We suddenly found ourselves in an unbearable situation with our 17-year-old dog, Teddy. His health declined so quickly, and we had to rush to find someone who could help us say goodbye at home. Thankfully, we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Lisa. She came to our house with such humility, patience, and compassion. She listened as we cried and asked a million questions, gently reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet boy. She never rushed us, she gave us the space and time we needed to say goodbye. As heartbreaking as it was, Teddy passed peacefully and comfortably in our arms. Dr. Lisa treated him with love, dignity, and respect, and made sure he was safely transported for cremation. She even followed up with us afterward to reassure us he had arrived where he needed to go. Losing Teddy has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we have no regrets choosing Dr. Lisa. She gave our boy the most loving, gentle passing we could have hoped for.
When it was time to cross our beloved fur baby over, we used CodaPet. We have used another at-home pet euthanasia company, but our last experience with them was very unpleasant. Dr. Daniela Lutri came to our home and assisted our fur baby to cross over. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Lutri for the extraordinary compassion and care she provided during a difficult moment in our lives. Saying goodbye to our beloved fur baby was heartbreaking, but Dr. Lutri’s presence brought a sense of peace and dignity to the experience that we will never forget. From the moment she arrived, Dr. Lutri was kind, gentle, and incredibly patient. She took the time to ask us about our fur baby, and our fur baby’s health issues. As she became acquainted with our fur baby, she pointed out some other health issues that were obvious to her. Hearing Dr. Lutri share them with us validated that we were making the right decision. Dr. Lutri explained everything to us with tenderness and respect, allowing us to move at our own pace. Her calm and compassionate demeanor created a safe space for our family to grieve and say goodbye. The way Dr. Lutri guided our baby through her final moments was nothing short of beautiful. It was peaceful, serene, and filled with love—exactly what we had hoped for. Knowing our fur baby passed in the comfort of her home, surrounded by love and without fear, has brought us immense comfort in our grief. Dr. Lutri is truly a gift to families navigating the loss of a cherished companion. Her work is more than a service—it’s a calling, and we are forever thankful for her grace and empathy.
Dr. DZierga made the sad process of saying goodbye so much more comforting. She was professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and truly showed care and concern while helping us to send our beloved Lucy to Heaven. Dr. Duvall did a fantastic job easing our dog out of this world, and in tending to our human needs and concerns as well. She really went the extra mile and was full of compassion for all of us. I can't imagine how the inherently difficult situation could have been made any easier.

I cannot express enough the gratitude I feel for Dr. Lisa Feig. It was heart wrenching knowing I had to say goodbye to my precious Dottie before she began to suffer. We loved her so much. With that said, Dr. Lisa Feig made the experience so much easier and peaceful for our sweet girl. I knew Dottie was not in pain and crossed over in the most peaceful way. Dr. Feig is the most compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor anyone could ask for. Anyone who has Dr. Feig in their life as wife, mother, daughter, friend--is an extremely lucky person. She was so giving of her time and patience. I recommend at home euthanasia to everyone. Having your loved one home, comfortable in their surroundings is really the best option. I hated the idea of her being at a hospital or vet clinic in a sterile environment. I got to hold her and tell her how pretty she was and how loved she was. And all the while, Dr. Feig demonstrated such genuine compassion. My fiancé and I were blown away. It takes a special person to do this type of job. Dr. Randall and his team showed exceptional compassion and professionalism during one of the most difficult times of our lives. He allowed us all the time we needed to be with our little man, McNabb, and treated him with the utmost care, dignity, and respect. Best decision ever. While my heart is broken, this option of a kind, gentle passing in our home, with no anxiety for my sweet girl was a blessing for both of us. Dr. Gibson was so sweet and compassionate. It is obvious she was born to do exactly this. Her respect for my baby was so comforting. I won't ever go a different route again.
Dr Whala has helped us through the passing of two of our dogs with a kind, compassionate, caring understanding of what we as pet owners are going through. When Dr Whala came out recently to help with what we thought was a final goodbye to our girl Bindi she let us know that Bindi had a tumor but with some medicine she recommended we were able to be with Bindi an additional 2 months. Dr Whala has a true understanding of what we as dog owners feel about our furry friends, she knows they are our family and we love them with all our hearts. There is never any rush when Karen visits your home for the final goodbye, the last moments of our babies is so difficult and Karen understands the pain we are going through. There isn't anyone I could ever recommend that would be better to help with the final goodbye for your beloved pets.
In my life I have been blessed to have a few dogs. Saying goodbye is part of the price we pay. Dr. Gordon made this horrible time easier. I will be eternally grateful for the kindness and compassion she showed not only our precious Baby Girl but also us.
It's the service you never want but when it comes I was so thankful for Dr. Todd. She was so compassionate and patient with us. Our sweet cat was able to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of his home without the stress of being moved to a vets office in his final hours. She even brought his ashes back to us. I can't thank her enough for this. We also had to move his appointment up and she was quick to move to his needs. I hope I don't need their services for a long time for my other fur babies but I will use her again in the very, very distant future.
Myself and my husband had been discussing Charlie’s quality of life for a few days and on Sunday morning we knew it needed to be scheduled as soon as possible. We were able to schedule with Dr. Anna Peterson on Sunday afternoon. Neither of us had been with a pet during Euthanasia and had no idea what to expect. I had been crying for previous 48 hours. Dr. Peterson was a gift to our family. Having an at home option in rural MN was the best thing we could do for our sweet boy. I have felt such relief knowing he passed comfortably at home. We recently had to say goodbye to our sweet dog, D.O.G., and Dr. Laura Dubose was the one who came to help us. She was incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate through the entire process. This was definitely the way to give your baby wings. My dog was very afraid of the vet office, and i did not want him to be on his last day on earth. Dr Anna was on time, very loving, caring and made us all feel at ease with going forward. She even brought a treat for him, and my very usually picky dog ate it! We had to say goodbye to our pup Leo, who we had for 16 years, and it was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. Leo had advanced kidney disease and his health quickly deteriorated. We had scheduled a Coda Appointment with Dr. Derecka Alexander for a Tuesday, but Leo’s health took a turn for the worse on a Sunday. I emailed Coda Pet to ask if there was any possibility any Vet could come out sooner. Dr. Alexander immediately contacted me and made herself available in our time of need. We were so appreciative of Dr. Alexander’s compassion and kindness in helping our beloved pup Leo cross over the rainbow bridge, especially after it became urgent. She made a very difficult experience of us having to say goodbye to our pup more manageable. We chose to get a Vet to come to our home for our final goodbye to our Leo because we wanted him to be surrounded by the warmth of our love, the comfort of his family, and the smells and sounds he has always known. I wanted his last memories to be of us — his family — holding him, kissing him, thanking him. Thank you, Dr. Alexander, for allowing us to provide that to our pup Leo.
We were so emotional about the whole thing but knew we did not want to take him to the vet to let him go. She was so patient and compassionate, she made it as easy as it could possibly be. She personally returned his ashes to us and again made it so easy to let our beloved pet go. It was a blessing to find her.
Thank you to Dr. Ross. Daniella was so empathetic and loving. She gave us all the time we needed with our little furry soul. It is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions ever to be made. It has been 2 weeks since Henry has passed over the rainbow bridge. We have been beside ourselves with grief but knowing he left this physical plane surrounded by love in the comfort of his home - I would not change it for anything. We miss him so much, but Daniella was able to help us through the moment. Highly recommend.
So glad I went this route with Dr. Rebecca and her assistant. They came to the rescue at the perfect time when I couldn't find help for my dog's transition to heaven. They made the experience so pleasant for me and my family that I wouldn't have it any other way. They truly made me feel I made the best decision when having to say goodbye to my baby girl. Dr. Murray is by far the best experience we have ever had when we have had to say goodbye to our fur babies. She is very patient and empathetic and gives us time to say our goodbyes.
Dr. Kim was an absolute angel! She made the passing of our sweet Belle (15 year old blue tick) so much easier. Her compassion and just overall presence during such a hard time was so comforting. I will be recommending the at home service to anyone I know who has an elderly dog.
Dr. Cory made what was a heartbreaking decision and day so much easier for us to get through. We had our doubts about if it was “the right time” or if we were doing “the right thing”. Dr. Cory took the time to help us become comfortable with the decision we made (over the phone prior and at our home the day of). We were blown away by the compassion and sincere empathy she showed us. She is a genuine, kind, respectful person who goes above and beyond to be a source of strength for those who are experiencing the loss of a loved companion. Being able to be share our Boxer Dog Sammi’s last moments with her in the privacy and comfort of our home allowed us to grieve and also celebrate Sammi’s amazing life without distractions or the discomfort of being in the presence of strangers at a veterinary office. Although we never met Dr Cory prior, it felt as if she was also part of our “pack” and was celebrating Sammi’s life and greiving along with us. Thank you for everything, Dr. Cory.
When Dr Martin arrived, my little guy Barney ran to the door to greet him like he did all guests. He even barked at him, before jumping up to him to get attention. Dr Martin greeted him back, warmly and sincerely. He was playful with Barney while explaining the process to us. Lane made a horrible no win situation more acceptable with his calm demeanor and soothing words. I can't thank Dr Martin enough for helping little Barney come to peaceful end to his life's journey.
Dr. Daniela Lutri was amazing. This was a really hard time for my family and she was very compassionate. She answered any questions thoroughly and described the process step by step. I would highly recommend Dr. Lutri to anyone who is struggling the process.
Dr. Becca was exactly who my family needed when it came time to say goodbye to our sweet rescue boy. Because our pup was particular with who he allowed near him, we needed someone with very calm and gentle energy and Dr. Becca was very much that person. Having to say goodbye is always hard, but Dr. Becca and her assistant made an excruciating time, less so. My family highly recommends Dr. Becca when your family decides the time has come.
Dr. Amanda Harper was the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and took her time with us and our dog. Smokey was relaxed and felt very loved, at home, with his family. I would never choose to do it differently if we were ever to be in that situation again. This service made a terrible situation as easy as it could ever be. Best dog, best friend - my fluff of life. Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things I have ever done. My heart still aches as I see my baby in the shadows. Dr. Rebecca Walton was wonderful. She made sure Cody was comfortable using a sedative. She put him to sleep while I held him. And when I was ready, she helped me to let him go. She was kind, supportive and compassionate. And while I never want to see her again, if I ever need to do this again I will be searching for her. Coda Pet provided a wonderful service. Dr. Elizabeth Parks truly was an angel that made the whole experience of it being our mastiff Frasier's time to pass. The support and service was absolutely personalized, not rushed, we felt validated, heard, we had choices and power/control over many aspects of the experience- something my husband was really fearful of not being able to do due to Frasier's trust issues with others (not liking to be looked in the eyes by people outside of the family, growling, etc.). Frasier had a history is distrust and intense fear/insecurities when it came to any vet clinic or individual in various roles. Vet visits were typically traumatic in nature for Frasier as well as my husband due to him needing a muzzle, having to be sedated for every visit... despite the reason for the appt. Dr. Elizabeth Parks truly cared about Frasier and us despite just meeting us. She offered text and phone call support beforehand, offered advice when desired and listened. She absolutely cared about Frasier, our other dog Donnie and my family. My husband and I cannot get over how amazing she was. There was no judgement felt with what we chose and how we were managing the loss of our baby. She respected Frasier's boundaries and read our body language- her timing was perfect in regards to supporting those involved, answering questions and giving us time alone with Frasier. Thank you so much! We are so grateful for choosing this in-home service to help our Frasier pass. We highly recommend to anyone in similar situations. In-home euthanasia was something that helped Frasier pass without intense stress and trauma. Thank you, thank you!
Dr. Nicolette Michelli truly made the difference for us. Having to say goodbye to a family member will always be heartbreaking, but the peaceful manner in which we were able to do it brought us a lot of comfort. Dr. Michelli was kind and gentle in her communications and presence. She made herself fully available before and after. Her manner made the process easy and she had great advice for how to handle our other pups saying goodbye. There were a lot of little things she did and offered that showed how considerate and caring she is of our pets and family. It really touched us that she continued to pet our Dacoda even after she passed. We were able to say goodbye as Dacoda slept in our lap, paws in the grass and sun shining on her fur. We would highly recommend if anyone is considering.

We are deeply thankful to Dr. Shannon Nakaya for the care and compassion she showed during our beloved dog Giggsy’s final moments. Saying goodbye was an incredibly painful decision and a very difficult day for us, but her kindness, patience, and gentle approach helped ease the burden. The form for the service was very easy to complete. I appreciated this since making this decision was very difficult and I was fraught with emotion. I wanted my beloved cat Buddy to have a pain free transition at our home. He was 18 years. His decline was rapid; he became extremely ill in the span of a week with advanced kidney disease. Dr. Lutri was so gentle and loving to Buddy. She explained every step of the process and asked me before each step if I was ready to move to the next. Dr. Lutri was gracious, kind, and compassionate. She has the most peaceful, calm, loving presence and a profound caring for the pets she serves and their pet guardians. She comforted me greatly as she took care of my magnificent boy. She genuinely understood the magical connection I had with Buddy and treated him so tenderly when she put his sweet body into a beautiful bed to transport him the the crematorium. I felt like Dr. Lutri was an angel sent to me in my dire time of need and loss. She was exceptional in every way. She is a talented doctor overflowing with empathy and understanding who is beautiful inside and out.

Wanda was 14 years old. She was such a big part of our family, we couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her at the vet’s office. Everyone was here with her, including Kiko our 6 year old rescue. Dr John was everything we needed that day. Patient, understanding, compassionate and professional. Our entire experience from start to finish was positive as it could possibly be! Lisa was a great communicator, kind and compassionate. We scheduled our appointment a couple days out, during that time she was in contact through text, gave us support and advice and keeping our kitty the most comfortable. Being able to say goodbye Angel, in her own home, meant so very much to all of us. Lisa was very organized and professional provided excellent medical support for our cat and emotional support for us. Dr. Delia Gregory-Macdonald is an angel on Earth. The time came to put down our 13 year old family dog. I wanted this to be done in the familiar comfort of our home. Why is it that the kindest thing you can do for your pet is probably the hardest decision you will have to make? I have had to go down this road too many times and on October 21st I had to do this again for my 14 year old Maltese mix. I knew we would make the transition happen at home and I was so fortunate to find Dr. Kelli Bales, DVM. Her gentleness and compassion and kindness were exactly what I needed to make this peaceful for my best buddy. She even brought a special treat for him to enjoy as a final desert. She was very compassionate and caring. I'm still distraught, but she helped us get through a very difficult time. I would definitely recommend her. I had to put another baby to sleep 15 years ago, and we took him to the vet. This time our Lucy was in her front yard with all her friends around her and she just went to sleep.
When we had another cat put to sleep in a hospital it was very clinical. Garfield had an IV and was drugged. This time Dr. Noe made it a very peaceful passing. We were with her the entire time and she was able to be at home until the end. This is the best way for a pet to pass.

Putting my beloved Avery down was the hardest day of my life. While there is no easy way to do that, Dr. Noe made the experience so much better. From the moment she came to my house, her calm presence put everyone at ease, including my dog. She was professional, yet spoke as if she had known Avery for years. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby without feeling rushed. After Avery passed, Dr. Noe gave a heartfelt speech and hugged us all. I couldn't imagine having to euthanize in any other way.

Dr. Delia is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She gave us peace of mind by answering all of our questions and throughly explaining what our baby girl was experiencing. We are so happy that our Mira was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
Dr. Stewart truly put at at ease. She was extremely caring and spent the time to get to know us and our baby. She walked us through the process and it was a very peaceful experience. We debated on taking him to the vet's office but ultimately decided it was worth the expense to have him be comfortable and for us all to be in a peaceful place for his passing. I was so appreciative of Dr. Schimillen, he kindness , care and professionalism. Being able to stay home and take care of my sweet girl made a very difficult situation a little less difficult. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the difficulty in gaining access. I realize that some pets are more difficult. Thank you,
We decided to use CodaPet when it was time for us to make that decision for our sweet 14 year old St Bernard, Fiona. It was the best thing we could have done. Dr Jason Doolittle made sure the experience was peaceful and went at a pace we were comfortable with. He explained in detail everything that would happen and was very gentle with Fiona. Thank you for providing a service that allows our fur family to go peacefully in their homes surrounded by comforting faces and love.

She was so calming and supportive of our whole family going through this difficult time. Took the time to share with us every step of the process and when it was time to do each thing. Gave us plenty of time to say goodbye, before and after. She made our Dusty's journey over the rainbow bridge very peaceful, and help us go through it.

Dr Delia was very compassionate and explained the entire process in a way that was easy for us to understand. Originally we didn’t think we were going to want his ashes, but the thought of not having him back home was gut wrenching so I contacted her on the weekend to inquire if we would still be able to bring our sweet joy home. This was a new experience for me. I’ve had pets pass, but it was always done at my local animal hospital. This time, for my soul cat (you know, that one animal that enters your life and they become so deeply attached to you, and you to them) I wanted him to pass at home in my arms. Dr. Michelli was amazing. She is so calm, caring, and understanding. She gave me all the time I needed in between steps to say goodbye and love on my boy. He went to sleep in my arms as I wanted (and as I needed). This was what my boy deserved, and I glad I chose Codapet vs going into a vet. I highly recommend Codapet and Dr Michelli . Mac was my first pet- my kitty cat of 18 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a buddy for so long. So when he showed signs of his time being up, I knew from a friend -in home pet euthanasia- was a peaceful goodbye. Dr. John Murray was beyond thoughtful and professional with amazing bedside manner. Mac had a wonderful last day at home and I held him in my arms as we said goodbye. It was beyond hard, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way looking back. Mac hated his car carrier, the car, a vet office is so cold. We were in our beautiful, sunny room, comfortable and well, I’d want to go the same way! Thank you again for being so wonderful to our sweet baby.
Karen Duncan was a true blessing during this difficult time and I feel so blessed to have had her in those final moments! She is best! And I thank her so very much!
Dr. Randolph went above & beyond for my dog Rocco & myself. This was an incredibly hard thing to go through and Dr. Randolph is such a caring and relatable person to where you will feel like he has known you & your pet your entire lives. Being able to say goodbye to my big guy in our home was incredibly important to me & I am forever grateful Dr. Randolph gave me the option of being able to do that. He collected special keepsakes of my dog. And he kept in close communication with me during the weeks leading up to having to say goodbye while my dog was In home hospice care. Thank you Matthew for everything you have done for my big guy and me. I know him & my husband are in Heaven together now and that brings me comfort.
Faced the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 18 year old Papillon and used Codapet to do it in our home as our dog hated to go to the vet. Dr. Katie Todd arrived and explained in detail the process, gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, and made the process as easy as possible. She was very reassuring to my children that we had made the right decision and explained all the options for taking care of the remains and provided us with keepsakes to ease the family’s pain. Thank you so much Dr.Todd in doing what has to be one of the world’s toughest jobs!
Dr. Ann was truly incredible. She came to our home to help our sweet Morkie, Leila, cross the rainbow bridge, and I can’t express how grateful we are for her compassion. From the moment she arrived, she was gentle, calming, and so respectful of our emotions. She walked us through every step with such kindness and made sure Leila was comfortable, peaceful, and surrounded by love. During one of the hardest moments of our lives, she created an environment of peace that we will never forget. I would recommend her without hesitation. We are forever thankful for the gentle, loving care she gave our little girl.
