Our sweet Bella, the calico in the front, passed away at the age of 9 in August 2025 with Lymphoma. Losing our sweet Bella to cancer was heartbreaking. We are still in mourning, but we are so thankful we found CodaPet. It was Daniella who helped make Bella's last moments as dignified, comfortable, and painless as possible. This decision was extremely hard to make even though our veterinarians told us it was time. We decided we wanted Bella to be home with us and her siblings for her passing. After Daniella arrived at our home, Daniella gently guided us through the process, helped us get mentally and emotionally ready, and gave us the time we needed to say our goodbyes. She never made us feel rushed and went above and beyond to comfort us through the hardest time pet parents have to face. Our Bella passed peacefully in the home she knew and loved with her siblings close by. After her passing, her two siblings were then able to say their goodbyes. Then, Daniella placed her in a beautiful bed she brought and covered her gently with a blanket. Once we were ready to say our final goodbyes, we carried Bella to Daniella's car laying in that bed. The car was not only very clean, but where Bella was laid was decorated beautifully. There was even a little vase with flowers. We were then able to kiss her one more time as she just looked like she was sleeping. Daniella hugged us and let us know as soon as she received her ashes, she would bring them to us. We they came, she even made them extra special giving us clippings of her hair as well (per our request). Every detain from the time Daniella introduced herself to us to the time we received her ashes, was the highest care we could have ever received. As we write this review, we are filled with gratitude tears with every memory. Even though we wish our sweet girl, could still be with us, we are truly grateful we could give her the most peaceful passing at home with CodaPet. It was incredibly hard deciding that it was best to end Harley’s suffering and I knew that it was best for her to do it at home as she hates the car and going to the vet, she also dislikes most new people but she didn’t show any signs of that with Dr Mary as her gentle demeanor put us all at ease right from the start. This was an incredibly hard thing for my kids and I to be a part of but it was also the most peaceful experience I could ask for, for us and for Harley. We will forever be grateful to Dr Mary and the way in which she went about explaining things and her compassion for it all. It’s clear she loves animals and in loving animals sometimes this is the best most loving thing we can do for them.
