This is one of the hardest decisions anyone will ever have to make. My 7 year old insisted on being present to say goodbye. Dr. Dzierga is a wonderful person. She didn't rush any moment, we talked about what steps would happen, why, how. Any questions my daughter had she would ensure to answer. We got to talk about good memories we wanted to share, we got to give him all of the treats and see him be excited and happy. She is the sweetest, most professional, and understanding vet doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I am so grateful for her during this terrible time for my family.
So grateful we found CodaPet and Dr. Gary when we needed to move up our appointment because our sweet girl was declining faster than anticipated. Dr. Gary was so gentle, calm, kind and empathetic. He made our goodbye so peaceful and I felt relief that our girl was not suffering anymore. He made a heartbreaking moment much easier to bear. Thank you Dr. Gary.
Unfortunately we had to hire Dr Murray for the second time in 10 months. Fortunately, Dr Murray was just as kind and gentle as the first time. He gave our Bailey his time and listened to his stories. Not only did he listen he genuinely cared and engaged in asking questions about our time with both our dogs. He remembered our first dog by name and made us feel comforted in the knowledge they would be reunited. While I can never say I was happy to see him, I know that he is an excellent caretaker in the hardest moments any pet parent has to experience.

Dr. Sims was an angel on earth for us when it came time to say goodbye to our 13 1/2 year old chocolate lab, Cooper. We had a (slightly wild) vision to say our farewell to him on his favorite beach, and Dr. Sims made that possible for us. She was thorough in her pre-appointment conversation with us, showed incredible passion during our appointment, and made the entire process feel comforting instead of devastating. She let him go for one last wade through the water with the people who loved him, while discreetly working behind the scenes to prepare everything. She sat with us while we fed our boy steak tips and peanut butter cups, before he fell asleep on the ocean's edge chewing on his Whimzee chew. She provided us with as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes, and was sure to follow up afterward to check in with us. Even a week later, her care and compassion were felt when we received a handwritten card in the mail. Dr. Sims is truly a blessing to this world, and I could not recommend her enough for anyone seeking a sweet goodbye for their four-legged friend.

We recently had to say goodbye to our 14.5-year-old dog, Bear, and chose to do so in the comfort of our home. I’m so grateful that Dr. Angela was the person who helped us through it. She was incredibly kind and gentle with both him and us from the moment she arrived. More than anything, she made us feel like there was no wrong way to do any of this. We felt safe asking questions, crying, grieving, and just sitting on the floor together with Bear while she worked around us in our cramped living room. She asked questions about who Bear was, his favorite treats, his personality... Nothing felt clinical or awkward, and nothing was rushed. She explained everything that was going to happen and what we could expect physically and timing-wise. After Bear took his last breaths, she even stepped outside and let us have as much time alone with him as we needed. The back of her car was set up with soft lights and thoughtful little touches that made even that part feel cared for. She was so gentle with him, and it just meant so much to me to know he was in good hands. Saying goodbye to our best friend of 14.5 years was incredibly painful, but she made the experience as peaceful and gentle as it possibly could have been. I’m so thankful for the care and dignity she showed Bear, and for the way she guided us through such a difficult day. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone having to make this decision.
Dr.Gregory-MacDonald assisted us with transitioning our best boy Tommy across the rainbow bridge. We have been there several times before, but this experience was the most personal and special process. Despite the circumstances that brought us to Dr. Angela De Villa, she was absolutely amazing. She was calm, compassionate, and incredibly understanding throughout the entire process. She followed both our cues and Daisy’s, allowing us to move at whatever pace felt right without ever making us feel rushed. During an incredibly difficult and emotional moment, her kindness and patience meant more to us than I can put into words. I’m so grateful Daisy was treated with such gentleness, dignity, and compassion in her final moments.
Putting my soul cat, Snuggie, to sleep was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I live alone, my family is out of state, and I was terrified of facing that moment without the people I love physically there with me. From the second Dr. Briell Dzierga walked into my apartment, she felt less like a veterinarian and more like a personal friend who had come to help me through the worst day of my life. She cried with me. She laughed with me as I shared stories about Snuggie. She hugged me. She gave me time alone with my baby whenever I needed it. She let me keep my mom on FaceTime throughout the entire process so she could be there with us too. She also helped me understand how to include my kitten in the process so she could see and understand that Snuggie was no longer with us. That was something I never would have known how to navigate on my own, and I am so grateful she thought about not only me and Snuggie, but her too. Dr. Dzierga explained everything as we went and moved at our pace. Nothing felt clinical. Nothing felt rushed. She took pictures of me with Snuggie that I will treasure forever. She even helped me get my baby's paw print on my ink pad so I could have that keepsake. She shared her expertise, but she also shared her own understanding of grief and loss in a way that made me feel so much less alone. I truly do not know how I would have gotten through that day without her. Afterward, she sent me the kindest, most personal card. It was so specific to me and Snuggie that I knew she had genuinely been listening to every story and memory I shared with her in between sobbing. I can barely read it without crying, but I will keep it forever. There are some people you meet during the worst moments of your life who you will never forget. Dr. Briell Dzierga is one of those people for me. She is an angel, and I will never not recommend her. Thank you, Dr. Dzierga, for giving Snuggie such a peaceful goodbye and for taking care of me with so much compassion while I said goodbye to my best friend. I will be forever grateful for you.
Was one of the hardest days of my life and Dr. John made it somewhat easier. Was not pushy. Gave me and my kids plenty of time to say our goodbyes and grieve how we wanted. He allowed our dog to pass quietly while eating hamburgers at home without any stress.
Karen was absolutely amazing with my family in helping our cat pass peacefully in our own home. She walked us through everything and helped ease my son's mind. I would absolutely recommend this service and Karen to anyone!
Dr. Dewitt was beyond compassionate and caring. She explained everything and did everything she could to make the process as easy as possible for our little Lacey and us. Unless your pet loves going to the vet, which is unusual, it is just so much easier on them to have someone come to your home where they feel comfortable. The entire experience with Coda from start to finish was the very best it could have been. Dr. Robert was so kind and patient. Scheduling was easy. Our dear girl’s cremains and paw print were delivered early and are beautiful.

Dr. Colleen was fabulous. She was very caring and passionate when it came to our boy Clifford, and putting him down. She explained everything that would happen and what she would do. She even gave us time to spend with him in his last moments. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Colleen and how wonderful it was to have someone here not just for our boy Clifford, but for us also and our family. This is the second time I had Dr. Lutri come to our home for our beloved dog to pass over the rainbow in the comfort of her home . She is simply the best !! I can’t recommend her enough. The fact that it was 2 yrs ago when we first met her and she remembered the small details of that day as if it was yesterday . That shows you what an Amazing , compassionate Vet she is. A Compassionate and Dignified Goodbye for Our Beloved Bruno.🫶😢 Our 13-year-old German Shepherd, Bruno, had reached the point where it was time for him to go run with the dogs of Heaven. He had been our loyal companion and a deeply loved member of our family for many years. We could not bear the thought of his final moments taking place in a cold, unfamiliar veterinary room. We wanted him to be at home, surrounded by the people who loved him, in the place where he felt safest. Dr. Randolph came to our home on Saturday, July 25, to help Bruno pass peacefully. He arrived on time, was extremely professional, and showed an extraordinary amount of compassion—not only toward our family, but toward Bruno as well. Dr. Randolph sat on the floor with us for nearly 45 minutes, talking with us and learning about Bruno and just how special he was. He took the time to make Bruno feel calm and comfortable, and he never once made us feel rushed. He treated Bruno with gentleness, dignity, and genuine care throughout the entire process. After Bruno passed, Dr. Randolph stepped outside and allowed us to have a few private moments with him. When he returned, he continued to move entirely at our pace. At our request, he carefully saved some of Bruno’s fur and created a casting of his paw. To our surprise, the paw casting was placed in a beautiful display case, making it an especially meaningful keepsake. Although we were initially told it could take several weeks for Bruno’s remains to be returned, he was brought back to us in only nine days. His ashes were placed in a beautiful urn, and we also received paw prints, nose prints, and a lovely certificate honoring his life. The cost of at-home euthanasia is higher than a traditional veterinary-office visit, but the peace, dignity, love, and compassion Dr. Randolph provided were worth every penny. Bruno did not have to endure the stress of a car ride or spend his final moments in an unfamiliar environment. Instead, he passed peacefully in his own home, surrounded by love. There is no price that can be placed on being able to say goodbye to a beloved family member with such dignity. For anyone struggling with how to help a cherished four-legged companion pass peacefully, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Randolph and CodePet At-Home Pet Euthanasia. We will always be grateful for the kindness, patience, and compassion shown to Bruno and our entire family during one of the most difficult moments of our lives.
We had to say goodbye to our boy Joe and Dr. Warren was incredibly compassionate and supportive throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything, answer our questions, and regularly checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay. We were given plenty of time to say goodbye to our boy, and Dr. Warren handled all of the final arrangements with such care and compassion, allowing us to focus on Joe and each other during such a difficult time. Dr. Allison was so extremely kind and caring. She answered all of my questions ahead of time, kept in contact to let me know the status of where Sadie was afterward in moving her to be aquamated, and when she was ready to come home. She made the experience extremely calm and has been so very very kind. Sadie’s passing was peaceful and loving. Sadie never enjoyed strangers much, but Dr. Allison made all of us comfortable. She got down on the floor with me while I held Sadie and explained everything that was going to happen. She let me make decisions and had so much empathy. She even sent me a hand-written sympathy card. Thank you so much.

Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Jessica Pruitt! It was a hard decision (as it always will be) when its time for our "buddies" to have to leave us:( but Dr. Jessica is so gentle and kind. She explains everything, is very patient and my Molly just warmed right up to her which made things even easier. When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. Dr. Nakaya guided us through the process with understanding and treated Giggsy with such tenderness and respect. We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Highly recommend to all my pet-loving friends.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.

Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
