I am a veterinarian practicing in the Columbus, Ohio area. I grew up in Cleveland and always knew I wanted to be a Buckeye. I pursued my undergraduate and veterinary degrees at The Ohio State University, graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences in 2009 and with my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Throughout my undergraduate years, I worked at a veterinary clinic and gained invaluable hands-on experience. After graduation, I worked briefly in a high-volume emergency facility before joining Banfield, where I have served as an Area Chief of Staff, overseeing multiple hospitals across Ohio while continuing to practice. I left there after 10 years to start in-home euthanasia and hospice care, which I have been doing full time for nearly 3 years. Being a veterinarian has always been my calling. I am passionate about providing comfort to animals and their families, especially during end-of-life care. Mental health is just as important to me as physical health, and I take pride in supporting both my patients and their people in any way I can. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for 14 years and we have two young children. I enjoy yoga, gardening, painting, and listening to audiobooks. And, of course, I have my own furry family members: a 70-pound red mutt named Gordon, who always wears a bow tie on his collar, and Penny, our 30lb red mutt who is always getting into trouble.
