Dr. Derecka provided a kind and compassionate experience for us saying goodbye to our beloved family member. We decided to spend our last hours with him outside where he was happiest and calm. Dr Derecka arrived quietly, gently explained everything that was about to happen, and gave us as much time as we wanted before beginning the procedure. As overwhelmed and sad as we were, we are so glad that we let our beloved dog leave us calmly and comfortable in his familiar home surroundings with his family around him. I would highly recommend Dr Derecka, and as awful as it was to say goodbye, it was a far better and more comforting experience than taking him to the vet hospital (which was always somewhere he hated anyway!).
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. My husband and I were so grateful for the kindness and compassion shown during one of the hardest days we've faced. Having our beloved cat Chaussettes peacefully cared for at home made an incredibly difficult goodbye much more gentle and comforting. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.

This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.

Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. I always promised my Bailey a peaceful and pain was ending, and that's exactly what happened thanks to Dr. Daniela. Dr. Daniela did something completely different from anything I had experienced with my other pets, and it brought me an incredible amount of comfort during one of the hardest moments of my life. In the past, my pets were given an IV in their leg before any pain medication or sedation. It was upsetting to watch because they were uncomfortable, fighting the process, and clearly stressed. With Dr. Daniela, my cat never even flinched. She used a gentle three step process that allowed my cat to peacefully cross the Rainbow Bridge in my arms without fear, pain, or the discomfort of needles and IV placement. First, she used a tiny needle to give him an opioid and pain medication in the scruff area. The needle was so small he did not even notice it. She then waited about 10 minutes, and during that time he was completely relaxed, comfortable, pain free, and calm. Next, when I was ready, she gave him a sedative with another very small needle in his back leg. Because he was already relaxed and on opioids, he did not react at all! Then, when I was ready, she administered the final medication. The entire process felt gentle, calm, and compassionate. Dr. Daniela explained every step with kindness and empathy, which helped me tremendously through my grief. I am completely at peace with how everything happened. Knowing my cat passed away feeling safe, comfortable, and loved in my arms gives me enormous comfort. After experiencing this level of care, I would never choose any other approach for my pets in the future. At end, Dr. Daniela brought out a really comfy pet bed lined with fluffy blankets to take my fur baby away. That made me feel even better about the entire situation knowing his last trip was exactly how he would have loved it to be.
Dr. Stukey was so amazingly kind, patient, and caring! She created such a gentle way to say goodbye during a very difficult experience. If you are finding yourself at the tough position of having to say goodbye to a beloved pet, she is the vet to help your loved one cross the bridge. ♥️
Dr Lydia was very helpful with getting Buster through his crossing. She is ver compassionate and understanding. We felt extremely comfortable with her. It was like we had know her for some time. Would highly recommend Dr Lydia for a pet parents that are facing the toughest decision about their pet.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. My Buster meant everything to me , he was a huge part of my everyday routine. Even when I would leave on a few days trip which wasn’t often because he had. separation anxiety and he did not want me to leave him. I would call to check on him often . Dr Sarah Clem was amazing . She was very compassionate and calm. You could just tell from the very first moment we met her that she truly cared She took her time explaining the process to us and answering any questions that we had . Buster went up to her as she was sitting on a carpet on our floor at his level . He was very comfortable with her . She made one of the hardest decisions I have made in my life a compassionate peaceful transition for my Buster to cross the rainbow bridge. I am so very thankful to have been blessed to have her here to help us during this very emotional hard time. I would definitely recommend her .
Dr. Cassandra Lewis was incredible. She made one of the toughest moments in our whole life be as comfortable and peaceful as possible. She was so calm and patient and talked us through everything. It truly felt like having a family member there with us. She was so great with our pup when she was passing and was so comforting, and was also patient with her other fur baby who was processing things in his own way. I highly recommend her.
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Lori came earlier this year when I had to put my girl Roo down. She then came when it was time for my boy, Paco. She took the same care and compassion with him as she did with her. She talked through the whole process so that nothing was a surprise and was very comforting. I'm very grateful for Dr. Lori.

Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.

This was the first time I've had someone come to the house to put one of my fur babies to rest.. Our "Big Boy" Rocco passed peacefully with my husband and I and the compassionate assistance of Dr. Christina Vernon. Very best possible transition for our beloved dog and our family. Dr. Mumm allowed us to be out on our deck where Coda was the most comfortable in the cooler air. Our dog really liked her, too. The last hour of her life was as wonderful as we could make it, with lots of pets and love and treats. She fell asleep gently, settled right in front of me. Dr. Mumm was very reassuring to us and we helped her carry Coda out to her car on a stretcher since she was a big dog. She wrapped her in blankets on the stretcher but left her head out so the last thing we saw was her head on her paws, resting peacefully. Later we received a personal email and card from her which listed many of the activities we told her about doing with Coda. It felt like she really listened and cared! Thank you, Dr. Mumm, for making this difficult time so much better than expected!
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. I would highly recommend CodaPet and Dr. Bailey! Being able to make an appointment online within such a short notice was a blessing for our 15yr old girl, Jetta. Dr. Bailey was absolutely amazing!! Coco was our rescued cat for 10+ years and we had poor experience with taking our previous cats to the vets for their final trip. So when we saw CodaPet, we were blessed to have Dr. Sarah Wratten administer Coco's last moments with us. We had Coco here quietly with her favorite smells and sounds and us around. And it was like Coco fell asleep in our laps and peacefully transitioned. Of course, we were Very Sad but experienced the most gentle passing we could hope for. Our time with Dr. Nakaya was a Divine appointment as she was the "grace" we had prayed for when it came time to say goodbye to our amazing, miraculous 20 year old blind and deaf cat, Ziggy. Her calmness, patience, and knowledge of acupressure points to hold to facilitate his struggle in letting go made a big difference. It was a spiritual experience for us and I believe, Ziggy. She was generous with her time, spending nearly an hour with us. She knew just how to make a difficult situation less painful and more meaningful. We wish we had known about her when all our cats were still with us and had issues. We would highly recommend her for all vet care!
On what is a tremendously sad day, Dr Carol Earls made the process as easy as possible. Providing us plenty of time to say goodbye and making Cobi's passing comfortable. I have had vets come to my home to provide this service a couple times before. Cobi's passing was the most peaceful. Dr Earls is a wonderful person - and made one of the worst days of my life better by being so compassionate and caring. I hope it will be many years before I need her services again - but I pray she will still be offering this service when that time comes.
Dr Katie was just the person we needed to see us through the loss of our family cat. She let us tell stories, ugly cry, and sat in our backyard with us while our family said goodbye together. Unfortunately, my elder dog Patience took a turn for the worse and I had to make the call that I dreaded. I had previously decided to have a vet come to the home for her passing. I didn’t want Patience trembling in fear at the vet’s office. Karen Whala arrived and she was wonderful. She took her time quietly explaining the process to me and my daughter as we cried. Patience passed peacefully in her favorite chair and I’m confident that she felt no pain thanks to Karen. Karen was the only good thing in a terrible day and I’m grateful.
Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd was so unbelievably kind & compassionate. She made an absolutely awful experience as peaceful & supportive as was possible. We are so grateful for her service.
The death of Boo Boo was devastating for me. And his condition deteriorated so rapidly we could not take him to the vet we have had for years - who was not available. My daughter and her wife used this service - a different vet with their dog who had ALS (yes, dogs get ALS) so we knew where to turn.We contacted them at 3:30 pm and they arrived as asked for at 7. We couldn't let BooBoo suffer any more. Dr Rebecca and her assistant were wonderfully compassionate, we got to hold BooBoo and say goodbye in our living room. They followed up by Delivering the pawprints and ashes. I could not ask for a more compassionate, loving farewell. I wish we treated people this well in their passing. Their kindness will Always be remembered and appreciated
Dr Wratten treated us all like family. She made me find a little solace on this traumatizing day by how she worked and helped us send our beloved Dexter over the Rainbow Bridge. She was better than I expected in taking care of my baby.
Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Dr Jones was compassionate and calming during the home visit to euthanize our senior cat. She explained everything thoroughly beforehand and arrived timely. The entire process was gentle and I didn’t feel the my beloved cat suffered at all being that anesthesia was used before the euthanasia drug. My only regret is that i didn’t hold him one last time before she left with him. Otherwise it was a worthwhile experience to know i didn’t have to load him in a carrier and haul him to the vet office. The aftercare that included his cremated remains that I picked up about a week later came with a nice metal urn along with a wooden circle that had his name and his paw print. Everything was professionally done and very caring. I highly recommend Dr Jones.
our 6-year-old Toby was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma and he was really struggling. It was tough to see him in that situation and it was even tougher to say goodbye. Dr. Kellie was so amazing and really made a difficult situation & decision A peaceful one. Thank you.
The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Thomason was so supportive and helpful during such an incredibly hard time. I can't say enough about what an amazing vet she is. RIP Lovely Lolita
It was terrible to have to meet Dr. Amanda under these circumstances. That said, she was wonderful. She was kind and compassionate. She answered our questions and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our Cat Tom. She was light in a very dark day. Thank you, Dr Amanda.
