The best decision we ever made! We didn't have to take our dog to the vet; something that he and we didn't enjoy. This was the hardest decision we had to make, to put our Sugar down. Dr. Devlin came to our home where it would be more comfortable for Sugar and us. He was very kind, caring and empathetic. He took his time to explain everything and asked if we had any questions. I can honestly say, I am grateful we did this at home. It was very peaceful for our Sugar as well as for us.
It was incredibly hard deciding that it was best to end Harley’s suffering and I knew that it was best for her to do it at home as she hates the car and going to the vet, she also dislikes most new people but she didn’t show any signs of that with Dr Mary as her gentle demeanor put us all at ease right from the start. This was an incredibly hard thing for my kids and I to be a part of but it was also the most peaceful experience I could ask for, for us and for Harley. We will forever be grateful to Dr Mary and the way in which she went about explaining things and her compassion for it all. It’s clear she loves animals and in loving animals sometimes this is the best most loving thing we can do for them.
