Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. Dr. Lisa, a retired veterinarian, brought a gentle presence and deep empathy into our home—qualities that made an unbearable day a little more bearable. Her kindness and professionalism helped guide my wife and me through the process with grace and dignity. We are overwhelmingly grateful that Lily was able to pass in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the space and the things she loved most. Holding her in my arms as she went peacefully was a blessing I will never forget. During the experience she was very kind and gentle and informative to the humans. Very compassionate to the feelings that come with this situation. Giving knowledge about the procedure was helpful for some of the family members and when it came time for the services to happen she was gentle and kind with my animal. Afterwards when I needed to locate the ashes due to a technical issue with the phone systems she went above and beyond to help me figure out and navigate where and when my cat's ashes would be ready. Her words of comfort helped a lot during such a sad stressful time and she helped us through this in a way that was helpful but also in the background like an angel working to help. I am very grateful that she was able to be there for us during such an awful time.
I was so thankful to have found Dr. Christoff. She assisted our family with our furbaby Dixie's journey across the rainbow bridge. Her kindness, peaceful demeanor, and compassion were unmatched. She went above and beyond for our baby and us. I highly recommend her and while I hope not to need these services in the future, should I need them she will be my first call.
Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.

Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Katie Todd was so kind and informative. She explained the process and answered all of our questions. Our sweet girl is at peace and out of pain and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her.
Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.

The pain that day when I had to say goodbye to my baby Cooper was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. It still hurts to think that he’s no longer my shadow, always looking for me or always watching me. Dr Sarah was so very kind with the process and made Cooper very comfortable to the end. Although I was a mess Dr Sarah gave me a hug and with that I knew Cooper was going to be handled with care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.

This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Delia could not have been more compassionate in her work with me and my dog. Her presence, gentleness and pacing all contributed to a peaceful process at this heartbreaking time. Would recommend her to anyone facing the same situation.
Dr Mills made one of the saddest days a little better. She was so gentle with my best bud and with me, too. Nothing felt rushed. She explained everything that was happening and offered a judgment free space if you decided to not be in the room. I stayed with my buddy until the very end though, with his head in my lap. Dr Mills used a soft, calming voice, gave my buddy 100% attention, and took her time. I am so glad that she gave my best bud the calmest passing. He was not stressed at all, which is exactly what I hoped for. My last memory of my sweet old pupper is him laying on his favorite spot on the couch with his head in my lap, finally at peace and free of pain. After, she handled his body with such care and assured me this was the best decision for him. She also sent me a very sweet card about a week later. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat and will recommend her to anyone in need of her services.
We recently said goodbye to our dog Edward. He was 15 years old and we had 12 years together. Dr. Perzak made an unbearably hard day as peaceful as it could possibly be. She was warm, patient, and genuinely present with us. Sshe took the time to explain exactly what to expect, answered every question without rushing, and never once made us feel like we were "just another appointment." What stood out most was her compassion. She treated Edward with such gentleness, and she treated our family with the same care, giving us space to grieve while quietly guiding us through the process. It's clear she truly understands how much our fur babies mean to us, not just as animals but as family. I'm deeply grateful to her for the kindness shown to us during Edward's final moments. Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! There are simply not enough words to express how grateful our family is to Dr. Diana Gersten and the entire Coda Pet team during one of the hardest days of our lives. After nearly 18 wonderful years with our beloved miniature dachshund, Nash, we knew it was time to say goodbye as he was in Renal failure. Dr. Gersten came to our home and treated Nash and our entire family with extraordinary compassion, kindness, and dignity. She never rushed us. She gave us all the time we needed to hold him, tell him how much we loved him, and say our final goodbyes in the comfort of our home, where Nash felt safe and surrounded by the people who loved him most. After Nash peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge, Dr. Gersten gently carried him away on a beautiful bed with a soft blanket, treating him with the same love and respect she had shown throughout the entire visit. That simple act meant more to us than words can express. Her care didn’t end that day. In the days that followed, she checked in on our family with thoughtful text messages, sent us a beautiful handwritten sympathy card, and shared such kind words about Nash and the joy and unconditional love he gave to our family and children. It was clear that she truly cared, not just as a veterinarian, but as a compassionate human being. Losing a pet is heartbreaking, but Dr. Gersten helped make one of the most painful experiences of our lives as peaceful and loving as it could possibly be. We will never forget her kindness. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Gersten and the Coda Pet in-home pet euthanasia service to any family facing this incredibly difficult decision. They provided our sweet Nash with the peaceful, dignified farewell he deserved, and for that, we will be forever grateful.

Dr. Allison was an angel sent from our many prayers ✝️. From the moment she walked in the door, I felt a calmness come over me and I knew my 18 year old kitty, Tucker, would peacefully transition. Dr, Allison wanted to get to know a bit about Tucker and our 17 years with him before she even began with the process. She then thoroughly explained each step to prepare us. As I held Tucker in my arms wrapped in his favorite blanket, Dr. Allison expressed so much compassion as she completed each step administering medication. Afterwards she allowed us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our boy. Then she actually offered to let me carry him to her and place him in her care for his last car ride. He loved car rides. A few days later, we received a personal sympathy card from Dr. Allison which greatly touched our hearts. SHE WAS A GODSEND!!!!
Dr., Somerset is the kindest, sweetest vet and was so respectful to me and my precious boy Bentley. She is thorough, thoughtful and understands the pain a family goes through when they say goodbye to a canine (or feline) family member. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you use her w/CodaPet or if you live in her area, use her vet practice. I was heartbroken over the loss of my sweet boy Bentley. We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr. Murray for compassionate and considerate. He gave us time to get ready, explained the whole process and after the euthanesia gave us time to say the final goodbye. Our dog Drake passed away peacefully surrounded by the family. We could have not asked for a better experience. We loved our dog like a member of our family and Dr. Murray made this difficult process more bearable. We highly recommend him.

When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr Ayers is amazing at her job and the perfect support during a moment that will always be awful. She was prompt, patient, considerate, kind, and so sweet to our 14 yr old doodle. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us send our dearest friend on to a freer place.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate Veterinarian. Dr. Wratten was so comforting and caring. She was very gentle and explained the process to me as she was performing the euthanasia on my beloved pet, assuring me that she was not suffering. She even helped me pick out some fur i want to keep to put in a pretty coverd bowl in my home. My pet was 20 years old and i just wanted a beautiful remembrance to have with me.
Dr Laurie was kind and compassionate with me, did not rush me. I lost my best friend on July 7th, even though I knew Luna was out of time, and to wait any longer would only cause my baby to suffer more, it still broke my heart. Dr Laurie understood that, and I never felt rushed or I felt like I had to hurry with my goodbyes. She was gentle and tender with Luna, which I know made her more comfortable. This is a review that no pet owner wants to write. If you are reading this, it's obvious that, like me, you cherished the time you've had with your pet child, and the moment has come to give them the most comfortable and dignified passage possible. I was faced with this moment a few weeks ago and did not want to take my son Ziggy back to the vet to transition in a hospital filled with dogs barking and in a strange room. He spent his entire life with me and his brothers in our home. 16 years of comfort and love in the only place he knew. It was important that our last moments together be in our space. It was by chance that I found Dr. Frucht when the service I had been referred to could not come until the next day. Booking the appointment was easy. She arrived on time with her assistant and could not have been more compassionate and understanding. She explained everything, was gentle, and professional. She made a very difficult moment as easy as possible. There was no rush, no hurry, just compassion and understanding. Ziggy passed in my arms as I had promised. I asked if I could carry him outside to their car, and she obliged. I can't recommend her enough. It was worth every penny, and I am so glad that I found her. This moment is difficult enough. Placing your trust in Dr. Frucht will allow you to concentrate on being present for the transition of your loved one. She comes with my highest recommendation and, above all, my appreciation.
Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Dr. Sara Gardhaouse has an amazing aura about her. In such an Emotinal time she radiates warmth and kindness to help ease the situations hardness. I would gladly refer this company to help with the passing of any fur baby in their own home.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. His calm, caring presence brought so much peace to an impossible situation. He treated Oliver with the utmost dignity and treated our family with genuine empathy and respect. It was clear that he understood this wasn’t just a pet—we were saying goodbye to a beloved member of our family. Although it was one of the saddest days we’ve ever experienced, I’m so thankful we chose this route. His compassion gave us the opportunity to say goodbye exactly the way we had hoped. I wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone facing this difficult decision. His kindness and humanity are gifts that we’ll never forget.

Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!
Our 14 year old Bullie, Zeus was in extreme pain. His spirit was willing but his body was not.After a quality of life check with our veterinarian we knew it was time. We opted for at home euthanasia for our beloved pup. It was the best decision we made. Through Codapet, we found Dr. Mary Juber. She has such a wonderful spirit that resonates as soon as you meet her. She is kind, patient and considerate. She kept us appraised through the entire process without rushing us.She talked to our pups, making them feel comfortable. Dr. Mary allowed us the time to talk to Zeus while his little “ brother “ Blue stayed with him until the very end. Dr. Mary ensured Zeus left this world in peace and with dignity surrounded by his family and all the things he loved. I would not consider any other way of saying goodbye to my pets in the future. The experience is something we will never forget. Dr. Mary took care of everything and ensured we had resources to help us cope with our grief. Thank you Dr. Mary for all the compassion you provided for us and especially for Zeus.
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Stukey was so amazingly kind, patient, and caring! She created such a gentle way to say goodbye during a very difficult experience. If you are finding yourself at the tough position of having to say goodbye to a beloved pet, she is the vet to help your loved one cross the bridge. ♥️
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Highly recommend to all my pet-loving friends.

Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful.
