbreaking moment felt overwhelming… but Dr. Jen walked in with so much gentleness and calm that she immediately made it feel safe. She was kind, patient, and unbelievably compassionate. She explained everything softly, gave us as much time as we needed, and treated Zoey with so much dignity and respect. It never felt rushed. It never felt clinical. It felt like someone who truly understands that this isn’t “just a pet.” This is family. Because of Dr. Jen, Zoe was able to pass peacefully in her own home, surrounded by the people who loved her most. In the middle of one of the worst days of our lives, she was a steady, comforting presence. We will always be grateful for that. If you ever find yourself in the heartbreaking position of needing this service, I cannot recommend Dr. Jen enough. She is truly an angel.

We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. Her compassion and professionalism truly made all the difference during this heartbreaking time.
Dr. Laura was the best. She was so compassionate and explained the details and how my girl would go to sleep peacefully. There was no rushing to take her away from us until we all had a chance to say our goodbyes and we were ready. I thank God for people like Dr. Laura that understand Sophie wasn't just a dog that she was part of our family. Being with my girl while she went over the rainbow bridge was the least I could do after all the unconditional love she gave us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use her again.
Dr Dover was an angel. She made the whole process as comforting as she could. She explained what she was doing, showed compassion, and really helped me through a tough and emotional time. Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.

Kirsten was awesome! It was very easy to feel at ease with her being here, very compassionate, and took the passing at our pace and didn’t rush it. She explained everything in detail! Dr Keri was so kind and supportive. She explained every step and took her time. The whole experience was so comforting. Being able to hold my 19 year old beloved cat AJ on my couch, as he closed his eyes one last time put me at peace.
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.

Dr. Lisa, a retired veterinarian, brought a gentle presence and deep empathy into our home—qualities that made an unbearable day a little more bearable. Her kindness and professionalism helped guide my wife and me through the process with grace and dignity. We are overwhelmingly grateful that Lily was able to pass in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the space and the things she loved most. Holding her in my arms as she went peacefully was a blessing I will never forget. The communication with CodaPet was seamless, and scheduling the appointment was simple—something I deeply appreciated during such an emotionally difficult time. I cannot recommend CodaPet and Dr. Lisa more highly. Their service was not just professional—it was personal, compassionate, and deeply respectful. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr. Peterson was so compassionate and caring. She really helped us get through this terrible time of having to put our precious dog Lincoln down. She treated him with so much respect and care. When he passed she was so gentle with him, and was so careful taking care of him. I would highly recommend her if you are going through this difficult time with your dog.
I called about my dog because for some reason her pain had just gotten unbearable all of a sudden so the doctor came to the house. I had my dog already laying down with the blanket and. When the doctor reached in her bag, she pulled out a needle that was large. My dog is Chihuahua mix 14 pounds at the time. The first shot, she screamed in pain yelped the second time I was trying to hold her head as still as I could and I did and she screamed again, but she, the doctor thought that the dog was already sedated and was going to give her the euthanasia shot and I said no she’s not asleep and she said she should she’s asleep and so I pulled out my dog’s leg up and she pulled back The second sedation shot was given and she cried again. I’m only telling you this because I feel like I wanted to do it at home because I wanted her to be more comfortable but after that, I don’t know I mean she was at home in bed with me, but I felt like she was she was going to think that I was hurting her right before she died. I can’t get it out of my mind. The euthanasia shot was given and and Dixie passed I understand these things happen but it just left a it left me feel bad for my dog. The doctor was nice but that doesn’t matter for my dog. It should’ve been smoother anyway the total charge was close to that $1000 but that included her urn And paw print . Bottom line I feel like the shots for sedation should have been done with the smaller needle and the light should’ve been enough to be able to put the needle in easier? I can’t take back her pain. I just hope she understands that I wasn’t trying to hurt her in her last time here thank you for your understanding. This is not meant to be mean this is just how I feel.
Dr. Katie Todd was so kind and informative. She explained the process and answered all of our questions. Our sweet girl is at peace and out of pain and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her.
Dr. Keri Wasnoen did an amazing job with my girl Isla. She was professional and empathetic and overall great. She made my difficult day go as smoothly as possible. I’m at peace knowing that Isla left this world in the most beautiful way. I have no regrets.

We are forever grateful to Dr. Nicolette Michelli for the compassion and care she showed our family. From the moment she arrived, she treated our Elsa with kindness, patience, and charity. She gently explained each step of the process, giving us the space and time to be present with our girl in her final moments without ever feeling rushed. Dr. Michelli took the time to personally send us a lovely handwritten card and followed up to ensure that Elsa’s ashes were returned to us. We will always remember Dr. Michelli's kindness.
Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
