Dr. Lane Martin was the best person we could have had there to assist us in the difficult process of putting our girl Dixie to sleep. Dr. Cassie was an angel. She handled us and our pet with love. She took the time to explain things and go at our pace. She gave us every opportunity to spend last moments with our pet. It was such a different experience to say goodbye to our furbaby in his own home, on his favorite blanket, rather than on the cold table at the vet where our buddy already hated going. Losing our 18 year old dog Dallas was heartbreaking however, I am so glad that I chose to do at home euthanasia. It was a very peaceful experience - there was no anxiety from a car ride, no unfamiliar smells or sounds, etc. Dr. Clem is very kind and compassionate, she walked us through each step and gave us as much time as we needed with Dallas. Dr. Clem made a very difficult day a little easier and we are forever grateful for her.
Overall, this was genuinely one of the worst experiences my family has ever had. However, Dr. Ben Litwack was extremely professional and respectful toward our family and our dog, Molly. He made sure everything was taken care of before he left, including things I hadn’t even thought of. I would highly recommend Dr. Ben to anyone facing a similar situation. The website was convenient, and next-day availability was a major benefit. Although the service costs a little extra, it was well worth it for our family.
I highly recommend Dr. Kimberly Campbell. She was super sweet with my Golden Retriever. The entire process was handled slowly and with obvious sensitivity to my beautiful girl as well as to me. Dr. Kim was gentle and kind. My girl played with Dr. Kim right up until she was sedated. The most beautiful way to "let go" when you've run out of ways to keep your precious pet here with you in comfort.
I will forever be grateful for Dr. Brittany Rizzo. She understands what a difficult decision this is to make. She took her time explaining everything, and ensured I was comfortable along the way. Dr. Ayala has put 2 of my dogs to rest in the last 6 months. One 12 year old German shepherd with advanced perianal fissures due to a sudden autoimmune disease and literally last week my almost 16 year old Brittany Spaniel who wanted to stay here mentally and was fighting so bad to be here just couldn't physically. She was vomiting daily for months and after 3k we couldnt figure out what was wrong. She lost 9 lbs and was very fragile. Putting your babies down is the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. Im currently crying writing this because I miss her so much but if you have to make the decision, at home with CodaPet is the way to go.
This is the second time we have had Dr. Murray provide end of life care for a beloved dog. Dr. Murray is the kindest and most professional vet. Our 17 year old Maltese had a sudden illness and it was so comforting to have Dr. Murray there. He gave our family the time and comfort we needed at a devastating time. We would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with the loss of a pet. He even sent us a beautiful bouquet of flowers the next morning to offer his condolences on our loss of Puck. He is an amazing vet!
This review goes beyond the actual service provided. This is about the process and the extreme care and compassion that was part of it. On what was one of the hardest days of my recent memory, Dr. Dzierga was available, attentive, etc; but more importantly was so very compassionate and reassuring throughout. I was an emotional mess having to let my best friend go, but she was instrumental in assuring everything went smoothly and comfortably for him; while being so kind to me as well. I would recommend for anyone having to let their pet go. :(
I highly recommend at home euthanasia as opposed to an impersonal clinic experience. My first dog I ever had was put to sleep at a clinic and it was traumatic for me and my dog. On Friday Oct 24th we made the decision for my Quasi’s eternal rest to be done at home surrounded by his pet parents and dog sister. Dr Sarah was like an angel in human form. She has such a calming nature and aura. She put all my apprehension immediately at ease. My dogs are usually high strung with constant barking once a stranger visits our home. With Dr Sarah, there was not constant barking. Quasi immediately went to her as she sat down. He even let her pet him. He has never done that ever with a stranger. Dr Sarah was knowledgeable and professional. She answered all my questions and listened to stories of Quasi. She never made us feel rushed or like she was on the clock. Such a pleasant and peaceful experience for us and Quasi. Quasi was not scared. He seemed at peace and it looked like he just drifted off to sleep. I can’t recommend Codapet and Dr Sarah Clem enough. When you are going through one of the hardest moments in your life, please consider this option. Dr Sarah was such a blessing for us during the difficult day.
We recently made use of CodaPet's in-home service for our ill senior dog. It was not an easy choice, but we wanted it to be somewhere comfortable and familiar to her. Dr. Goldberg was very kind and professional, and our pet's final moments were peaceful and painless. We greatly appreciate everything she said and did to make this very difficult time just a little bit easier for us. The cost we paid covered Dr. Goldberg's visit, transport to the crematorium, and the return of our pet's ashes. Options such as paw prints were available as well, for anyone who might want or need a last memento. Dr. Goldberg also alerted our primary veterinarian's office of our pet's passing for us, taking one more difficult item off our to-do list. The service--and the emotional support that came with it--was absolutely worth the price, and I do recommend CodaPet for anyone at the unfortunate stage of preparing to say goodbye to a pet.
I knew I needed a woman to help guide me thru this transition and something told me that Dr. Jen was that woman. After reading her reviews I felt in my heart that Jaxon and I would receive the best care and emotional support during the process. We had exceptional service. From the moment I contacted CodaPet, I immediate received a text from Dr. John Murray, giving his cell and text again when he was on his way. When he arrived, he reminded us of our nephew coming to the door. Dr. Murray was so compassionate, asked questions about Parker. He sat on the floor, explained every step, he took great care of Parker (golden retriever) just turned 14 yr old. We knew it was time to send him over the rainbow bridge. We have had several dogs and we all agreed having the vet come to the house was sad, but a good experience, less stress on the dog and the family. The following day I had appointment at our personal vet, and they agree the home service is a great service Thank you Dr. Murray.

Dr Blades helped us a few years ago when the time had come to say goodbye to another of our long time pets and over the years I lost track of him so it was a blessing to see that he was available once again to make it so much easier to say goodbye. Saying goodbye to my Nova was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, but Dr. Buerk made an unbearable moment feel peaceful, compassionate, and incredibly relieving. Nova was my companion and best friend for 15 years. She was with me through so many major milestones in my life, and letting her go was absolutely heartbreaking. I was terrified of that final moment, but Dr. Buerk was so gentle, patient, understanding, and compassionate from beginning to end. She never made me feel rushed. She took the time to explain everything, made sure Nova was comfortable, and allowed us to have the time we needed to say goodbye. The way she spoke to Nova and handled her was so incredibly gentle. I could tell that she understood that Nova wasn't simply a patient. She was my family. What I will remember most is how calm and relieving the experience was. Saying goodbye was still heartbreaking, but Dr. Buerk gave me a sense of peace that I desperately needed. I knew Nova was comfortable, she wasn't suffering anymore, and she was surrounded by love. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Buerk for helping me give my girl the peaceful goodbye she deserved. Dr. Jem Scott-Emuakpor recently helped us send our beloved dog Ralphie to his next chapter. She was absolutely wonderful - calm, patient, kind, gentle with Ralphie. He'd experienced unique medical issues which might have made the process more challenging, but Dr. Scott-Emuakpor's expertise allowed her to adjust the procedures to make them comfortable and streamlined for Ralphie. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Dr. Rob was incredibly caring, patient, and compassionate. He really helped our family on an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking day and we appreciated it.

My old boy was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and imagining having to put him in the car to a vet with a painful bone cancer sounded horrific. Kimberly was extremely accommodating and was easy to communicate with prior to my appointment. She came by and explained everything step by step. She treated him with so much care that this experience was much more peaceful. I recommend doing at home if you can.
It had to be the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. Dr. Karen was a real sweetheart and did an excellent job on making it as easy as possible for me to deal with my loss. She took time to make sure both me and Isabel was comfortable before doing the procedure. Plus going out of her way to meet me to receive Isabel’s ashes. I would highly recommend her to any of my of my pet friends.❤️❤️❤️

She also comforted the dog left behind. I've had to experience multiple natural deaths, vet clinic and home euthanasia visits, this was by far the best experience I've ever had! Dr. Laura Dubose was so kind and calm and allowed our family to be with our Lady girl as she passed peacefully. Perfect in every way. I couldn't have asked for a better situation for our family in one of the hardest moments of our lives. We suddenly had to say goodbye to our dog of 10 years, and I couldn't fathom saying that last goodbye at the vet's office - which he hated. I was able to make an appointment that day online very easily. We got a text message confirmation from the vet who was to come for the appointment. We had Dr. Amanda Harper come to our home, and she was everything we could have asked for. Her kindness, experience, and patience shone so bright. She really took her time and catered to our special situation with our boy who has always been aggressive towards vets and vet techs. After we said goodbye, she let us take our time to grieve and be with him before it was time for him to leave us. We decided on a private cremation, and she helped us go over everything we needed to figure out before she left. They returned his ashes to our home within 48 hours. Our package included a clay paw print with a stand as well. I will never forget her kindness and the ease we felt in such an awful time. Of course, any at home euthanasia will be pricy but it was worth every single penny to us. Thank you Coda pet & we are forever thankful to Dr. Amanda Harper.
On the hardest day, Dave Leatherman was my Abigail’s angel. He was kind, gentle and full of empathy for us and my baby. He talked to Abby in a soft spoken voice that helped put her at ease. He explained the process and lets us take our time with her at each stage. I can’t thank him enough for helping us on such a horrible day.

Dr. Susie Chandler was so patient with us as we kept changing our dog's, Bella's, euthanasia date. When we faced that dreaded day, Dr. Chandler came to our home, she was calm and professional and comforted not only our 17 year old dog but our family. After Bella was laid to rest, she gave me some time to hold our dog and mourn. I'll also add, Dr. Chandler did well with distractions - i.e. our child getting home from school and wanting to be VERY involved and our other dog who just wanted attention. I highly recommend Dr. Krueger. She is very kind and helped me bring a peaceful ending to my cat. I didn’t want to spend her last day stressed out in a car and waiting room, so being able to let her go where she feels comfortable is something I’ll be grateful for forever. I was hesitant to use codapet when I looking to say goodbye at home to my Little Gracie….but took a leap of faith and booked an appointment . The ease of the booking process was the first thing that reduced stress by removing the need to speak as my emotions were running high. Then Dr Karen Morris arrived, she was so compassionate and caring . She made such a sad and devastating moment so beautiful for me to hold my baby girl as she relaxed and her pain ended. Making the decision that it was time to put my 13 year old 90 lb dog Sam to sleep was one of the most difficult ones I have ever had to make. The thought of dragging him to his vet was something I could not face. I picked CodaPet and Dr Gersten from the reviews I found online. The Doctor was extremely compassionate and kind and she made the whole experience peaceful and Sam passed away at home lying on his favorite carpet. Dr. Angela is an "Angel on Earth" When it was time to say goodbye to my sweet Macey Rae, I couldn'thave asked for a better experience. She spoke with me the day before and explained everything to me so I knew what to expect. She showed such compassion, care, patience, and gentleness to my girl. When she arrived she texted me versus ringing the doorbell to not stress Macey and to give me the opportunity to place my other dog outside. She took time to walk me through every step and that helped so much. She took wonderful care of Macey and gave us the time to grieve when it was done and gave my other dog time to say goodbye too. When I walked out with her , she had a beautiful memorial set up in her vehicle which helped me know that my baby was in leaving in great hands. The following week when we brought Macey back home, she delivered Macey herself to my home, which helped me tremendously with working towards closure. I pray that it will be a long time before I have to do this again...but when I do, Dr. Angela will be my first phone call. ❤️

Dr. P was incredibly kind and comforting when it was Blue's time to go. The decision to put down our beloved dog was very hard because he was so trusting of us for his care and there was a nagging doubt of whether it was the right time. Kitty was my baby and I loved her SO much. It was excruciating for me to make the decision to let her go. My Kitty was 16 years old and her health declined in the last couple months. I knew it was time to say goodbye. It brought back painful memories taking my two past cats to the Vet to be "put to sleep". I didn't want her last moments to be scary and stressful. I made the appointment for Dr. Germaine Germundson to come to my house that night at 6:00pm. Dr. Germaine Germundson arrived on time. She set up a little tea light, Jesus figurine, crystal heart, paper heart. It was so thoughtful and beautiful. I cried alot but I felt comfortable and supported. She even texted me later that evening to check on me. A few days later I received a beautiful card from her with some of the heartfelt memories I shared with her about Kitty. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Germaine Germundson.

Dr. Swirble was so unbelievably kind ans patient with me and my family when we had to put our 18 year old baby to sleep. She called beforehand and offered support and guidance on helping us feel comfortable with our decision and made sure our baby was comfortable before hand and walking us through the whole process.
