It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Dr. Dzierga made the saddest, most difficult time more than bearable for us. She explained all she was doing every step of the way, but most importantly she treated our dog with all the love and respect that we felt she deserved. She gave us the time we needed to say goodbye, she was kind and caring. This was our first in-home experience, and we wouldn’t do it any other way now. We felt blessed to have Dr. Dzierga with us on this saddest journey, and would highly recommend her to anyone facing this difficult decision.
Very patient and kind. Will talk with you as if she had no other patients to attend to. Very comforting when our little guy was ready for doggy heaven. She never gave the impression she had other families that needed her at the moment and she took all the time we needed to get through the passing of our little man. She is the one we will always go to when the need is there !!
We are so grateful that Dr. Courtney White was available to us, last minute nonetheless. We were able to say goodbye to our precious boy Radar in his favorite spot in our backyard. Dr. White was so kind and compassionate, explaining the process as it progressed, allowing us to make the decisions we could. She truly understood the bond we had with our boy. Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.

This was one of the worst days of my life but having Dr. Jenny Krueger with us during the process really made a huge difference! Not once was the family rushed and she made our Murphy so comfortable. From the special treats and cheese wiz to the compassion she showed to our Murphy made the process so peaceful for us and Murphy. I usually do not write reviews but during a time like this you need someone special like this by your side.
Genuinely cannot recommend this service and Dr. Murray enough. Making that hard decision and saying goodbye to our Luna was extremely difficult… But having the option to keep her comfortable, where she felt the safest (her corner on the couch) during her last moments meant everything to us and felt like the very least we could do after the 12 years she gave us. Dr. Murray was extremely compassionate and thorough, explaining the whole process beforehand, as well as during each step. Our family can be a lot to handle at times so i especially appreciate how he was able to adapt to our dynamic in a way that didn’t feel forced. I don’t wish the heartache on anyone… but when that time does unfortunately come, I cannot recommend Dr. Murray enough.
Saying goodbye to our beloved dachshund Lily was one of the most painful moments of our lives, but thanks to Dr. Lisa Stadler with CodaPet, it was also one of the most peaceful and compassionate. Dr. Lisa, a retired veterinarian, brought a gentle presence and deep empathy into our home—qualities that made an unbearable day a little more bearable. Her kindness and professionalism helped guide my wife and me through the process with grace and dignity. We are overwhelmingly grateful that Lily was able to pass in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the space and the things she loved most. Holding her in my arms as she went peacefully was a blessing I will never forget. The communication with CodaPet was seamless, and scheduling the appointment was simple—something I deeply appreciated during such an emotionally difficult time. When she walked in she just started chatting and before long it felt like we’d been friends for a long time. Throughout the steps of the “procedure” she gave us as much time with Charlie as we needed. She did reassure us that we had made the right call on Charlie’s behalf. She let our granddaughter help her with placing Charlie on the stretcher to carry him out to her car. She was very compassionate and we would highly recommend her.
Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.
Dr. Pilago showed so much care and compassion when we had to make the painful decision to put our handsome pup Rodney to sleep. I highly recommend her.

Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Dr.Lutri did An amazing job , Didn't feel rushed very comforting and careing on my hardest decision I had make , I will always miss my boy but I know hes not in pain no more. THANK YOU Dr. Daniela Lutri for helping me get through that in the comfort of my own home. Would highly recommend her if and when its time to say goodbye to your fur babys.
My beautiful boy let me know it was his time on a Saturday morning. After multiple inquiries, Dr. Courtney had the earliest availability for late afternoon on Sunday to come to the house to put my baby to sleep. This was an ideal time so my family and I could say our goodbyes and spend what time we had left with him together. She did offer to come later in the morning on Sunday, if needed, but I kept the 4pm appointment. She arrived on time, was soft spoken, kind, compassionate, and took her time to explain the process, set clear expectations, and answer questions since this was our first experience with at-home euthanasia. She waited until we were ready before administering the sedative/anesthesia, and again with the medication to put him to final rest. She made his clay paw impression afterwards, so not to disturb him before since dogs typically don’t like their paws to be touched. And she then gave us time to privately be with him, and to let her know when we were ready for her to come back inside so she could place him on a stretcher to go in her car. We never felt rushed and he passed peacefully and overall a positive experience, given the circumstances, and gives me comfort during this difficult time. Incredibly grateful that my sweet boy was able to be in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Dr. Delia could not have been more compassionate in her work with me and my dog. Her presence, gentleness and pacing all contributed to a peaceful process at this heartbreaking time. Would recommend her to anyone facing the same situation.

Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Thank you so much Dr.Todd in doing what has to be one of the world’s toughest jobs!

Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Dr Delia came to our house shortly after I reached out. She was kind and compassionate and made Mia’s transition calm, pain free and peaceful. She is an amazing human and is excellent at what she does. I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr Delia.
When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.
Dr. April Le Blanc helped us through a very difficult day with kindness and compassion. Her calm presence, helped soothe our breaking hearts. Dr. Lisa made herself available for a last-minute urgent call for us and she couldn’t have been more lovely and caring. This is obviously a challenging and sad time for anyone in the position to call. She treated it with reverence and kindness. Feel lucky to have had her.
Dr. Gordon performed the euthanasia for my sweet soul dog of 16 years. It was the most peaceful experience I could’ve asked for. She knew exactly what to say and created such a calm environment to spend our final moments together. I’m very grateful for her service.
Dr. Miranda Collins showed great compassion toward my dog and to me & my grandson. She made sure my dog was comfortable and put us at ease before the procedure. I highly recommend dr. Collins for euthanasia. It’s a hard decision to make but she helped us with her compassion.
This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! Dr. Murray was incredibly compassionate, professional and a comfort during my goodbye to my soul dog. He explained everything clearly, and calmly, before and as it was happening, and did so with extreme care and consideration. The experience was as peaceful and beautiful as it could have been - my sweet boy said goodbye listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. I am grateful to Dr. Murray, for his clinical skills, and humanity, on a very sad day.
Dr Yang was extremely respectful and thoughtful during such a challenging day. She explained the process and what to expect, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to Mocha. We were sent a handwritten condolences card after she passed and Dr. Yang even hand delivered Mocha's ashes to us when we expressed our street experiences package thieves.
Dr. Mills was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. She made sure to take extreme care of my boy, Gus. He was full of joy and peace all the way until the end. I appreciate the service she was able to provide and would recommend her to anyone looking to go through a similar process.
Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Dr John was everything we needed that day. Patient, understanding, compassionate and professional. This service was a bright spot in a very dark time. I called every vet in the area about an in home visit for my 230 lb Great Dane Hercules. He went down after a car ride and did not get back up. He was the best dog, my best friend, and protector when it was not a plastic bag caught in the fence. He made an impression on all who knew him, so when this happened we were all devastated. Since the local vets were not in a charitable way I turned to google to find a solution. It was God sent. When it was time to make this hard decision they were there. There was no available appointment for the next few days, so I signed up for an emergency appointment. With in 2 hours I had a spot for the next morning. I have full communication with the vet as soon as the appointment was booked. Doctor P. I can’t believe how amazing she is. She was so kind, respectful, and just a beautiful soul. She was professional and caring. She never referred to my dog as anything other than his name. She asked questions about the situation and look at Herc to make sure that it was not something simple, and explained how the process would work. She told us every move she made and insured that we were good with it. She was gentle and caring with my Herc. She waited for my nod when it was time. He went very peacefully. For some reason it ment so much to me that she bandaged his leg after the process. She stepped out and give my family some time. Once that was finished we helped get him loaded and she took him. She was so kind. It was the best experience that I could have hoped for. She contacted me later that evening to go over the payment before it was submitted. She made it possible for me to have his ashes sent back to me when I thought there wouldn’t be a way. Because of her kindness I get to keep my Herc with me. I received him early this week. She made this process as good as it could be and I could not recommend this service and Doctor P more. I would give this higher than 5 stars if possible. I would not think twice to recommend this service and Doctor P to anyone facing this incredibly difficult situation. THANK YOU AGAIN SO MUCH, and GOD BLESS YOU DOCTOR P!!!
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Dr whala was awesome. She was very professional and compassionate. This is the first time I have used this service and I will always use this service. My dog Ranger was calm and peaceful as he passed away. Not stressed or worried like in a hospital environment. Whala was like family when she was there and made the experience of losing your pet a more dignified and peaceful one .
We found Dr. Alexander to be kind, attentive, respectful, and empathetic. She took the time to explain everything that was to happen. She was gentle and made his departure much easier for us and him! Dr. Robert was wonderful. He arrived earlier than anticipated but let us take our time saying goodbye to our buddy. He explained everything clearly so our children would understand the process and put their hearts and minds at ease. It was a difficult time, but Dr. Robert made the pain a little more manageable.
Dr Jen was excellent and I would highly recommend. She took the time to make all of us comfortable including our other dogs. She us compassionate, gentle, supportive and very calming in a seriously emotional situation. I do highly recommend her!
My little cat Tiger was diagnosed with... My little cat Tiger was diagnosed with FIV. A week after his vet visit he developed FACT. His back legs were not working and he was miserable. I scheduled an appointment for 10:00am the next morning. I hoped and prayed he didn't get worse throughout the night. I received a text from Dr. Kerstin Stucky. She was on her way to bed but knew how bad things might get before my scheduled appointment. She came to the house at 12:30am. She was fantastic. Very kind, compassionate and very professional. My baby boy passed away at home very peacefully. I cannot say enough about how important it is to have this service available for your pet in their own home by this company. I would highly recommend using them when the time comes to make that hard decision.
Everything went very well with Dr. Guerrero. She let us take our time to say our goodbyes and then gave our cat the sedative. She got comfortable and sleepy in my wife’s lap and then went right to sleep when she got the IV medication. Would highly recommend.

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.
Dr. Christina was truly a blessing during one of the hardest moments of our lives. This was our first time going through euthanasia, and she was so warm, gentle, and understanding from the moment she arrived. Her calm, steady voice helped us breathe through the heartbreak, and she explained every step with such compassion that we never felt lost or afraid. When it was time for our sweet boy to be placed in her vehicle, we were completely moved. She had it set up with a soft dog bed, a cozy blanket, flowers, and candles — it felt like a little sanctuary. It was one of the most touching, respectful, and caring gestures we’ve ever experienced. We chose to have our dog’s ashes returned to us, and about a week later she personally brought them back. The urn was beautiful, and it even had a built‑in shaker so we can scatter his ashes if and when we’re ready. Every detail showed thoughtfulness and respect. Dr. Christina made an unbearable day just a little softer. Her compassion, professionalism, and genuine care for both our dog and our family meant everything. We are so grateful for her.
Dr Magnotta reached out to me on my cell phone after I made my appointment for the last time available which happened to be 1:00pm. When I told her my husband was home but I would be taking my lunch break but would be home by 1:00, She asked if I had planned to return to work, I told her I had to because I just came back from vacation the day before. Dr Magnotta offered to come later so I didn’t have to go back to work. I thought that was very thoughtful and empathetic but I don’t get out work until 5pm and I couldn’t expect her to wait till then when 1:00 was the only appointment time left. She assured me that was fine and that I shouldn’t have to go back to work after such an ordeal. I was able to finish my work day and go home and be with our Sophie before the Doctor arrived. My husband had Sophie were outside in the back yard on a small blanket near the picnic table, it was one of her favorite spots. Upon Dr Magnottas arrival she text me to tell me she was there and I met her in the driveway. From the moment she introduced herself I felt at ease. She was very sincere and caring. It was like Sophie was her own. She explained everything she was going to do before she did it. We have another younger Golden, Annabelle and Sophie was not only her best bud but was also her sister. Annabelle had no idea what was about to happen but after Dr Magnotta gave Sophie the sedative we let Annabelle come outside to be with us. Dr Magnotta was so understanding, kind and gentle to all of us. She stayed after Sophie passed from this life, took paw prints for us, patiently and graciously listened to stories about Sophie and our other animals. We are fortunate enough to be able bury Sophie on our property so no other arrangements needed to be made. Dr Magnotta was knowledgeable and gave advice to us about our other animals on flea and tick prevention. Spoke to us about the grieving process not only for us but for our other animals also. My husband and I had to put down two other dogs in our past but it was at our veterinary office and it was a totally different experience and in experiencing both sides we will always use codapet.com moving forward. Highly recommend them and Dr Magnotta.

The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.
It was such an impossible day … saying goodbye to my best friend. Still breaks my heart just typing that out. I was grateful to be able to do it at home and keep the final moments peaceful and calm. It meant everything to me. Elizabeth was present and calming, informative without saying too much, and deeply respectful throughout the process. I’m glad I chose her.
Dr. Katie was amazing! She handled everything so professionally yet personally too. Ruger will be so missed by many (as she can attest to, she said it was the biggest crowd she'd had, there were 9 of us) and I will never take my pets to a cold impersonal clinic to pass if I can help it. Having your pet pass at home where they're comfortable and familiar was such a blessing!

When it came time to make the decision no fur baby parent wants to make I found Coda and so glad I did. I found great peace of mind knowing there was flexible scheduling to make sure it was the right time and not just what was available. Knowing that my sweet girls last day would not be stressful from a car ride or being at the vet, she would be home, was a great comfort for us both. Dr. Houck reached out before to get some information and was so incredibly kind, friendly, helpful, and respectful. During everything she communicated everything that was and would happen and helped after with mementos. It’s hard to call one of the saddest days you’ll experience as good, but it was as good as you could hope for. I would choose Dr. Houck and having my sweet Evie pass peacefully in her home over again without question or hesitation.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. McWreath and the compassionate care she provided as we said goodbye to our beloved dog, Remi. Dave was absolutely amazing. It’s been just over 2 weeks and while we miss our girl more than ever, I am so grateful we went this route which provided her and all of our family so much comfort. Dave was so kind and polite and just truly the best person that could have come into our home to help us during this time. He was patient with us, let us talk as much as we wanted and he was so respectful and sweet to our Roo. He also made sure to give the other animals in our home love and attention as well. Overall Dave is personable and warm and truly cares about what your fur baby and your family are going through. Whenever our family may have to do this in the future, I hope Dave is still close by. If you have to make this hard decision, Dave is a wonderful person to walk you through this process.
We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
Dr Perzak was so very compassionate and sympathetic. She was loving to our Sally and made the whole heart breaking experience easier.. Sally was calm and relaxed before the procedure started. It was very humane and peaceful. As hard as it was to loose her I was pleased with how easy it was on her because of Dr. Perzak Thank you♥️
We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
Dr. Stukey was so amazingly kind, patient, and caring! She created such a gentle way to say goodbye during a very difficult experience. If you are finding yourself at the tough position of having to say goodbye to a beloved pet, she is the vet to help your loved one cross the bridge. ♥️
What happened to Sophie was so traumatic and scary for all of us. We were blessed to have Dr. Jamie Pickett guide us and help as we said goodbye to our baby girl, Sophie. We felt an immediate sense of calm when Dr. Pickett arrived at our home. She talked us through everything step by step. She was respectful to Sophie and us. If we ever need these services again, we will call Dr. Pickett. The sound of Sophie's paw prints is missed, but her love and memories are ingrained in our hearts forever! Our Sophie girl crossed the rainbow bridge with peace and dignity, due to you, Dr. Pickett. Thank you!

We’re grateful our senior pet was able to be surrounded by his people and pet sibling in the privacy of his own home when he passed. Dr. Murray was accommodating to our and requests and was compassionate and communicative throughout the entire process. We can’t thank Dr. Murray enough.

Dr. Katie Todd was so kind and informative. She explained the process and answered all of our questions. Our sweet girl is at peace and out of pain and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. And Dr. Lisa Feig more than meets that requirement. A million thanks to her and Coda Pet.
